The location is about 15-20 minutes walk from Gdansk Main Station But I don't feel far away, so I think I'm walking in 15 minutes. The exterior looked like a castle and it was so beautiful and the view in front It was better because it was river view. (It was a pity that there was no high floor, but in the facilities and cleanliness It was clean and nice.)

The best possible location in Gdansk. If you are lucky to have a sunny weather, you can have a city break and beach holiday (rooftop pool) for the price of one! The rooms were clean and the breakfast tasty, including chocolate fountain and sparkling wine. The view from the rooftop bar was good and their drinks selection is large.

I could enjoy nothing with the view. It was different what I expected. Dirty bathrobes, and maybe reused paper cup, and even didnt change towel fully, one was on the handle. Bathrobes were mess as you can see in the picture. I was wondering if someone didn't finish cleaning and forgot. And the most shocking thing was dirty paper cup, there were coffee marks on leads. I stayed here for 2 nights and found this cleaning situation late time so I didn't call the reception. But when I told the receptionists with checking out, they apologized and offered free taxi ride to central station. But seriously this hotel should improve the cleaning services.

The hotel left a good impression. Beautiful location in the historical part of the city, but 20 minutes from the center. The staff is friendly. Room and breakfast are standard. The hotel can be recommended both for business trips and for tourist trips to Gdansk.

Reviews From Real Travelers
As a Hilton Diamond I have stayed in many Hampton Inn's (as well as other Hilton's) and honestly I usually avoid them. With that said, the location of this hotel, the reviews and even the cost made it very attractive. On arrival which was MANY hours before check in. I had yet to mention my name or anything, I just asked if it was possible to check in early (even if in a few hours) and was accommodated without any issue. Ironically the person never even realized I was Diamond, never gave me snacks and all that stuff but I didn't care since I had a room MANY hours before the norm after an 8hr night train; I did receive the 'Diamond' stuff later and the person at reception apologized for not realizing it earlier or recognizing my status. Although I'd have preferred facing the front, it was a courtyard, very quiet, big room with a separate little desk area, large bed and little couch/chair. The room was very clean, the general service was great at the desk as well as in the restaurant. I am not much of a breakfast person (coffee YES!!) but the breakfast was plentiful with everything from meats, cheese, fish, hot buffet, waffles, cereal etc etc. One of the days I ate a little something and the food was fresh, hot and good. Location wise this hotel can't be beat, you are a 5 min walk to/from the waterfront, 5 min walk to the golden gate and I walked to/from the central station in 10-15 mins. Walking out the front there is a small parking lot and out the back there is a good little whisky place and a street of restaurants. 100% recommend this hotel and I will definitely be staying there again in the future.

Fantastic place. Excellent Hotel in a great location, literally one step from the Long Market. From the very entrance, or in fact, the entrance is surprising, we take the elevator to the underground parking lot. Large lobby, uniquely equipped rooms, someone who knows the Hampton chain will know what's going on. Very good cuisine, it is surprising that the prices on the menu are generally much lower than in nearby restaurants and their quality is excellent. The breakfast is dominated by hand-made waffles with maple syrup. I will definitely come back

The hotel is located in the most desirable part of Gdansk, right in the center of town, yet free from noice. The historic building has been beautifully restored, with great decoration and furniture. From the moment we entered the hotel door, until our departure, we receiver best service one can think of from hotels professional and kind personnel. Breakfast was outstanding and so was the hotel’s restaurant. During our stay we experienced a significant problem. We discussed the issue with the hotels management who very kindly and generously helped us solving the problem. We already looking forward to our next visit to Gdansk and Radisson Blu. On the second day of our four nights stay a “corporate bonding event” started in this hotel. Over next two nights we were subject to loud noise and disco music directly beneath our room which, despite my multiple protests with the night shift manager, continued until 3 a.m. Note: this hotel does not disclose running discoes and late-night parties in their advertising. Noise of loud, vulgar conversations and stench of cigarettes’ smoke from outdoor smoking place that happened to be arranged in courtyard directly under our windows caused me to demand room change on the 3rd night of our stay. My request had been refused that night under pretext there were no free rooms. Next morning, after only three hours of sleep and having involved the hotel’s Sales Manager, we were eventually able to switch rooms and spend the last night of our stay in relative peace and quiet. Thank you, Radisson Blu Gdansk, for ruining our wedding anniversary trip.

Family holiday trip, staying at this hotel in Gdansk, this is a city center location, just on Amber Street, right outside, it is not far from all attractions, there is bottled water, no phone in the room, no kettle and coffee Machine, as you can freely enjoy tea or coffee with your room card in the lobby. The room is also good. Our room is an interior view room, the lobby lights are bright, the room has blackout curtains, and the breakfast is also good for me. Although not as good as a domestic four-star hotel, it was quite good during our trip. If there is a chance to go to Poland, this place is pretty good

The hotel is located in the old town, only 5 minutes' walk from the Assumption Cathedral and the Neptune Fountain. There is also a Trojan turntable and a Ferris wheel near the hotel, so you can take your kids to have fun in the evening! The night view is not bad!

This hotel is nice! Simple yet elegant. I had the chance to stay here on my way to Bydgoszcz. Staff are very friendly, accommodating, and polite. The hotel is clean, they change the towels everyday, and you can ask for your bed linens to be changed too. Breakfast is buffet style and there’s a great selection of food. The only problem is the hotel’s location if you are a tourist. The tourist spots are a bit far. But there’s a beautiful park nearby. All in all, this hotel is great! I enjoyed my stay!

Front desk greeting very well along with smiles. They made sure my taxi to the airport was first thing in the morning. Asked since it was this early did I want a breakfast. When arrived to room they had a welcome letter in hand welcomed me with a desert. Awesome touch

Sopot nested inbetween Gdansk & Gdynia - the Tri-City is called the Polish Riviera. And rightfully so even in winter. We stayed at the Grand Hotel Sopot. As a high tier member of the All Accor loyalty program, my experiences at various properties have sculpted my expectations towards excellence. The Sofitel Grand Hotel in Sopot, a legendary landmark, unfortunately does not live up to its grandeur in several ways, and leaves room for improvement in others. Positives: - Prime Location: The hotel's location is simply unbeatable, offering easy access to the best of Sopot. Nestled conveniently, it stands as a gateway to the city's charms and fantastic views over the Baltic Sea. Exemplary Staff: True to the Sofitel brand, the staff here are the epitome of politeness and attentiveness. Their care and attention to detail made the stay significantly more comfortable. Sleep Like Royalty: The beds at Sofitel Grand Sopot are a dream. Offering fantastic sleep comfort, they ensured waling up refreshed every morning, ready to explore the city. Architectural and historical Marvel: The hotel itself is a legendary landmark, a piece of history that adds a certain prestige to one's stay. Its majestic facade is a sight to behold. Negatives or room for improvement: Ambiance Misses the Mark: The interior, though taking care in the best fashion possible clean, lacks the coziness and elegance one might expect from such a storied hotel. The decor feels somewhat out of step with the building's historic charm. Rooms Need a Touch-Up: While comfortable, the rooms are crying out for an upgrade. They don't quite match the luxurious standard set by other 5-star properties, particularly to mention the bathrooms. Spa with Potential: The spa, boasting a stunning sea view, unfortunately falls short in modernity. A revamp here could transform it into a truly world-class relaxation spot. Rethink Public Spaces: The lounge and other public areas of the hotel are in dire need of a conceptual overhaul. They should echo the grandeur and sophistication of the hotel’s exterior and prime location. In conclusion, while the Sofitel Grand Hotel Sopot excels in location, service, and sleep quality, it is somewhat let down by its interior aspects. As a loyal Accor traveler, I see great potential in this property and hope to see it reach its full, undeniable potential in the near future.

You would assume that international sports tourism would be important to this hotel. You would assume so that in a town which boasts triathlon, athletics, and basketball etc would be welcomed to this hotel with open arms. But not so! The sweaty types in running shoes, wearing singlets and shorts are just not welcome here. The problem for this hotel is that after the sports event, these competitors do shower, dress in smart chinos and polo shirts for dinner, wine or maybe a G&T on the terrace? So why would this hotel frustrate an international sporting event, part of a league visiting cities throughout Europe and generally attracting a well-heeled veteran participant? Yet that is what they did. On the early evening of Friday 1 September, the orienteering City Race European Tour was taking place in Sopot. This was one of 9 events throughout Europe including Ghent in Belgium, London in England, Vigo in Spain and Ancona in Italy. Good company for Sopot to be associated with you would have thought. But not for this hotel! One of the electronic controls was within the grounds of this hote,s which competitors were required to visit, reading highly accurate maps drawn especially for the event. Such mapping is expensive and time consuming and you can be sure that the organising club just didn't decide on the day to put a control at the exterior of the hotel. Such is the planning that this would have been discussed with the hotel, most likely months in advance. Yet what did the staff at the hotel do? They removed the control, causing the sweaty runners even more confusion than they otherwise would have experienced, causing them to sweat even more searching for the removed control and therefore cause even more mayhem then it would appear the hotel staff thought they were. Hotel staff were even instructing competitors to ”Wait”. Wait? In a race? All the organisers could do was to delete the section to and from this control, which was around 25% of the race Regrettably this significantly marred the race and upset the results as this was by far the most complicated section of the race and would therefore have been the deciding element. This hotel has damaged not only the reputation of the resort of Sopot, but the Sofitel brand. If they wish to make any sort of reparation, they should ask the organising club, who they definitely must know and ask the organiser to forward an email of apology to the 260 competitors from all across Europe and even beyond.

The most beautifully located hotel in the center of Sopot. Standard adequate for the price, rooms clean and spacious. Cleaning service at the highest level. Every hotel is created by the people working in it. Sheraton in Sopot is the best example of this. The cordiality of all employees can be seen at every step. The guest on the one hand feels at home here, and on the other has a sense of blissful relaxation. I heartily recommend Agata

Fab hotel in terms of facilities, modernness and cleanliness. Rooms were very cosy and spacey, and the whole hotel area gives a nice vibe. The roof top was pool and bar was fab, great with the 16+ limit for us travelling as adults with no children (especially since the spa downstairs was filled with children and felt more like an aqua park). The gym was small, but ok for a quick work out. Very disappointing experience in the restaurant where they would not offer me gluten free pizza or pasta, in spite that I had called and checked about this before we ordered our stay. When I then commented I should get about lunch dish for the same price, the waiter used 15 minutes to come back with to us with the message that she would bring her manager. After another 15 minutes with nothing happening, we left and had lunch elsewhere. Also, there where no allergi markings at breakfast, very disappointing at such a big and modern hotel. Top location by the public beach and walk way along the beach, which is pleasant to use when walking into the centre for better restaurants than the hotel can offer.

The location is not good...suitable for driving... Walk to the central area of Sopot for at least 15 minutes... walk to the nearest skm station for 15 to 20 minutes... Also...the description is a birthday tour...the hotel actually only gave me a spa Coupon... Someone else has sent two small cakes and a bottle of wine... and there are all kinds of blessings when you check in... Contrast... Sheraton is much more satisfied...
