"Wow, what a find! We stayed in a executive garden view room with a balcony & were blown away by the viiews. The bed was huge, with the most comfortable bedding, lovely bathroom with TV & nice selection of toiletries. We had a cream tea on arrival with the most delicious freshly made warm scones, mmm. We also made full use of the fabulous spa facilities, with pool, steam room, sauna & outdoor hot tubs, a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon! Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was fit for a king, all local produce too . Above all, it was the staff that made our stay so special, Michelle on reception was extremely friendly and welcoming & Kyle in the bar was an absolute delight. We can't believe we only live an hour away and have never been here before?!! But we will be back without a doubt! Thank you to all of your team for making our stay with you so special See you soon!!"
"I have just returned from Thornton Hall, it’s a beautiful venue, very clean, the room was fabulous for the 3 of us, the spa facilities are again clean and there’s plenty to keep you occupied, steam room, hot tubs, pool, sauna etc. My gripes are - service in the bar was slow, the ‘butty’ I was served for £9 had less egg mayo in it than a meal deal from boots. The chips that I ordered to share between 3 of us came in a tiny, what looked like a candle holder, whereas others in the group received a generous bowl. We ordered separately, but it was quite obvious we were in a group together, however the other 2 ladies had to ask where their sandwiches were after 10 minutes. Drink service was again slow even though there were plenty of staff in the bar area. We had an evening meal prebooked, and our group was squashed into a tiny room, which quickly became very hot. The service for the evening meal was very good, my only moan about this meal was the quality of the chips, they were very dry and over cooked, which let down the main course as the steak melted in the mouth. The rest of the meal was delicious and the staff were attentive. I will be returning in May, I just hope that the service will be better. "
"I find it hard to believe that anyone could find fault with this hotel or leave negative reviews. I was met with very friendly and attentive staff. My room was excellent, clean and welcoming. What makes this hotel is the staff, although a beautiful building in a lovely setting it is would mean nothing without the staff. At breakfast I met Maria, who spent time telling me about the hotel and how the food is locally sourced where possible. She is a credit to the establishment and clearly enjoys her role I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in this part of the county. I had a simple chicken sandwich when I arrived in the evening , which was probably the nicest sandwich I have eaten in a long while. Breakfast was amazing, well cooked, well presented and tasted superb. I wish I could rate this higher than 5 as it certainly deserves it."

"We booked last minute as our other accommodation was horrendous (Pontins, Rhyl) but this hotel was great, staff were really helpful and the whole stay was great - nothing negative! Room was clean and tidy! We had a nice breakfast in the pub on site too!"
"Our forth stay here while visiting our family. Very friendly staff . Lovely clean rooms very comfy beds. We had a fantastic deal this weekend great value. We also used the meal and breakfast deal for the adjoining Beeches only £23.99 . Lovely food."
"As always with premier Inn, you knw exactly what to expect, a quiet, clean room with good service. The area was just ideal for us being outside the city and ease of parking. It was also a good location for exploring North Wales."

"Stayed for one night (Thursday) with two children. Parking wasn’t free (£3 I think) and there were plenty of spaces. We all shared the one room, which was first floor and a good size for us all. Youngest was pleased as room looked over a train track and he could watch the trains go by. Noise wasn’t an issue and I don’t think I noticed them. Wrexham town centre was a short walk away for dinner. Breakfast was standard Premier Inn, but Improved with the addition of Sarah who was working front of house. Full of energy and enthusiasm. A proper ray of sunshine on a damp cold Friday morning. "
"The stay here was great ,from the staff at reception, the cleaner's and the staff in the restaurant. a special mention to Sarah who was very helpful and Rob the chef for my great scrambled eggs.room was clean and the bed great ,I had a problem with the pillows being to hard I asked and was sorted straight away, thanks to all the staff and can't wait for my nextime stay."
"This location is convenient for North Wales. Signage to the Premier Inn could be improved but it is a modern building with an internal restaurant (Thyme). Our room was clean and quiet. There is a lift. We selected the meal deal and enjoyed nice food at breakfast and dinner in the Thyme restaurant. We have stayed before, but this time we had to pay £3 per night upon arrival for the car parking."

"Visited for Lunch with a friend,as it is a convenient meeting place just off A55. Ordered a Roast beef sandwich and Fajita with chips. Everything was freshly cooked. Loads of thick sliced beef in my sandwich and real chips. Katrina, who served us, was very attentive and friendly, checking our requirements and needs were catered for. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return again."

"My sister and I stayed two nights via a buyagift voucher. From first contact the staff were more than helpful, two days before arriving I rang to ask if our room was accessible as I had mobility problems, no problem I will change your room to a ground floor one. On arrival we found our room to be in a mews type room arranged round a courtyard with parking on the doorstep. We had a dog with us and she was made welcome too. On asking what time breakfast was we were delighted to be told by the chef it was ok to go in later than advertised. Breakfast was lovely a good choice from an ample menu and served hot and tasty. We ate dinner in the bar and the menu was extensive and good value the white chocolate and black currant ice cream exceptional. All the staff were friendly helpful professional. The room was clean and well furnished beds very comfortable and a large shower. The hotel is in an ideal place to visit North Wales and Anglesey which we did, altogether a very pleasant two day break. Thank you."
"We had a party of 75 people in the function room on the 19th of December, yan and the team were brill. The food was excellent and not one complaint. What ever we asked prior to our party yan said yes too and nothing was to much trouble. 2018 we all had our Xmas Party and again yan and the team worked extremely hard to make it special. Also December 11th 2019 we organised a Xmas Party for 15 people who throughly enjoyed their evening and again all the food was lovely , yan and the team had put tablecloths , Xmas crackers etc to make it special. We will all be getting together there very soon "

"The premier inn was as expected, clean, functional, comfortable. we have stayed here before. The lady on check in was so friendly and helpful, organised a taxi for us etc and was chirpy and very good front of house. However the beefeater breakfast the next morning really ruined the experience..the restaurant floors were dirty and carpet covered in food remnants, multiple tables stacked with dirty dishes, and no staff that seemed to care. we first arrived and stood for over 5 mins at the ' please wait to be seated area' as noone came we then made our way to a table. There were 3 staff on duty from what we could see, but it was hard to find one at times. They ran out of juice, milk, yoghurt , bread and didnt seem to care about restocking this even though several tables were asking for this. We had to go find a member of staff to take our hot food order, and when it arrived there was items missing/orders wrong - but again couldnt seem to find anyone to ask . However as soon as 11 o clock arrived 2 staff members quickly appeared and cleared the dirty tables we had sat among for over 45 mins and seemed that they couldnt get the place cleared quick enough so they could get out. I have stayed at many premier inns before, and this one too, and never experienced worse service. It was appalling, noone cared that people were constantly having to ask for the basics such as juice and milk or bread to toast. There were no plates to put toast on from 30 mins before end of service, nor was there any white bread, or juice. I generally do not post negative posts but this was truly shocking, we have NEVER experienced anything like it before."
"Only stayed for one night whilst on a long trip and to be honest a hotel room is a hotel room aslong as it's clean we are happy but Dan who worked on reception made it for us he was so lovely and put us at ease with the new covid rules he was lovely explained everything for us and us being slightly fussy needed some more pillows straight away went and made us up se extra and delivered them to the room, booked us in for breakfast and Considering he hadn't slept all night was still as cherpy and happy that morning to wave us off he's a credit to the hotel thanks so much!! From Emma and Curtis"
"We stayed here for 4 nights whilst our house was having some work on it. Loads of free car parking space. Check in easy. Hand sanitiser and screens up and signs saying to wear mask. Bedroom was clean. Cosy bed as you expect at a premier inn! We had a sofa bed in our room too. Tea and coffee making facilities. Bathroom had a bath and shower and usual shampoo/body wash and hand wash provisions. Hairdryer in room. Small space for clothes (was all we needed). Desk, TV and a reasonably sized mirror. You have to ask for house keeping now which was no issue and also if we needed something (like more tea bags!) you could just ask at reception. There is a restaurant next door for breakfast and meals. In all it was a sound stay."
