For 200 euros per night one would expect a functioning aircon and better facilities in the rooms. Breakfast is very good but they mix freshly cut fruit with ‘old’ cut fruit, which is not nice and plain cheap for a hotel of this category. There is no handle to help getting our of the bath and the toiletries are mean. Rooms are small. They charge for using their carpark. There is a lovely bar and a very good restaurant with limited menu. Staff is friendly and efficient, apart from someone at breakfast.

We lived a very friendly reception, unlike the reviews to be read here. The barman was also very pre-coming and competent. The breakfast was quite enough, the long-term service forces there on the ground more than friendly, fast and you felt well lifted. We are happy to come back!

Das Sopherl am See ist ein schönes, ruhig gelegenes Hotel direkt am Wesslinger See. Alle waren sehr freundlich und haben uns mit den Tipps und Infos rund um das Hotel und den Ort einen wirklich schönen Urlaub ermöglicht. Das abwechslungsreiche Frühstück ermöglicht einen entspannten Start in den Tag und die Selbstbedienungs-Bar ist ein toller Service. Das Appartement ist sehr gut und modern ausgestattet. Auf dem eigenen Balkon (oder auch im Garten) kann man es sich richtig gut gehen und den Tag entspannt ausklingen lassen.
