"This hotel is in a quiet place and really comfortable. Hotel staff is very courteous. Rooms are clean, amenities are great. Check-in and check-out procedure is in minutes, which usually becomes boring stuff for most of the hotels. Breakfast spread is fantastic with a great deal of varieties to try. There is an a-la-cart restaurant downstairs from the lobby (named bollywood), its a quiet place for couples to sit and chat. Food quality is wonderful - not too bland - not too spicy. Rates are moderate and surely not a rip-off. Rooms are big enough and was not an experience that the room looks big in the website pictures and in reality is very small. Curtains open and close using a button at the bedside - great thing for those who are lazy to get up in the morning. One thing we liked was - almost every evening a pair of artists play Sitar and Tabla and it is indeed a soothing experience."
"The hospitality provided by the crown Bhubaneswar is really world class . One should be prepared to get pampered by the team of professional at this beautiful hotel. "Booked thru mmt for 2 n @ Rs 3k/ n. Their direct tariff is even more. Hotel is very near to Bhubaneswar Rly Stn main entrance, ie, platform no 1. I checked in the post covid time, so naturally occupancy was very very low. On sunday night I reached at 10pm, reception told me current occupancy is only 3 rooms incl me. But due to covid, easiest walking path is blocked which may be more 200 mts from station. I had to walk a long way say 700 to 800 meters to reach. Best path is go straight to master canteen chak, take left, walk and enter 2nd left road, go straight, last building on right is hotel... this route is approx 500 mts. Although they said there are 7 to 8 bookings the next day but I didn't see any faces apart from hotel 3 to 4 staff in my 2 n stay. Check in good, reception person polite. But 1 thing I disliked is they were taking photo of my mmt booking voucher, why that was reqd? However executive room was good size, but room lighting is really poor/ dim, which other reviewers also mentioned. 1 king bed, 1 closet, a small mini fridge kept in lower portion of closet ( switched off empty, may be due to covid), 1 long multi purpose shelf, 1 chair, 2 good single sofas with a small centre table is all that in the room. Bed quality good and clean, room also clean. Washroom size standard, with separate area for bathing, separated by polyethylene curtain. Toiletries min 1 small hand soap. 2 tiny bottles of wash gell (1 empty), brush kit avl. AC average. Renovation on 2nd and 3rd floor going on, little sound prob coming at 1st floor at midnight. Viewing thru window is a big zero.... wall of adjacent building. 2 lifts available, good and fast. Food is quite ok, but huge overpriced. 2 plates of steam rice, 2 plates of egg curry & 1 roasted papad was boiled Ts 850.... its sheer robbery.... and the hotel and food is not at all at par with 3 or 4 or 5 star category. For that I purchased a 2 lits mineral water from outside at Rs 25, because at hotel a little was costing some Rs 75 plus gst. Couldn't comment on their swimming pool, which is under renovation. Due to covid, bar and restaurant closed, you can only order thru room service. But a primitive rule of last food order at 8.30pm irritated me. However the avl 3 to 4 staffs are polite, well behaved. The reception gave me a wakeup call at 4.25 am, which I definitely liked. Overall my review is good or just over average. Recommended for 1 to 2 n stay, specially who have to commute by train in late night or early morning. "
"Pros- Excellent hotel, neat and clean rooms, smoking rooms available, ever smiling staff, excellent location within a minutes walking distance from railway station, good buffet breakfast. Cons- Overpriced food. Swimming pool under renovation"
"Room are good in size but dimly lit. Location is superb with just 10 minutes from airport. Food is great and room service is excellent. If room lighting is improved then can get 5 stars. Value for money otherwise."

"In India, it is a commonly used phrase by the hotel industry, “Atithi Devo Bhava”… But, the truth is that the phrase has become hackneyed, means little, and falls flat when it comes to the actual treatment that the guest receives… The ‘ground reality’ at most of the hotels is very different, and rarely do hotels live up to the tall promises they make… But, I must say, that TRIDENT BHUBANESWAR, not only lived up to this phrase, but also made sure, that our trust in the the grandiose of the Indian hospitality remains intact… Most Trident properties do that to you, but will have to say that our stay at Trident Bhubaneswar was a really magnificent one!!! The stay gave us an experience that we shall cherish forever our lives… REALLY!!! Mr. Adin Jaisinghani, honestly can’t thank you enough for being such a fantastic and super gracious host!!! It was like being at ones own luxurious ‘home’, and pampered to no end by your own loving ‘family members’… You and your entire team are truly exceptional!!! The genuine warmth that we received from your end made sure that we will FOR SURE keep returning to the city just to enjoy your warm and extremely loving presence and hospitality… Everything was just perfect, right from the lip-smacking meals coming out of the kitchen under the supremely talented, Chef Chanchal’s guidance to the impeccable service provided by the Housekeeping department!!! Covid times have been tough on everyone, but the hotel makes sure, that the guest doesn’t feel even the slightest pinch of it, even after following the covid protocol to the hilt… As far as the HOUSEKEEPING DEPARTMENT goes, am always very very particular about the cleanliness and hygiene standards, that they need to make according to my listed specifications… MUST SAY, the care taken was EXCEPTIONALLY BRILLIANT!!! Special and utmost loving THANKS to Mr. Mate, Mr. Krishna, Mr. Arif and Mr. Sitaram for having ensured that… Now, coming to the FOOD $ BEVERAGE DEPARTMENT, apart from the delicious, sumptuous and truly yummy food that we were served, will never ever forget the warm and heartfelt interactions we had with their team members namely, our genuinely brilliant- Mr. Keshav, the “ Nightingale voiced ”- extremely cute and sweet Miss Fareen, our super enthusiastic- Mr. Debjyoti, our forever glowing- Miss Sristi, our ever smiling- Mr. Bachchu, Mr. Subir, Mr. Sayan and Mr. Prafulla… And last but definitely not the least, my utmost heartfelt and loving thanks, Mr. Chanchal for always going the extra mile to make sure that every meal of ours was THE SPECIAL MOST ONE, prepared straight out of your heart… Well, needless to say, the FRONT DESK staff were super friendly, with big, lovely smiles on their faces all the time… Miss Sweety and all of her colleagues (unfortunately whose names, I forgot to note down, so kindly forgive me for that), we will forever and ever remember your welcome and a very special see-off forever… Mr. Krupa, you picked us up at airport w"
"Distinctly Beautiful Hotel Last week I visited Bhubneshwar and developed great fascination for Trident Bhubneshwar because of the great ambiance, greenery, delectable food, warmth of the staff; it is indeed a place which can offer delight even to the most erudite and discerning connoisseur. Probably, after roaming around the very well kept gardens inside the precincts of the hotel, one feels that God does not live in shrines made by hu*** hands; He exists as the breath of life in everything; He is infused into everything, incarnate in the here and now, at the heart of everything – gardens, fountains, ponds, chirping of hundreds of birds in the early morning in the hotel. The most joyful moments are those when we find pleasure in the things which surround us; it may be sprawling garden, may be blue waters of the swimming pool facing room in the hotel. I do wish for and prefer garden facing rooms which are brighter, more airy and offer a huge mystical view of the sky and the greenery. I was given the room with the same privileges. The staff members Mr. Gopal under the leadership of great Mr. Adil Jaisinghani offer very warm welcome, prompt delivery and personalized care. While staying at the hotel we did not miss home. We are especially thankful to other front desk staff members who were so good to ensure timely delivery of everything needed by us including the complimentary cake to celebrate the birthday of my uncle who accompanied me for stay in the hotel. Often when we hear of someone experiencing or perceiving God’s presence, God’s grace; I believe that the person can ‘see’ or ‘hear’ that presence or grace in the hotel. It was very pleasant, while leaving the hotel, to meet this awesome, pleasant, young, suave, energetic, well-bread, smart and remarkable *** - Mr. Adil; this moment remains caught in my memory. I do not find proper words to thank Mr. Adil who works so hard to keep this hotel updated and keep the Trident flag flying high in the sky. The hotel stands to the culture of Trident and is truly the embodiment of splendid warmth which was very well delivered. Dr. Rajesh Bhola Travel and Spiritual Writer & Columnist"
"If you are in Bhubaneswar, Trident should be your only choice. Be it business or person visit. It’s one of the finest properties of trident. And probably the only luxury property in Bhubaneswar My best wishes to the compete team and the ***agement who ensure that your stay is not only comfortable but also make sure you feel home far from home. Good luck !"
