First time staying here and blown away. From checkin- front desk was super helpful and welcoming making sure we got settled properly which was much appreciated- TC was awesome. Reception area was super posh with fireplace etc. Room was elegant and comfortable with big windows nice bathroom etc. kids loved the tv in the bathtub. Pool was beautiful loved the swan floats and pool staff were lovely and beyond accommodating. Thanks Hannah! Loved just walking the grounds which were California jungle chic. I am so happy they preserved the old world glamor of this hotel, in the best, most modern way. The restaurant is such a special indoor- outdoor setting with booths and trees and fountains. We loved eating here. Kids liked being able to spend time with both parents in a relaxed setting. All in all a great stay and look forward to returning to this special spot solo or with friends.

The service attitude of the hotel is really very poor. After sitting down, wait for the waiter to order for 40 minutes, wait for 40 minutes to serve, and pay for the waiter everywhere. The waiter in charge of our table really couldn't find it during the meal, and let other waiters help people. It takes an hour to get a juice from the room. What a special group of people that run this hotel. The building is old and has natural deficiencies with faucets, windows, ect due to its age, but the location, views, beds, commodities and service from the staff is truly unmatched. They sent us champagne and fresh fruit, which was delicious and they were so attentive each time we came and went. The vallet parking crew was so sweet, timely and efficient. Always talking to the kids and asking them about their adventures. I would definitely consider staying here again. Wonderful experience all around!

Hotel room space can also be very good location to go to popular attractions not far from the hotel looks like just opened the lobby is still renovated now got a temporary lobby parking fee for one night 46 US dollars service staff is very warm in all aspects except our room air conditioning is really It’s too noisy, I don’t know if it’s the same as our room.

A flawless experience from start to finish, Casa Del Mar made our experience wonderful. We could stay there forever! The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly and the AMEX Fine Hotels & Resorts benefits were superb, too. Our room looked out directly onto the beautiful beach & boardwalk, and the jacuzzi tub was an amazing added bonus! The outdoor pool & hot tub were amazing, and just perfect to watch the beautiful west-coast sunsets. We also enjoyed the bar and a nice breakfast overlooking the ocean in the morning, and the free bike rental service to bike to Venice Beach. The entire experience was brilliant, do not hesitate to stay at this amazing hotel and make sure you make time in your schedule to enjoy all the amenities on offer.
