This is an elegant, family-run hotel with a truly notable restaurant in view of the Chiemsee. It is directly across the street from an indoor pool-park, which offers a guarantee of fun even in inclement weather. The hotel also has its own heated indoor pool and offers spa treatments that we did not sample. Our room was spacious and had a balcony overlooking a lovely rosegarden, with a view of the lake partially obscured by neighboring buildings. Service was thoughtful and attentive. The food was incredible.

We were a few days with our four legs at the Hotel Castle view. The equipment has come to the years but the view from the balcony on the Chiemsee is a true enrichment. The room staff was very friendly and was also happy to take a hand when you had to carry something heavy. Breakfast was very diverse and is built in the buffet between 8-10 in the morning. The hotel is well located only Prien has a high number of therapeutic clinics that are “foundly” in a series near the lake. The centre and the delicious restaurants are about 20 minutes walk from the hotel.
