"We cannot hide that we are art lovers. When we entered the Hotel Altstadt we were truly speechless for the concept behind this wonder in the city of Vienna. Each room was designed by an architect and designer who tried to give voice to the city through his work and creativity. Thanks to a QR code on the doors of the hotel rooms, you can enjoy a unique experience and discover what lies behind itđź’› The Hotel Altstadt is a speaking hotel, a living hotel and a hotel museum, where art will embrace you in all its expressions."
"When we are look for hotels our top tree requirements are: 1) A non chain hotel. 2) Central location. 3) Not to big and not to small. Hotel Altstadt Vienna have all these and with their focus on a cosy atmosphere with lots of art, outstanding and unique taste in the selected interior, made this a perfect fit for our 5 days stay in Vienna. Their great breakfast and friendly staff just tops the experience and they get our highest recommendation."
"Friendly stuff - that's first to mention. Overall it is not big hotel, situated in a building, which was built as for rental of apartments. Therefore the feeling is a bit like you live in apartments rather then hotel. Overall atmosphere is good, bed is comfortable, well equipped bathroom, a bit old-fashioned furniture in the rooms. It was nice time in Vienna thanks to our choice of the hotel. Will definitely return."

Herzog-Friedrich-Platz 1, Gemeinde Mauerbach, Lower Austria, Austria
"yes, this place has a garage. but it also has a very decent bus connection, No. 450, directly from the Vienna HĂĽtteldorf railway station. i think the hotel even gives you a free welcome drink if you arrive by public transport. the gardens are lovely, the pool nice if not huge, the whole place good and clean. Food quite nice (i only had buffets, nothing a la carte). wifi worked well. spacious rooms. very good for seminars, or as a couple pamper yourself with the sunday to monday special. they try to be more sustainable, but there is still room for improvement. do we have to have fresh tropical fruit in Austria in JUNE? Do we need the amenities in the little bottles, or should they not just screw big ones to the bathroom wall? I think this is top notch for seminars, workshops, conferences- the Austrian government thinks so, too. I am not sure I would use it for pure leisure for an entire holiday."
"I stayed at the Schlosspark Mauerbach hotel for a work off-site: the meeting facilities were not the best, the low-performing AC turning the meeting room into a sauna in no time. The hotel part itself is really good: I had a beautiful room with outside seating - clean, modern, everything well functioning. Wooden floor, tasteful interior. The outdoor pool and the park gave this business trip a relaxing touch, allowing for walks and some physical activity. Service was friendly and helpful. Parking was free."
"30 min. drive from Vienna, Beautiful Surroundings, Excellent Restaurant (but please look after your air condition - smell in clothes is not good) Comfortable Rooms, Sauna, Steam Bath and a large Pool (party outdoor) Really enjoyable!"

"Very nice Boutique Hotel, freshly renovated and amazing room. Old buildings with a mix of a modern interior. Spa area and heated pool. To be recommended! They have no Restaurant but a small bar. Nice garden area and very friendly service"
"BEWARE. I booked this hotel for three nights in August 2019. One room for myself and my husband and are two daughters and a single room for my mother. We were attending a family wedding reception in the town along with many more family and friends from Ireland, the UK and Vienna. We received official confirmation of our booking and provided my credit card details to secure the rooms and proceeded to book our return flights. About a week later I received an email from the hotel telling me that due to an error on their system our booking was cancelled. No alternatives offered. We quickly discovered that all rooms booked by family and friends had also been cancelled. We then found out that the hotel had taken a booking for another wedding party (booked after us) and had chosen to take this booking over ours. By now all the other hotels were fully booked for a family of 4 but after spending a day desperately trying to find alternative accommodation we have found room though sadly our only option is to have both my 4 and 7 year old share a double bed with us. This will be our first visit to the area and has caused much upset to both my family and also my cousin who resides in Vienna and who's wedding reception we are attending. So in summary, be warned, this hotel has no idea about customer service and reserve the right to cancel a booking up to 30 days prior to arrival. Book if you want to take a risk. My advice is choose another hotel. Shameful."

Gutheil-Schoder-Gasse 7B, Vienna, Austria
"Colleagues from the company department traveled together to find a villa. I spent three nights with my family in the Tujiahuu of Qiandao Lake last year. All aspects of the experience were good for me and my family, so I asked the manager there. The contact information of the store manager of Anji, this time booked 3 villas, the store manager arranged very well, in addition to breakfast, the aunt's home cooking is also very delicious, they have also been trained by professional chefs, under The first choice for the second-time villa will still consider Huanshu!"
"The hotel has a free parking lot. The hotel is next to a large park, and there is a beautiful cherry blossom in April. The hotel is very close to a supermarket, and it is very convenient to buy fruits."
"Breakfast is OK, suitable for children, parking lot is very large"

Helenental 41, Rosental, Lower Austria, Austria
"Unfortunately we were not satisfied. The hotel is nice and staff friendly, but that is...All in the hotel was so unpractical...rooms were not isolated from the street's and corridor's sounds, during the night there was a lot of light, there was only one really uncomfortable pillow. The toilet wasn't clean and I had to clean it before using. The hotel does not have a la carte menu and the choice from their buffet for 32 EUR was poor. There are no lifts so you have to go by foot to the second floor. If you wish to visit wellness, you have to pick up your towels in the reception. Then there are no cloak rooms, only few clothes boxes on the corridor. When it is time for a dinner and you wish to visit wellness, you have to undress yourself on the corridor while other people passing you in the evening clothes. The showers are located just in the area of the swimming pool, so everybody who is lying on the deck chairs, is watching you when you have taking a shower before swimming. How then you can wash yourself properly??? The water was not 29 degrees, but it was much more less. The breakfast was normal, rather for 3 star hotel. But what was really funny-if you wish to grab some vegetables, you have to peel it by yourself. You have to take e.g. whole pepper, peel it, take what you want and put back the rest for the others...I have never seen this before! How unhygienic! It is really pitty that this hotel in such amazing and nice surrounding cannot provide better services."
"Have been to this hotel before a few times. The location and the ambience is also fantastic. But for this time Istvan from the staff was the only thing I could mention as positive: his kidness and style saved the reputation of the hotel. If we should rate the hotel based on the staff - probably we’d give 0 stars and highly not recommend this place to anyone: absolutely unacceptable attitude of the reception. Not even a welcome, no information about the stay, about the room, breakfast time, OF ANYTHING. Because of the misinformation we almost missed the dinner. There was no robe or even slippers in the room, had to go back to the reception 2x (even then the young man was unable to answer if he can provide it...) No elevator to the second floor room The lady during the checkout (with a full mouth during eating behind the desk) didnt even ask if everything was ok, or ANYTHING... feeling totally pissed of by the staff. The room where we stayed should be in a maximum 3star hotel"
"This is a perfect place to rest. Breakfast buffet is plentiful and the restaurant really nice. Unfortunately it closed early in the evening. Gardens are lovely and very instructive. Wir stayed for 2 nights. Perfect to take trips to Heiligenkreuz and Baden."

Siebensterngasse 43, Vienna, Austria
"This hotel is lovely but to echo another review, it's the staff who make it. They are so kind and accommodating. There was work on the street during our stay which was very noisy but we were thoughtfully provided with earplugs and a complimentary bottle of fizz! The noise did not cause a problem. Breakfast is included in the already reasonable price and it varied and fresh - fruit, yoghurt, breads, jams, cereal, sausage & eggs, continental meats & cheeses, the staff even offered to make special vegan options and they are flexible with the times it is served. The room itself was very nice with a four-poster bed and chandelier. I honestly can not fault this place and can't believe any review on here is less than 5 star."
"My husband and I spent 2 weeks at Hotel Kugel during the Christmas holidays. The hotel is located a short trolley ride from the Ringstrasse in a great neighborhood. We really enjoyed walking around the 7th district. However, you stay at Kugel for the staff! Christina and Johannes and their staff were fabulous! They were incredibly helpful, even before we got to Vienna. We enjoyed chatting with Christina after our excursions. She provided many personal touches, something we would not get at a big chain hotel. We have already recommended Kugel to a couple of friends and colleagues planning trips to Vienna. We will stay there again the next time with visit Vienna. Thank you again to everyone at Hotel for a wonderful stay."
"We were in this hotel for second time, both visits was great. Great service, great breakfast and really lovely rooms in ancient style. The room and the whole hotel is clean, disinfected . We will be back next year."

"For the second time in four years, we had the great pleasure of staying at the family-owned Hotel Jäger for our one-week stay in Vienna. Most of the staff members who were there in 2015 were also there to greet us, including our good friend Claudia who made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. The morning after, we were fortunate enough to have Lili accompany us to the nearby tram station, helping us to get our one-week pass for the short ride downtown. And that was after a delicious breakfast (outstanding smoked salmon and homemade cake and jams) in the cosy dining room where each morning, Kova kept the same table ready for us by the window. It was also while we were having breakfast the day before we left that family member and manager Andrea took care of our check-in at the airport. And at 6:30 the next morning, while we were waiting for our taxi, Andrea's mother Helene made it a point to come in to wish us well and thank us for our visit. In our traveling experience, that is the kind of personalized and caring attention that makes the Jäger stand out from the rest. No wonder it is still thriving after close to 110 years. Can't wait to return."
"Very pleasant rooms, generous breakfast, eggs as well to your liking and staff really happy to help you, nothing here is too much trouble. Very quiet area, right adjacent to tram and train and an easy 15 minute journey into the centre. A couple of local restaurants now nearby and a charming front garden with chairs , lawns and trees. Even a drink and snack menu is offered from reception so one night , quite late a few hot chocolates were no trouble This hotel has a strong following , preferably book ahead , we met people from all over Europe who regularly have returned. The owner , Andrea , is in attendance, working away , hands on, and is a very cheerful and helpful person and this creates an environment where you really feel looked after and lots of good advice is always offered. Spotlessly clean and altogether very pleasant net, and well priced. "
"Such a lovely family run hotel, 15 mins by tram into Vienna city. Arrived by taxi to a pleasant surprise, very inviting garden area at front where you can sit and enjoy. This is a 4* hotel, nice breakfast and most important very friendly staff. Thank you hotel Jager for my lovely stay."
