Oddly shaped room, very skinny, but it had a balcony which was the priority for us. The balcony was tiny with metal frame covered in vines (I thought it was darling). The balcony overlooked the garden courtyard where you could eat breakfast. Because of the shape of the room, the tv faced across the bed so you had to be sitting on the balcony to watch it, thankfully we don’t watch TV so that wasn’t an issue. The hotel decor commemorated the history of the hotel with photos, text in English, map, blueprints, and Art Neuvo style including brass goat towel hooks which were a nice touch. They seemed to be light on staff for main check in–only saw one person there. Yet, they were helpful. This hotel is in a great location! It is right across from the main plaza and the city park. The bathroom was a shower and one sink and toilet. The hair wasn’t cleaned out of the drain which was gross but otherwise the rest of the room was clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent–many options and kept tidy. The menu was in English and German. The main clientele of this hotel seemed to be military personnel. There is a spa at the hotel but it is subcontracted out and the hotel said it had so say over their hours or services. We didn’t use it and it might not have been open. Overall a quiet and peaceful stay. I felt safe there and we were able to walk to several points of interest nearby including the beautiful kurpark.

A nice hotel right in the middle of Weisbaden. Rooms are very comfortable and super quiet. Good sized bathrooms and plenty of English channels on TV. No good options during the day until the bar opens at 6. A nice breakfast room. Historic building with some rooms in the original part.

Hotel clean, staff friendly, location good. Rooms small, bathroom even smaller. Matches good and firm. Water cooker (powdered and calcified) with tea and coffee free. Rooms to the rhine with balcony. Sounds like a good idea, in the heat is in fact a disaster: the sun blows into air conditioning there is no rooms are 30 degrees and more. Open windows mean the feeling to be located next to a frequently driven street incl. exhaust odour. Hotel has winter bed covers on the rooms. Ventilator only on request (also dust). I think such rooms are not to be rented for the price in summer.

Small but beautifully renovated and well equipped room in traditional hotel, located directly on the Rhine, closer to the castle Biebrich is not possible. Whoever needs to sleep at open room should have Oropax with it.

This was the first hotel we stayed at, as part of a 7 month trip through Europe and Africa. Will admit - not the best idea, as this apartment is SO NICE, that you'll end up comparing all your future hotel rooms against it (and they'll probs come up short). Beautiful converted building, spacious rooms, everything feels recently renovated and clean. The owner was exceptionally friendly and went out of his way to help us. Our room looked over the main square and fountain, and was extremely nice to fall asleep at night with the window opening listening to people walk past, eating at cafe and the fountain in the background. Only thing to note is that the beds seem a little small. We're used to a king at home, or queen when we travel. This may indeed be a queen, but it feels like a double. I fell off the bed (while sleeping) one night we stayed. Not fun as bed is quite high. Excellent stay in Mainz, and a great alternative to Frankfurt if they're having a convention (and the prices go sky-high). Old town here is small, but there's enough stuff to keep one busy for a few days.

I have sought for two older ladies from the family an appropriate accommodation for one night that offers senior rooms and a good location. The rooms (Deluxe Suite) offer a lot of space, a spacious bathroom with low shower, a own kitchenette, table, sofa and a double bed. All in unfaithful condition, very lovely and high quality furnished. Very super. The room in 3. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable. The staff at reception and check-out were very friendly and helpful and have created a great atmosphere already at their arrival.

We had googled our way to the fact that the Hilton Mainz has a very good location right down to the Rhine and you can purchase access to the hotel's ”Executive Lounge”. We booked 5 nights and we were ready for a little vacation by the Rhine. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were quickly and efficiently checked in by Mrs. Blanco Flores, who upgraded us to a room with a view of the Rhine. Mrs. Flores made us aware, that the ”Executive Lounge” was unfortunately not that big, but we had to see that with our ”own eyes”. Really good service was provided upon check-in, and our expectations for the stay at the hotel became greater. The room we had been allocated was on the 5th floor with a wonderful view of the Rhine. We had booked a room with breakfast, so we were excited to see, how the breakfast buffet was. But we were very pleasantly surprised there 😊.. There was a reasonably large selection of various breads and hot items, so it was just a matter of getting started with breakfast. The hotel allows you to sit outside and enjoy your breakfast with a view of the Rhine, and watch the people walking and cycling past. We were very lucky with the weather, so breakfast was enjoyed for a little longer time than usual. After breakfast, we went up and see how the ”Executive Lounge” was. But unfortunately we were somewhat disappointed. The ”Executive Lounge” consists of 2 small rooms, where there were 3 tables in each room, and 3 people could sit at each table. When we got outside the time when alcoholic drinks are served, we could see that you could have a cup of coffee or an apollinaris. The snacks on display looked a bit boring, and the fruit wasn't of the best quality either. But cheer up, it could be good in the evening... But when we visited the ”Executive Lounge” in the evening, beer, wine and spirits were on display - but the snacks that were also on display didn't seem particularly inviting - so we didn't take any of them. Summary of our experience of the ”Executive Lounge” is that it is not necessary to purchase access to the ”Executive Lounge”. And we can only encourage hotel management to go on a study trip to Düsseldorf or Dresden, where we have experienced what an ”Executive Lounge” should really be like. In general, the level of service is very high, and the staff a super good service at the hotel 😊... Here we have to highlight in particular: Mrs. Flores from the reception, Heike from the breakfast restaurant and Brittany from Guest Relations. They gave us a really good service during our stay. In summary, we would give the hotel 4 stars out of 5. If the hotel should have had the last star, the ”Executive Lounge” must be upgraded with better rooms. (Could space be created for a small area down in the restaurant area, so that you also have the opportunity to sit outside on the warm summer evenings. We would like to come again at another time to enjoy the good location and super service 😊..

Nice location on the Rhine River. Hotel and rooms were very clean. Beds and pillows were comfy. Breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of selection. Front desk staff were very friendly. Did not try the restaurant for dinner but did sit outside at night in their outdoor bar area. Loved the reading lights attached to the headboards. Enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

I came with my football team on a pre-season tour, and we really enjoyed our stay at Novotel Mainz. The staff made our stay so enjoyable and the team felt really welcomed. Of particular enjoyment were the facilities; the sauna and the plunge pool were popular among the players, especially after the games and helped soothe sore muscles! Special thanks go to Frank, Abdel, Helene and Aida, who did a wonderful job looking after our needs and who were especially patient with our younger team members in the small hours...! And also Emily at breakfast who made sure we had everything we wanted. If we ever do return to Mainz, I'm sure we'll be staying here again!

Check-in was fairly swift and the staff were all friendly. The room was decent & clean but rather old fashioned. The bed was comfortable enough and had all non-feather pillows--great for allergy sufferers! Unfortunately, there was only a power outlet on one side of the bed--not good in this electronic age where two people need to charge devices at bedside. The room had a mini fridge & a coffeemaker. The bathroom had a shower/tub combo. The shower head & shower water pressure were fantastic! The shower gel was overly-perfumey--poor choice, in general, but especially for those with allergies; unscented would better serve the masses. There was decent counter space & a wall mounted magnifying mirror, which is nice for shaving & makeup. The hairdryer, unfortunately, was too small to work with a diffuser. The free WiFi had horrible signal, rendering it useless. Parking in the nearby garage is pricey. I've stayed here before but I may very well look elsewhere the next time--especially given the poor WiFi.

The room was very comfortable and spacious. We were staying in the separate building (some hundred meters), so not very comfortable for breakfast and pool, which are in the main building. who busy the room. Unfortunately as always the moquettes and tapehouse furniture do not leave any room. Another small signal: the water of the pool a little cold. extremely good breakfast. extremely kind staff.

I have been staying in this hotel in and off for a number of years now. The rooms are always clean and the staff are always attentive. The restaurant also serves great food and the beers are always cold. They have implemented really good Covid 19 policies to ensure the safety of the staff as well as the guests. Thank you all!! Hope to see you soon.
