We love Arenys de Mar and usually opt for an apartment stay. We wanted to relax before our son's wedding so chose Vila Arenys. The staff are extremely helpful. My husband needed his waistcoat tailored and Maria insisted in coming with us to help with the communication with the sastre. Room was really comfortable and we slept well. Location was very central and easy to get to from the station. The Chocolat is amazing and the coffee is the best for miles around. Arrived as travellers and left as friends.

It is with considerable disappointment that I pen this review. Our experience at SANT JORDI, a purported 5-star property, fell drastically short of our expectations and has left us questioning the credibility of its rating. Upon our late-night arrival, we were eager to unwind and revel in the luxury amenities, especially the bathtub, which was a pivotal factor in our selection of this hotel. However, the excitement quickly morphed into disillusionment when we encountered a large, unsightly brown stain on the side of the bath, resembling feces. This egregious lapse in cleanliness prompted immediate communication with the reception, an interaction we hadn’t anticipated. Our subsequent meticulous inspection of the room uncovered more shortcomings: black mold inhabited the shower area, posing a severe health and safety risk. Furthermore, the water tap, when operated, emitted a noise so intrusive that it had the potential to disrupt the slumber of other guests within proximity. These occurrences were not only inconvenient but also reprehensible, considering the supposed standing of the hotel. Our concerns, articulated at check-out, were met with assurances of a full refund for the inconveniences suffered. Despite this promise, the refund is yet to materialize, adding to our grievances. Our stay at SANT JORDI was marred by unacceptable cleanliness standards, glaring maintenance oversights, and unfulfilled promises, all incongruent with the hotel's purported stature. We left feeling deceived and distressed, far from the rejuvenating experience we sought. It's imperative for prospective guests to approach with caution and for the management to institute immediate rectifications, lest the hotel’s reputation suffers irreversible damage. Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆

Mi esposo y yo nos alojamos en el pack de escapada gastronómica de este hotel de Cataluña y fue una experiencia inolvidable. Desde el momento en que llegamos, nos sentimos muy acogidos y cómodos en nuestra habitación lujosa y espaciosa. Pero lo mejor de todo fue la comida. La experiencia gastronómica ofrecida por el hotel es simplemente impresionante, con platos deliciosos y variados que destacan la riqueza culinaria de la zona del Maresme. Los ingredientes eran frescos y el personal de la cocina siempre estaba atento a nuestras necesidades. Además, el personal del hotel en general fue muy amable y servicial, siempre dispuesto a ayudarnos en cualquier momento. En general, mi esposo y yo recomendamos encarecidamente este pack de escapada gastronómica a cualquier pareja que busque una experiencia culinaria única y relajante cerca de Barcelona. Sin duda, volveremos en el futuro.

Firstly upon our arrival our room wasn't ready, all inclusive you are given a plastic card in return at bar ur given a plastic glass with chosen drink, u must then return your glass in exchange with a card! (Wristbands easier)as a party of 4 we felt as all.inclusive we was looked down on, no table service unless your paying! After 11pm all Inc stops......$8.50 for a gin.....discusting in my opinion. There's an older bar man and the rudest man I've ever met! Reception staff not over friendly. Witnessed a toddler near drowning.....life guard was on his phone! Both pools are really cold! Rooms are dated but cleaned daily( cleaners where polite) food was okish...hotel was predominatly french and Germans whom were very rude and arrogant, not many English holiday makers. Entertainment was appalling and 1 evening it kicked off with families due to rude families standing infront of stage! Not many sunbeds for the ground pools we found out you have to que of a morning to get a bed the floor surrounding the pool is very slippy ( many slips and falls) lifts are really slow with 1ift broken for 2 dys. I would not recommend this hotel and wished I'd have read reviews prior to booking. Rooms also have no insulation could hear nxt rooms talking!
