My friend and I booked an afternoon tea for ourselves and our 6 year old daughters. What an experience it was... the girls were treated like princesses. The service was fantastic, and the staff were so good with the girls, even offering them an ice cream at the end! The food was beautifully presented and tasted incredible. A great variety. The scones were spot on, and the girls were so excited with the cakes. Youssef was fantastic and attended to all our needs, we told him on the way out it was the best afternoon tea we have ever had. I can't recommend this place enough,.. beautiful surroundings, gorgeous food and a wonderful experience for us and the girls.

I had a business meeting in the restaurant and food and drinks were amazing! Fabio was our bartender and he made me the best negroni that I ever had! He was friendly and really professional. We will come back for sure!

I was a little sceptical after reading the reviews and the hotel not being my own choice due to work booking. I was glad that in the main my worries were proved room. My check in experience was brilliant. After a very long journey I was greater by the amazing Alesha! What an absolute credit to Radisson! Smile happy greeting and answered my questions well. Unfortunately my room service experience wasn't great at all. Nearly an hour for burger and chips and when it did arrive fhe chips were stone cold and burger not cooked properly. After speaking to Alesha she could not do enough to apologise and rectify the issue and if it was not for her this review would have not been what it was, not the star rating! Breakfast was lovely and the events staff were super helpful too, mention to Engne who was very attentive and explained the room set up very well. Please Radisson, recognise the hard work of Alesha. She truly is a gem! Thank you for making my stay a lovely one Alesha. I think you're fab!

Superb hotel, conference venue and the location and grounds are beautiful. Stayed overnight in a single room for a work event. As organisers the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Great facilities, lots of chill out areas and seating outside. My room was delightful, small super comfy double, nice bed linen, modern design, spotlessly clean, windows that opened (essential), contemporary bathroom, toiletries, fluffy towels, tea and coffee facilities and water. I loved the way the room design incorporated the stunning original features. I particularly appreciated the vintage bathroom door knob. The food was good, and there was lots of water available. The lunch was particularly delicious, tasty salads and authentic spicy dishes. The catering staff are particularly attentive, polite and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for business events and as a hotel.

well what can I say. from start to finish it was perfect. the ladies in reception were so welcoming and friendly! they made sure we knew what we were doing and where we were going. the building is lovely, clean and welcoming. the staff at the pool bar were friendly and helpful. the room was gorgeous and had everything you could ever need. the spa was clean and relaxing😍 we had an evening meal where Michael served us, he was lovely! so kind, friendly and funny. made us feel so welcomed and at home. Was so helpful! he is a gem! the food was to die for and left feeling so full and content. i cant give this place enough praise! 10/10 and will definitely be back. such great value and a gorgeous venue and amazing staff !

The hotel is listed four stars, on the south side of the train station, and the city center is in the opposite direction. The parking lot is unknown. The hotel facilities are old, the room has no air conditioning, the bed has no charging jack, the room is still big, no extra bed. Suitable for taking children! There is an English breakfast, but we didn't eat it! Overall cost performance in general! Not as good as the Hampton Inn in York the day before.

I have stayed at the hotel so long it's clear that it feels like home and I can honestly they they don't go less than above and beyond to help you feel at ease and at home I have not one complaint to make other than, can't you just let me live there guys xx 🥰 Helen on the desk is one of the loveliest people you'll probably encounter and if there's an issue they try their best to deal with it in a favourable manner so that you don't feel awkward or embarrassed, well once they know you better, you'll have to remember how many people they all deal with minute by minute and they aren't all reasonable, understanding or rationale but they all seem to keep their cool and keep a light humour to the situation which is lovely xx

This was definitely a mixed visit. On arrival we were checked in quite quickly receptionist was firmly enough although the reception desk itself seemed more like an information hub then a check in desk so the initial walk in was a bit confusing for me and my partner who don't stay in many hotels.. the one main thing that I noticed in the reception area is just through a set of double doors towards what would seem to be a fitness studio with an overlook of the pool had a chair with quite a nasty looking stain picture included. On arrival into the room things seemed clean tidy and presentable although there were a couple of things that could have been better for example one normal sized towel and 3 hand towels wasn't great and 2 towels would have been better, the toilet roll was very basic and clearly the cheaper stuff which you wouldn't so much expect when staying at a village hotel, there was a tile missing on the bathroom floor with a questionable amount of dust and dirt inside and around this hole and finally the doorframe seemed to be hanging off pictures of this are included. We had a look at the restraunt menu and it's safe to day if you don't fancy a burger, salad or chicken wings you will have to make other arrangements as we did by visiting the local residence 74 cafe about a mile away where we had a lovely time great food and a reasonable meal price. The bar is quite an open space and at first a bit confusing as there are some cinema chairs and big tvs but only playing the news. We had a drink I'm the evening this was probably priced for the venue but at £15 for a single vodka and lemonade and a double whisky we decided on only one when we found out that the bar closed for residents at 11pm which we found a bit early as other places stay open for residents. Room service would have been an option but from what I read this finished at 9.30pm and the is no in room phone to order such. Sleep was comfortable and sheets were clean it was just very hot as the window barely opens, there was no fan provided and no aircon. The TV also says its an Internet TV but upon attempt of connection no services were available. This morning the hotel seemed alot calmer and relaxed, we weren't sure of the breakfast procedures at all so we just sat down and were asked our room number but my partner got quite frustrated as she is autistic and no clear instructions were given it took us a while to source out breakfast and when we did we noticed it was very limited consisting of mushroom scrambled egg starnge potato circles beans tomatoes sausage and bacon. Honestly for me hash Brown's and black pudding are staples of English breakfast and should always be included when possible but unfortunately they were unavailable. I was going to ask a staff member but only one was seen briefly. There was also a High table next to us that was very dirty and when the staff member went to clean she simply sprayed it didn't wipe it and moved on, this didn't seem very hygienic. Breakfast was very average the addition of streaky bacon and chipolata sausages as opposed to tradition thick sausages and back bacon seemed very odd and definitely not our cup of tea! Coffee was not good atall however they do have a starbucks with is great because we do enjoy it. The night receptionist seemed to keeping a very close on me without speaking I found this quite lntimidating as a hotel guest and would have preferred him to ask me any concerns he had other than staring at me until I awkwardly said hello in which he just smiled and looked away briefly until I did then followed me with his eyes towards the stairs and no doubt watched me on camera until I entered my room. Overall a fair experience perfect I guess if you just need a quick room and have to extra money to burn but not ideal for us so probably wouldn't return.

Every member of staff couldn’t have been more helpful from the minute I walked in the door and you can tell it wasn’t a script. Gorgeous food at dinner and breaks fast was piping hot. Room had 2 double beds, spotless. I’ll always stay here now when I’m in our Leeds office

The hotel was great and well located to get into the centre of Leeds. Nice views on the canal from the room, the room was spacious with good amenities. We got given breakfast with our booking which was lovely. We also got a free late checkout too.
