Lovely hotel in a great location for exploring Cartagena. Reception were really friendly and helpful and the room was beautiful. Very modern and nicely fitted out. We also had a kettle in the room with teas & coffees and a fridge. Would definitely book this hotel again.

We were booked in to stay 2 nights at this hotel. However, early on the morning of our first night someone entered our room and woke us up. We screamed and they left. We spoke to the manager who wasn't able to confirm who it was - we don't think it was housekeeping as they didn't knock first, and if it was what were they doing coming into our room so early? The manager didn't seem to think it was a problem that her hotel might have thieves or worse breaking into the guest rooms. Avoid at all costs.

This hotel is located at a residential district, near the exit motorway, it is about five minutes drive from Los Alcázares city centre and beach, twenty minutes drive from Cartagena, it's a perfect point to stay if you want to visit Calblanque Beaches. If you drive, there are plenty of parking lots outside the hotel, you don't need to park in the hotel. Room is big, and there is a balcony for you to enjoy the sunshine.

Very good in general, good treatment, cleanliness, room size, quiet location, parking is good, beaches nearby, La Manga and Cartagena 25 minutes by car To improve, sound of air in the room, and the pool water could be a little cleaner

Firstly we would not say this is a 4 star hotel, possibly a 2 star however, we paid €60 per night (plus €15 per night parking) in mid July for a double room on the 6th floor and we thought it was good value for money. The good things first, staff were exceptionally friendly with the front desk always manned. Our room was large and airy with good air con and the bed very large and comfortable. Location is perfect for the town centre which is a 10 to 15 minute stroll away. Things to improve on …. The allocated hotel spaces in the underground parking are exceptionally tight - if you have a car bigger than a Ford Focus you will probably struggle to park here. Despite exchanging emails on different subjects before our visit they never told us that improvement work was being carried out on the hotel; you don’t even get told on your check in - there is just a sign in the lift. Consequently, when we were woken up in the morning at 9am with the sound of jack hammers we were not impressed. Our room on the top (6th) floor was very dated and certainly looked nothing like the rooms shown on their websites. The double glazing had no effect in stopping outside street noises especially the street sweeper at 6 am. The bathroom is not vented nor has an openable window, there are no cups or glasses of any type supplied in the room; free tea and coffee is available in the foyer. There is no bar or restaurant in the ‘4 star’ hotel though a continental breakfast can be purchased. So, would we go back or recommend this hotel - strangely yes if the price stays the same and they complete the renovations.

Room space and hotel's position are great. Personnel is kind and professional, wifi included in the price is of good quality (although it requires to login again and again...). The service is proportional to the price, in the room there is an empty fridge, free coffee/the is in the lobby. Breakfast is just ok. Overall I was satisfied

The hotel was clean, in the room lacked the coffee shop as it was in the description. The large bed, the pad a little hard, the nice coats. The regular bathroom, we ordered a shower but we got the bathroom. The hotel has a very good location and is very comfortable and very comfortable. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable.

The photos display on the website of this hotel are not from this hotel. The hotel doesn’t have swimming pool and it is not closed to the beach either. Hotel is very modern and it is good for a 3 starts hotel, they have even minibar in the rooms but the beds are not comfortable for me, the mattress are not hard enough and you feel you are downing in. The shower is really good tho! The staff from the reception should be more friendly and welcome the guest nicer. No nice touch upon arrival nor when we did the check out. Hotel is ok for 1 night stay and if you dont plan to stay in the room too long.

Foto zeigt Willkommenswasser.

Firstly don’t make the same mistake we did this and believe this is a 5 star hotel it isn’t. No Air Con No hot water then no water at all Rude Staff Party's until 3am We arrived on the 13th march around 7pm, upon check in we was offered no help with our luggage which straight away screens out 4 star at best, but this did not bother us and wouldn’t of even mentioned it if it wasn’t for the rest of the issues. Once we had taken all our bags to the room we decided to go for some food in the restaurant, the food itself is good, but the service is horrendous the staff have no personality and remind you of a prison warden on a tv show and we had to pay right away, usually all the hotels I’ve stayed in it’s charged to your room. The next morning my wife went for a shower and the water was freezing cold so I called reception, they said they was going to fix it and they did and as a result we ended up with no water at all, eventually they sorted this issuer out by the time we returned form our day out. When we returned to the hotel the weather was beautiful so we switched the air conditioning on, but it was warm, I called reception they said they would talk to maintenance, but I heard nothing so asked again a few hours later and they said it was turned off as they was expecting cold weather soon, I’ve never heard such rubbish, I was told to use the ceiling fan, but this thing sounds like a plane taking off and we paid for a presidential suite and the fan is only in the bedroom, this made the room very stuffy and therefore you had no choice but to sleep with the patio doors open which is great if you like listening to dogs barking all night The rest of the week we just used room service and sunbathed on our balcony which was ideal as we never had to sit in the restaurant with the prison guards. Our last night here was the worse and I’ve never experienced something so bad from a hotel in my life. They had a wedding outside the hotel and it was so loud you would think the wedding was in your room, kids running about screaming like they was being murdered right next to the pool and the staff just watched and did nothing, a blatant disregard for health and safety and no respect for other guests

This was a surprise stay arranged by my mother for my birthday. My daughter, mum and daughter shared the presidents suite. It was a lovely room with rose petals and a bottle of cava. There was a jacuzzi bath and a massive shower. However, the air con didn’t work that well and the shower was very slippery. It is a little dated with a musty smell which wasn’t pleasant. The pool area was gorgeous but the staff let this hotel down. For a five star hotel, the service was atrocious. The main restaurant staff just couldn’t care less and the club house staff never came and took our order. We had to order, sit down and keep asking for the same things I.e. ice, ashtray etc. really not good. This is a golf hotel but it doesn’t excuse golfers coming back from playing all day and getting in the pool with all their sweaty clothes and no one stopped them. We had a spa package which was ok but no treatments were included and the jacuzzi had a huge delay in all its switches. The steam room didn’t work and the sauna was ok. I really enjoyed the pub and the ambience and loved spending time with family but they need to up their game, and particularly staff attitude to get a 5 star rating.

Positive: The hotel has a beautiful ”old atmosphere”. Most of the general space on the first floor (where we stayed) I personally found very atmosphereally decorated. The hotel room itself was also applied to the ”sphere”. Lifts in place. Free parking on the street. Great tram connection to the centre of Granada (20 minutes) Good breakfast/lunch restaurant next to the hotel! Improvements: Unfortunately, in our room only high windows without view. There were no lamps in the bed lamps, so only a large light in the room. The bathroom has a problem with fungi in kitnadens, which is a very big deal, and I hope that something will be done soon! There was no reception staff behind the check-out bar. We sounded the clock twice and waited a while. Then the key was put through the lock in the screen. (Payment was already arranged).

I rarely give negative reviews but feel the need to so as a warning. I’m afraid the attitude of the management of this hotel left a lot to be desired, and I feel was particularly negligent. After I had a nasty fall in our bedroom- caused by water on the floor which I had reported earlier - the management/ owner failed a) to produce an accident book despite repeated requests, b) to show any concern, or check whether I was okay in the days following, c) to honour compensation promised at the time of the accident and d) to respond to my later emails. This is not a reflection on the rest of the staff working there - they were all lovely to us especially Carmen.

Welcoming with very good views and very good treatment I would certainly recommend it and I will go back

We spent 5 nights in room 330 and loved it. We had the biggest bed I have ever been in, an enormous bathroom on the quiet side of the hotel, big windows with quite a nice view. The room felt like a home from home, was kept spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. One of the best and unexpected things is that the hotel has a cafe/restaurant attached called La Posada which is open to non residents and plenty of Spanish people pop in for morning coffee or to meet their friends so you feel part of the life of the country around you. We didn't plan to have breakfast at the hotel but it turned out to be the best option because the choice and atmosphere was so good. We ate supper on 3 of the 5 evenings in La Posada and would thoroughly recommend it for quality and value for money. This hotel is under 10 minutes walk to the famous harbour, minutes from the bus station and a very easy walk to all the main tourist attractions. It is at the edge of the old port city so you get the best of both old and new worlds. This hotel suited us perfectly because we like to be in a hotel which feels local/family run and feels a part of the community around it. If you have dinner in the hotel I would recommend the seasonal salad to start and one of the fish options for the main course. PS We flew into Murcia International airport and the most practical way to get to Cartagena & the hotel is a taxi for around 45 euros which takes under 30 minutes. There is a big taxi rank when you step outside the airport.
- Guest User
The hotel is well located, walking distance from attractions and the centre, with private parking(12€/day), clean rooms, not the great luxury, but everything you need is there. Breakfast in the hotel itself as well as the possibility of dining at democratic prices at the afternoon and evening. Why then just 3 stars, very simple we had great problems with the WiFi, more than not, maybe it came through poorly located room( 324)? Very official if you want to visit attractions, we were almost obliged to go to the seat room to have good WiFi. According to the service, it was on our devices? But 2 smartphones and 2 iPads with the same problem?? Well...
