The room could have been cleaned better than it was. The bathroom wall had water stains or some type of stains on the wall. The tub was clogged causing the water not to drain when taking a shower. The couch is very hard and uncomfortable. I asked to have the room clean and the only thing that was done was towels were replaced. The beds were not made up. The beds were comfortable. I like the two bedrooms in the suite we stayed in. The location is good. Its located close by shopping centers, restaurants, Starbucks etc. The staff was very nice and greeted us with open arms. I would say overall the property is ok but needs some updating.

I stayed at the Brent House on two occasions, each for three nights and four days. The hotel while not in a scenic location itself t is near the levee and once on the levee you have the view of the Mississippi River. The hotel is ten minutes from shopping and dining if you choose not to grab the cafeteria style food offered in the atrium. There is also a PJ's coffee shop in the atrium. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Each room had the usual microwave and refrigerator. We had a pleasant stay.

I rarely ever post a negative review but it is definitely warranted here. I booked this hotel back in 2021 with my choice credit cardfor a once in a lifetime trip to the final four. Last week I found out I was coming in a day later but changing the days would have almost doubled the overall rate so I left it as was; telling the hotel I was arriving a day late but still pay for the 1st night. They agreed and indicated they would put a note on the reservation so they didn’t give the room away. Day I arrived I called hotel and said I would arrive a couple hours early so wanted to ensure early check in. Was transferred to manager who said he gave away my room. Turns out since I booked so long ago, credit card was expired. They called me night before but left me no message. They said they did but they absolutely didn’t. Checked my phone, I did find a message the manager sent at 11:21 saying the they would give away room in 30 minutes if I didn’t call back in 30 minutes with my new choice credit card. I was just coming off my flight so I call at 11:36 (35 minutes later) and manager said too late, room cancelled, no other rooms& could provide no other recourse. Said he was not going lose $250 @night since I booked early & got a low rate, so he rebooked at a much higher rate. I am a long time choice rewards member and use choice Visa card. Manager did not care and offered zero assistance to helping to find a room at a choice partner hotel. My once in a lifetime trip to final four was ruined. Customer service at its absolute worse.
