Mardius History House gave us a dream holiday. They made us feel like the owner of the House, like one of our families. We thank all friends in the services of Fast Bean, Dilber Lady, Mahmut Bean and others. The hotel is a 10/10 aesthetically however the challenge starts entering into the hotel. There are about 100 steps uphill and zero vehicle access into the vicinity of the hotel. Reception staff 10/10 two of the staff members met us at the car park about 500meters away and carried our suitcases to the hotel room. Check in was a breeze and the staff were very friendly attentive and extremely nice 10/10 Our hotel room was extremely authentic, clean and mesmerising 10/10. Bathroom was the biggest problem. Cosmetically 10/10 however practicality 2/10. You couldn’t swing a cat. I’m small so I could move around freely but for a bigger person GOOD LUCK. The hand towel hoop ended up on the floor. The hand basin very pretty was small and as a female I had no where to place all my toiletries and hair straightener. I had to place it in the sink. 1/10. The shower well the hand held unit kept falling off its hook and when the shower curtain was closed inside the shower was impossible to see 0/10 extremely claustrophobic. I had to request a iron nil in room. I didn’t realise that the Nescafé machine was used to heat the water for tea. The coffee cups were not replaced back into my room after I left them in the courtyard. Breakfast was the main reason why I gave a 3 star. It was amazing !! Best breakfast ever I mean the BEST. I wondered why I paid so much for This hotel? I think it was for the breakfast spread I paid for. 10/10. Value for money $415aud a night 3/10. Yes it’s a pretty hotel but I seriously don’t believe it’s worth it.

Nicest owner ever! Mr Tarik Altun has been so nice, helpful and client oriented! The atmosphere of old city, real ancient house/rooms ( more than 700 years old) and amazing design makes it a must visit for us. Room is very clean and very comfortable. Hotel located in the center of old Mardin.

The Hotel is really good. The foods are amazing and it’s not that expensive. It’s a good place to stay. The waiters are really welcoming and they behave warmly. Especially Mr. Murat he really makes your day with his smile and jokes. The service is really fast :)

The rooms are big and spacious, and the staff are very attentive. We are sure that the cleaning work has been completed and everything is spotless. They have very friendly staff and we are very satisfied

A very clean room. A welcome, warm and ready to help you. A climated room and hot water available. The hotel is located near all tourist sites in the city. A pleasant stay, I recommend.
