"The hotel is located a very short distance from the Duomo and close to all the key shopping streets. The Duomo subway entrance is 50m away from the hotel. Many good dining options accessible with 15min walking distance. Excellent staff - especially Carlo and Francesco at reception who were both very helpful and went out of their way to ensure a memorable stay. The room was of a good size in spite of the proximity to the Duomo - very clean and with a comfortable bed . The hotel is not easy to locate if one is driving as there are isn’t any prominent signage at the entrance. Very limited space to stop the car in front of the hotel to drop off luggage. The room we had was on the 1st floor facing Via Manzzini for 4 nights. While sound proofing was good, the muffled sound and vibration of passing trams could be heard in the room. The hot water in the shower took a minute or so to get hot. Overall, a wonderful stay - definitely our hotel of choice on our next trip to Milan."

"Breakfast is separately booked with the hotel, and can be delivered directly to the room the next day, 25 euros per person, I booked no extra bed, the hotel location is very good, as soon as the hotel is out, walk to the Milan Cathedral for two minutes on the left, to Milan University This hotel in the center of the church is a good choice and highly recommended"

"We just came back from our Italy trip with our 5 children and we could not have been happier with this hotel. Every aspect of this experience was incredible. The rooms were beautiful and modern with every amenity you would expect from a hotel of this caliber. Beds were very comfortable (they offer rooms with 2 queen beds which worked well for our large family), lavender pillows were amazing, the special touch of the turn down service with hot tea waiting for you after dinner was appreciated, and the staff could not have been more helpful or more pleasant every moment of our stay. Their entire focus is clearly on making their guests happy and comfortable during their stay. We felt this from the moment we walked in until we left for our flight home to Maryland. We only had breakfast at the restaurant and my family felt it was the best breakfast we had enjoyed during out 12 day holiday vacation. We have traveled to Spain, Switzerland, France, and now Italy with our family and we typically stay in luxury accommodations and this by far was our favorite hotel. If you are planning to stay in Milan please look at the Bulgari. You won't be disappointed."
"What an utter disappointment and a classic show of snobbery. I wanted to take my sister for a glass of champagne for her birthday and despite the bar area being COMPLETELY EMPTY, we were told first by one woman that they were only serving lunch to hotel residents (this was at 16:00. Very long lunch service), and maybe we could try back in an hour. Subsequently we were told by another woman that the bar was fully booked all day and night. We pointed out that there was no one there and that it was my sister’s birthday and were met with judgemental looks and whispers between the staff. It was truly horrible. I guess we just didn’t look right, but the way we were treated was not what you would expect from such a highly regarded establishment. We have travelled the world and being treated so impolitely leaves a bad taste. Bad vibes Bulgari. Shame on you. Side note: we ended up at the Bar at the Armani Hotel which was a delightful experience in terms of venue and service, so we feel like won in the end anyway…"
"The Bulgari Hotel is almost hidden at the end of a private, cobble-stone road in the upscale -- mostly residential -- area of Milan behind the Academia di Brera. Approaching it you could easily dismiss for an office building, given the austere facade of this 18th century palace. Once inside, the magic begins. If you are ready to splurge during your next trip to Milan, opt for staying here or visit the exquisitely elegant and modern spa. We had spa treatments -- and then floated in the spa pool -- a perfect urban escape. The ambiance is understated elegance, with top-notch service. See photo of spa pool."

"Excellent location as hotel is opposite the train station. Downside is the room was very dark. The pantry is poorly located in the room with no lights at all. There’s also a lack of sockets like USB plugs or multi adaptor sockets for international travellers. Room was also a bit dusty and certain areas not cleaned well. Breakfast spread was good. "
"Ottimo hotel, abbiamo soggiornato io e la mia ragazza per 1 notte e non posso dire che mi sia dispiaciuto. Ubicato vicino alla stazione centrale e alla metro, la camera era molto bella (peccato si trovasse al secondo piano)."
"Hotel pulito con camere spaziose , prezzo sulla media per un 4 stelle non proprio lussuoso … camera spaziose con tutto il necessario che serve .. hotel e di fornire alla stazione centrale"

"My room was on the ground floor and it has very limited natural light. Facing the Main Street so I can see people passing by on the street. If someone smoke outside, I can smell it too. The location is great but next time I would book a higher category room if I am back."
"Albergo a 200 metri dalla stazione centrale , dieci minuti dal duomo in macchina , stanza spaziosa e ben arredata , bagno spazioso con una buona doccia , qualità prezzo nella norma !! I ragazzi del hotel sempre disponibili e gentilissimi per ogni spiegazione "
"It’s a nice budged hotel for a weekend to explore the city. The hotel is in close walking distance from central train station and subway. About 20 minutes walk from Duomo and other main tourist attractions. Rooms are clean and modern"

"Nice modern and clean hotel, located few meters from train station, was my shortest stay in my life, as I went there to just sleep couple of hours before my train trip at morning, but unfortunately I didn't sleep because the hotel is located in very busy street full of noises and loud pepole talking starting from 4AM, which made me keep requesting the receptionist to change the room but! With no hope because he decided. The hotel it self is very modern and clean with very comfortable bed and new furniture, I can say that I had a relaxing few hours but not sleeping time as I wanted, breakfast was good, the hotel manger offered me another free of charge stay when he knew about my complain, but i never went again to Milan since that day, overall thank you very much for the kind apology.my review based on my stay October 2013."
"Hi all. All rooms as 201,301,401,501... located next to service room at each floor. If you want to seep nicely-it is not a choice, boiler in the next room don't let you to do so.....very loud. Service don't care-wont to change a room and spoke some language in a rude manner, sounds like I am guilty on that. And even TV does not working here. I said complain to reception-reaction was like they wonder... but.... nobody come over, does not fix it or replace batteries. Remote control is not readable at all, all buttons are erased. Nothing good even you want to stay to Central Train Station for the next trim. Try to get som different-here is a lot of hotels in this area.Shower is just crazy-no wall or linen between shower and bowl-all water distributed and filled shower room entire floor. If if you want proceed with shaving-need to wait until floor are dry or dry it yourself with towel.... Unfortunately I booked last minute before travel, without option to cancel or refund..... otherwise I will change entire hotel, not just a room."
"Safe, hygienic and comfortable, 24 hours armed guard near Milan Central Station Square. Reasonable price. It is the high cold of a typical Milanese at the front desk. Honestly, such services are common in Europe. I'm impatient when I speak English, and my lover smiles like a chrysanthemum when I speak Italian, and then I'm very polite ..."

"I really wish they did a 10* Review as hands down this place deserves it. We checked into the Milan Mandrain on Easter Sunday we where early on arrival. Checkin was smooth bags taken care of. We where quickly checked in and our room wasn’t quite ready so we where shown to the outside terrace for a drink while we waited. Around 40 mins later the room was ready i went to pay the bill and was told that was on the hotel as our room wasn’t ready on arrival. This was an excellent touch they made it out like it was their fault when I wasn’t due for a 3pm checkin. This is what I call service exceptional. We then arrived on the 5th floor to our beautiful room with a balcony over looking the city. Room was impeccably clean and stunning layout for a Deluxe King it was larger than it looked online. Finely modern furnishings with practical spaces and good use of it. Housekeeping was spot on couldn’t ask for better folded clothes and left the place spotless. We ate in the hotel for lunch and for dinner and the food was beautifully presented and tasted like it looked. Honestly the staff in this hotel just made the whole experience luxury and effortless. I want to think all the bar and Resturant staff especially for their service and hard work. Along with the entire team that made this Easter weekend extremely unforgettable trip to Milan. We will be back! One other tiny detail they made the best French 75 I’ve ever had!"
"There are no shortages of wonderful hotels in Italy and, really, around the world. I have been fortunate to visit many of them over the years. The Mandarin Oriental Milan may top that list of hotels in customer service. From the check in to the concierge to the restaurant, the hotel staff made you feel special and delivered exceptional service. We had an issue with the room, and not only did the staff provide options, in the end, they upgraded us to another room with ease. The concierge was extremely helpful with good restaurant recommendations, securing museum tickets, and options for site-seeing. The staff at the bar and restaurant were efficient without making you feel at all rushed. All in all, it is clear that the management cares about service and the clientele and has made service a top priority. This is my fourth locational visit with Mandarin Oriental having stayed at the properties in Beijing, New York, San Francisco, and Miami. This is by far the best one."
"To start, Mandarin Oriental is one of our favorite hotel chais, but it was Mandarin Oriental Milan that made us love it more. We stayed (and continue to stay) at Mandarin Milano quite a few times, returning every time because of the prior experience. The understated luxury feels in everything: from Dr.Vranjes scent in the lobby and hallways to the superb service at the reception and by the porters, and by the wonderful restaurant staff. The personalized greeting in the morning, and attention to details deserves a special praise. One of the waiters, Dennis Palmieri, would surprise us by giving us our favorite table or brining a sweet treat in the morning noticing that I always order it. Those little details make us feel home and come back to Mandarin Oriental Milan every time we are visiting this wonderful city. It is truly our home away from home in Milan. Thank you."

"On arrival, the hotel seemed nice enough. The entrance, reception and communal area was decorated nicely and was clean. The hotel is very dark due to the decor which is of course just down to personal taste. On first glance, the room seemed nice and was well equipped with everything needed and acceptably clean. However, the decor was actually rather scruffy and in need of some attention, in particular the bathroom. If we had planned on spending more time in the room other than for sleep and a quick shower I think we would have asked for a different one. The shower was in a state of poor repair - the shower head spurted out in all different directions and actually went over the glass screen, the shower door did not open and close smoothly and needed a good push and pull which had resulted in a very bad job of the hinges being fixed to the wall. It felt like it could be dangerous if pulled too hard, the shower leaked right out along the floor almost to the bathroom door. All the bathroom fixtures and fittings seemed cheap and not what you’d expect in a luxury hotel as described. The toiletries provided appeared to be half full and not replaced for new guests. It also didn’t appear to be cleaned to a high standard. The bed however, was comfortable which is what you need after exploring a city and doing lots of walking. Unfortunately, the air conditioning did not seem to work properly and was stuck at one temperature. The staff however, are a credit to the hotel and all very friendly and helpful which was lovely, especially the staff who were around during breakfast who went the extra mile."
"Please avoid this place AT ANY COST! I had booked two separate nights with Expedia and then I canceled only one night as we were not going to stay in Milan Saturday to Sunday. I am a gold member and stayed at many properties around the world. I was charged the room price directly with Expedia and it was all confirmed. We got to the property and the person who checked us in took a copy of the passports and then showed us to our room. The room was not ready and the bed for the kids was not made. In the bathroom I had discovered toiletries that were half full. The temperature was not measured upon arrival and I did not feel right staying in this room. The front desk person then said there was a problem with our room as we had cancelled and I showed him the reservation with Expedia and that it shows all was good. He then showed us to another smaller room which we also not ready. I then spent 20’ speaking on his own cell phone with a certain Mariana who said that she was informed that the manager did not see the reservation and that they did not work with Expedia since they had reopened. I suggested they speak with Expedia as all was good on my end.The beds were not really comfortable, nor were the pillows. The next day we were told we had to pay again and I said I already had with Expedia. I said it’s unacceptable and then spent one hour calling Expedia who confirmed all was good. Below par sanitation, horrible service and the night before a car was broken into outside the hotel and although I signaled this to the front desk there was no effort to call the police. A joke of a hotel and not worth the luxury title ! Deceitful and disappointing during a time when most hotels try their hardest to make their guests’ stay safe and enjoyable. This is NOT one of them. "
"The hotel itself is very nice. Modern / design stile - spacious rooms / clean / comfortable ( mattresses are really really good ) / big screen TVs / spacious area to work comfortably in the room The staff is very professional, helpful and caring What I love the most is the location: minutes away from the central station, duomo area and many bars and nice restaurants are just a step away I have stayed there already quite a few times and never disappointed me Thanks"

"Super friendly and attentive staff!!! 10/10 Greeted upon arrival, speedy check in process and was escorted directly to my suite and briefly given a tour of all features in the room. Very modern and clean, a superior luxury hotel with all high quality amenities. Breakfast in the first floor lounge/bar area with ceiling to floor panoramic glass view of the century old garden. The entire hotel is the perfect combination of modern and antique interior with rich woodwork and a grand entrance marble staircase and pillars throughout the foyer. Great central location walking distance to the duomo cathedral and main shopping area."
"Out stay was wonderful. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Our room was really pretty, large and quiet. Sleep quality was amazing. The garden was my favorite part of the hotel, it is so peaceful. Breakfast was really good. Service throughout the hotel is friendly and polite. The spa area is really pretty and I had a great pedicure. Can't wait to go back!"
"Chic property that defines chic Milano style. The room was beautiful , nice sized bathroom, with all the latest and greatest in technology. The food at breakfast buffet was wonderful. The spa is amazing, heated pool, hot tub and sauna. Very relaxing chic space in the City. The concierge and all the staff are exceptional. This is my new home in Milano."

"The room on the first floor, the room is quite small, the outside corridor looks very worn, but the inside is very clean and modern. The location is very close to the train station, 10 minutes walk, the bathroom is a little small, the plug is not easy to use, the city tax of 4 euros for each person is needed for the stay, so the price is average, the overall is OK."
"The hotel that came to Milan, the hotel room itself is very clean, there are some, but it is a bit too low cost, more than 600 this price is really bad"
"Hotel Bolzano was fine, I would definitely revisit. Price was ok, location was great, it was clean, staff was kind, I would just like to mention that, there is no just thing as “excessive consumption” of toilet paper. You either go all the way or you don’t."
