Top 10 New Bagan Hotels

The hotel location is in the middle of Pagoda Field with authentic decoration. Cleanroom. Great Food with a variety of choices with wine selections.. Staffs are helpful. Stunning view and golden hours viewpoint tower.

The hotel is far from everything, there is nothing nearby, for example there is no place to go somewhere for dinner in the evening. And you can’t have dinner at the hotel. It’s also far from the road. If you're by car, it's fine. The breakfast is good, the room is ok, just fine for a couple of nights. At the reception they offer to fly in balloons. We took $130 from them. Super! Bagan is absolutely amazing!

We came from Bagan with a private driver that takes about 1 hour. The resort is located directly in the jungle, beautiful. We lived 2 N in the Deluxe Taung Kallat and were very enthusiastic. A huge terrace of tea wood with comfortable wooden furniture and wonderful view of the monastery. The room is very generously equipped and beautiful. Top Queensize sky bed and mosquito net. All very, very clean. Have on 1. Eat in the restaurant and cocktails (gratis) screwed and were not disappointed. Breakfast is very extensive and really offers enough for every taste. Personal is very friendly and helpful! The next day we went the trekking path to the Taung Kallat. From the resort to the top of the monastery you need 1 sun, if you are well walking! Many monkeys, but it is cleaned with a lot of hair, so that you do not walk in monkey cakes, because you don't have to wear shoes or socks. Afterwards we inspected the small, wousy village. Unfortunately there is no beer there, so we searched for the Green Forest restaurant on the way back to Popa Resort. However, the search took almost 2 hours with us, with unsustainable heat. We just passed :-) take a branch towards View Point, then you'll be there in 15 minutes! But pay! Super food, good wines, nice staff and no people! The rise to Mount Popa Resort is going through the jungle trekking very, very fast, about 20 minutes. We have enjoyed the restaurant with the great cocktails and the evening on our wonderful terrace. We can recommend this hotel at 100%! We were very happy!

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to check in early, recommended nearby restaurants and place to visit, and even called the our bus company to confirm our pick up time. Restaurants and small souvenir shops are within walking distance. Breakfast buffet is great, with unlimited coffee and tea. Meals are at the rooftop, with a good view of the nearby pagodas. They also have an in-room massage service - tip: point the type of massage you want from the list so they know the type of massage you want.
