Staff were very helpful. Lovely location. Central to all key locations. Air con spot on. First class breakfast. Well worth putting on your itinerary if travelling from Santander/ Bilbao to the Costas. Car parking was fine ( even with a 4.5m length car). Place was pristine.

We book directly with the hotel we stayed 4 days! We asked for a room at highest floor with a view, (1st bad impression they never replied to my mails! And it's a 4 star hotel!) we reached around 2pm we explained that we sent mail asking for this type of room they said that the baby couldn't fit in the room S facing the street(to me sounded kinda lie) we've got a small tiny room in middle floor and view of a wall inside the hotel !🤬 very disappointed we couldn't se if it was sun or rain if it was day or night...there is no kettle in the room,no tea or coffe... no bathrobe no sleepers(in case you've forgot).. we must even asked for extra towel cuz they didn't put for the baby!! breakfast there was not much choice and I asked for a simple cappuccino they said no.!!.(4 star hotel)😐 We asked late check out ( they charge ,all other 4 star we ve been they all understood with baby it's difficult and they gave us free late c/o) they told us to inform also the receptionist in the morning (4 star hotel, shouldn't they inform themselves?!?!!) There was rainy one day we have a little kid and we ve asked for umbrella and they did not give us( they just gave 3 umbrellas to 2 rooms ppl were together ) unbeliaveable!! Pool on top floor looks good but space it's tiny and pool too.. cannot fit many ppl so you need to go in advance to get a place. Just the position it's good in the center For All the rest I won't advise to anyone😐

The hotel environment is good, but the room is relatively narrow, it is difficult to open large boxes, the air conditioner is not good, it can’t be opened and the difference is within one or two degrees, not far from the cathedral, easy to walk, and there is a second-floor food stall, all kinds of local Good food, there are so many people after 8 o'clock in the evening!

Reviews From Real Travelers
From the reviews I had high expectations of this hotels but, having travelled all over the world, this is one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. First of all, it’s dirty. The cleaners don’t do their job properly and the hotel is filthy. It was almost like the hotel wasn’t cleaned at all. Secondly, the air conditioning in the room doesn’t work and Zaragoza is very hot. So be prepared for no sleep. They keep the room at 21 degrees minimum and you can’t get it lower. It’s unbearable. I had no sleep the entire time I was there. Be careful about the pool. They make a big thing about advertising the pool but it’s only open a few months of the year. Finally, the staff are very rude. I tried to complain about the above but they simply didn’t want to listen. They were very aggressive, particularly front desk representative Angel. Even the General Manager’s response was rude and aggressive which reflects very badly on the Melia brand. Not sure if this particular hotel is Melia owned or managed but the service is not what you would expect from this brand. Many of the Trip Advisor reviews are false. Look it for the small number of reviews. All in all, one to avoid.

We spent two nights at the hotel, in a loft room. The hotel has recently been renovated inside, and works were still ongoing on the facade in May 2023, yet, we didn't experience any noise or other impact. The room was spacious and very nice, with a big bathtub and large windows facing a rather busy street. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walking to the town's center, and about 15 minutes to the main square and the river. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Their rooftop is nice, but there was too much wind in May to really enjoy it.

The breakfast is very good, the freshly squeezed orange juice is very good, the fruit bread and the local ham are also very good, the breakfast can get full marks, the hotel is an old hotel, so the facilities are still relatively old, the suites are not very spacious, but the lobby is very grand and the restaurant is good . The room is just average.

There is ** next to the hotel. The location in the city center is quite convenient. The fritters for breakfast are delicious and not bad.

This small but charming Boutique hotel has everything you need to have a great stay in Zaragoza- Its clean, comfortable, inexpensive, and centrally located! We stayed in a small but comfortable double bed room with spectacular views of the Church and main square. Loved the quirky artistic decor, front desk staff very polite and pleasant, gave us useful tips and were friendly and accommodating. Tourism office right next door, lots of shopping and great restaurants all around- we only stayed one night but we made the most of our time there. Very walkable and good bus/taxi system if you need it. The Pilar Plaza Hotel was a great choice and I highly recommend - as well as the City itself- Zaragoza is a wonderful place to visit!!

Great location, facing the Nuestra Señora del Pilar and right next to an underground carpark (special tarifs for clients). Our room literally looked onto the Basilica and was very confortable and super clean. Lots of choice for breakfast including gluten free and lactose free products. The staff were really helpful and kind.

Its a great location but its too dark the hotel inside.

Nada recomendable.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. The location was incredible - around 5 mins from ‘el tubo’ tonnes of amazing different local tapas restaurants. Room was comfy, clean, had a big door you could look out over the street Would come again :)

Very well located, great common areas, good rooms, could be bigger but confortable. The bar at the lobby is quite nice and atmospheric. Price a little above for the city offer but worth the stay. Parking available through neighbor hotel costing 18€ per night.

We wanted an hotel that was close to all the main attractions and offered guaranteed secured parking. This hotel ticked both boxes. Parking is on 3 levels under the hotel building. Level -3 is easy to access and was quieter than the other 2. There is a lift at Level -3 that will take you directly to the hotel reception and then onto your room. When arriving remember the hotel's signage does not mention ”Silken”. Location could not be any better and we left our car in the garage for the duration of our visit. We didn't even find the need to take a tram or taxi, given how close everything was. Our bright clean room was large and on the quiet side of the hotel, 5 floors up. Remember this is a city and there will be a little outside noise. Nothing that worried us though. There was a good size safe, Mini bar and TV but strangely no Tea & Coffee making facilities. The only other comment on the room would be their strange choice of ”privacy glass” on the bathroom door. Maybe a rethink is required? Breakfast was good with a wide choice to, I suspect, suit most guests. Both Staff and guests seemed to be observing Covid protocols. Finally a couple of tips. Consider booking one or two visits in advance, such as a tower visit. If you are an oldie, remember to carry i/d as many attractions offer OAP/ Seniors discounts. Enjoy your visit.

The hotel's location is very good. Several important attractions are within walking distance. The rooms are clean and the area is really not small. I originally placed an order when I booked it. As a result, I saw Ctrip and it was 15 euros cheaper. Reorder
