Top 10 Saint-Pierre Hotels

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. Overall, we 've stayed several times in 4 star hotels at other locations, the level at Réunion seems to be lower anyhow. Compared to other hotels in la Réunion, Palm Hotel seemed to be the better one: better maintained, more stylish, more service from the staff. We received an upgrade to a junior suite, which was a really pleasant surprise as it came with a hottub outside, an extra room/bed and an outside shower. Definitely, this contributed to the positive overall experience. The hotel is beautifully located, although no direct access to the beach below. For the brave, there is an adventurous path downhill (and back up again afterwards) which I did two times. Not to try if you have no proper shoes nor long pants! But if you do this, you can continue to hike up to the ”cap” which delivers magnificent views and I definitely recommend. When we booked this hotel, a shuttle service was posted, although i didnt see it. Staying here we opted for the half board, which we wouldnt do again if we would have known. Personally, we dont have to fine dine ”french cuisine” every day, we would have rather opted for a light salad or something. This was our main challenge at this hotel: lunch as well as dinner offered very few ”light” options, basically there were almost no salads or a light pasta on neither menus. The only option for lunch or light dinner that remained were the tapas (they were very good!). We missed truly, during our entire trip at Reunion, ”light” dishes with vegetables. So my recommendation would be Palm hotel to think about offering for lunch and dinner some international, ”summery” dishes also, for those not interested in duck, foie gras, fish or beef on a daily basis. Dont misunderstand me, the food was good, it was just too heavy for our way of living.

This is a great hotel for travelers who want to sleep in Saint-Pierre downtown. It is perfectly well located, 2mn walk from the sea front and all its activities. They also offer a complimentary underground parking which is very appreciated in the city. The rooms are well furnished and modern. Also we selected the studio so we could enjoy the kitchenette on the balcony. The pool is very small (don’t expect to swim there) but cosy and appreciated for a relax moment with the bar nearby. There is however one big pain point to this hotel: the restaurant ventilation. All rooms located south are just over it! When enjoying the balcony, it is therefore very noisy and smells fried food a lot all day long. This is very disturbing and I would advise any visitor to ask a street-facing room to avoid it.

The staff (from the reception to the restaurant, the site manager, the housewife or the gardener) are extremely pleasant, laughable and serviceable. Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel durant nos vacances de juillet, suite à une mauvaise expérience dans un établissement type location de maison lors de notre arrivée sur l'île la veille. A l'accueil, Nicolas nous a accueilli très chaleureusement et nous a mis tout de suite en confiance; il nous a surtout ”sauvé” nos vacances. Au niveau de l'établissement, un hôtel au top avec une belle chambre et son côté enfant un peu excentré, une belle salle d'eau et une clim en prime qui fonctionnait très bien. Au niveau du personnel, rien à redire, des personnes aux petits soins pour chacun de nous 3. Lors de notre séjour, nous avons appris que notre fille avait des intolérances alimentaires et dès connaissance de ceci, le personnel a tout fait pour que cette dernière ne manque de rien avec adaptation du petit déjeuner et des plats au restaurant. Le plus est le fait de voir les baleines lors de notre réveil. Bref, rien à redire sur cet hôtel dans lequel nous reviendrons avec plaisir lors de notre prochain séjour sur l'île.

Lindsey hotel was Great. The room was very clean and modern and we had a great balcony to enjoy our evening wine. Location was also perfect for us. Very quiet, yet walking distance to all the restaurants. Staff was superb. We realized we left some things in our St Denis Hotel. They offered to go get them for us. We did it ourselves, but how awesome! I’d love to come back
