The hotel is not in the ancient city of Toledo, but is suitable for people travelling by car. The hotel has a large open space for parking and no charge. The hotel has an open environment. The floor where we live opens the balcony door, which is the green space. The view is wide and unobstructed, overlooking the ancient city. The hotel has a good breakfast and a la carte dinner at the restaurant in the evening. The quality of the food is also high, although the consumption is not low. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to and from the ancient city. Although it is not close, it is not very far.

Very satisfied! Will stay again next time! Breakfast is great! Suitable for self-driving, free parking, not far from the ancient city.! Far away from the ancient city, the scenery is pleasant... The favorite hotel of this trip

This is the first time we have stayed in a Parador and based on this experience it won't be the last. The hotel's location is magnificent, set on a hillside overlooking the old city of Toledo but with easy access from the Autovia. Check in was a pleasant experience and later when we needed help printing our barding passes the guys on the desk certainly went out of their way to help. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of cheeses, meats and fish. Cooked options were available but we were more than happy with the buffet. The view from the breakfast room is outstanding. Finally I come to the room. We had treated ourselves to a Junior Suite which consisted of a bedroom, a sitting room and a large bathroom with both a walk in shower and a sunken bath. Each window gave the wonderful view of the city both by day and at night when the main buildings are floodlit. As well as coffee there were complementary soft drinks and water in the fridge together with a couple of tins of nuts. Check-out was not until 12 and we would have lingered until then had we not had a flight to catch.

A very nice hotel, with breathtaking views over the city. Easy parking. You need a taxi to get to the city, unless you're feeling very fit. Overall the hotel is very accessible (except for the swimming pool!), but level access to bar or restaurant is via the terrace (lift down to terrace), or via a small platform lift at the entrance. But overall, pretty good. Room 415, where we stayed, is very good for access - bathroom properly equipped. It has a balcony with great views.

The room is very large, the parking lot is behind the hotel, the hotel is not far from the ancient city, it can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. There is also a shortcut to the bus station in the distance.

Breakfast is rich, there is a paid parking lot, but the entrance is small, the people with bad skills are difficult to get in and out, and the location is excellent.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pintor El Greco hotel in Toledo! Great location within easy walking distance of all the historical places and stunning sights around the city. We stayed in the heritage section of the property with original beamed ceilings and features. Nice modern upgrades to the spacious room - comfortable bed. We only stayed one night and did not get the chance to enjoy the restaurants onsite - but did go up to the rooftop balcony for the night sky and city views - spectacular! We met the Hotel Manager Cristina Hernandez Gines at check out and enjoyed a lovely conversation about our family in Salamanca and Alicante. We would definitely return again to explore more of Toledo and would stay here for sure! Heather and Emile Fuchs

The hotel is in the old town, it is very convenient to go everywhere, there is private parking, but reservations are required, 23 euros per day. It's clean and the service is good. Just ask for a good way when driving in. Drive along the road by the river. Never drive into the old town.

Centrally located in historic old town Toledo. On the main road and easy to access via taxi, driving, or walking. I loved the decor, modern amenities within the shell of an old building. Shower was amazing, and the water was hot. Opted for the included breakfast, which offered everything you need to fuel up for a day on the town. One thing to note - it is an old building and there is ONE climate control for the entire building, it's either set to AC or heat depending on the season and you don't get to choose. Opening the windows is an option, but you are in the city and it's loud outside. Probably not an issue unless you're traveling on the cusp of the season. I had no problem sleeping with the windows open, but did hear several guests complaining during our stay.

Toledo is built on a tall hill. Most of the sights are at the top. The Hotel Abad is half way up the hill, so there is a fair bit of walking up and down to be done. If you are fit you'll be fine, but you should definitely be aware. My room was cool and nicely appointed. I was on my motorbike when I arrived, and after parking outside the door there was some trouble because the buses on the main road couldn't get past. This could have been avoided with some prompt help and direction from the staff. If you are arriving by bike or car, park in the little cobbled square to the side of the Hotel and avoid the embarrassment.

Very easy to find. Parking opposite, paying at some times. Paid hotel parking. Very clean during a pandemic but all 4 pillows smelled of greasy heads. Covers were clean but pillows had not been washed or replaced. The room could not have been smaller! 526. The shower was in the bath which for older guests is difficult to get into and slippery. Should be given a choice of walk in shower. Lighting was very poor, difficult to read in bed. We have good eyesight! Staff friendly. Excellent choices at breakfast.

My husband and I drove back from Portugal and decided that we were going to stop off in Toledo. We stayed at this hotel. What an amazing hotel it is. And the prices are very affordable. The building is beautiful (architecture). Felt like we were in a tiny castle. The staff welcomed us (we came a bit late). They suggested where we go to eat (local food with the locals)at that time, they even explained the rules and closing times etc re that city during this time and corona restrictions. The room we stayed in was amazing. View of the whole city. We had an amazing terrace/patio.We were taken aback by the view we had. The bathroom was big-commodities included-soap etc. Bidet included. Heating was good. Modern furnishings. In the winter the floors are normally cold in Spain (throughout), this hotel was almost as if they had floor heating (who knows). It has a very warm, cozy feeling to it. The bed was comfortable and extra linen provided. Internet worked well. This hotel should be a 4 or 5 star hotel. A short walk into the city, the location is absolutely perfect. Adriana and all at reception were friendly and helpful. Now that we have discovered this hotel, we will be back for sure. Thank you sooo very much for the hospitality displayed Los Cigarrales, keep up the great work. Perfect!!! Now go....book!! :)

The hotel was very good for accommodation**** in Toledo. Room spacious , with a large bathroom , very comfortable bed and extraordinary cleaning. The room had good views of the city. Parking right in front of the hotel. The girl with a very pleasant reception. It is located outside the city.
