"Janet, the staff person at the desk upon check in, was very welcoming and friendly. The hotel offers free parking outside or in a parking garage under the hotel, which is a nice touch. The location is very convenient to downtown sites, restaurants, etc. We walked from the hotel to the Washington Pavilion for a show--it was maybe a half mile away. The hotel is clean. We had a view of the river. That, and the greenway walking path, would be a nice extra when the temperatures are not sub-zero! The only real drawback for me was the mattress. I expected something a bit nicer. It was hard. Not firm, but hard. Like "I could feel the springs" hard. Otherwise, I have no complaints."
"Friendly staff that have been around for awhile and they take pride in their job! Great amenities with a Crave restaurant, Starbucks and fitness center. Great location in the heart of downtown with easy access to nice walkways and restaurants and plenty of parking."
"I was surprised both at the size of this Hilton Garden Inn, but also how great everything was about it. Great rooms (although they lack adequate USB charging), great restaurant on the premises (Curve) and a wonderfully friendly and engaging staff."

"I am giving this hotel 5 stars! We made our reservation late yesterday night & called this morning to see if they could let us check in early because my husband works overnight. They were super friendly and said yes we could. When we checked in, they gave us the room location we wanted & asked for and was super friendly...then we got to our room (which was very nice) and wanted to go check out the pool area and my kids were THRILLED when we saw it. We went to the front and asked how much extra it is for a pool side room and they quoted a rate. I asked if there was anything better that could be done for a COVID travel nurse & we are the highest members with best western...let me just say that Cindy (I think that was her name) & the rest of the staff went above and beyond for us. We will forever be best western members. They are always reasonably priced and customer service is almost always incredible. Thank you so much for your help best western!!"
"We checked in last minute after arriving at a previously booked hotel that turned out to be awful. The from desk was great at helping us check in on a reservation I actually made from my phone in their parking lot. Had a clean, comfortable room with a comfortable king bed. Room for our air mattress for the kids since at the time few rooms were left so we were fine with the single king. Second night we used the pool and water park. Excellent! Loud and crowded but it was a weekend do I expected that. My kids enjoyed it and can't wait to go back. Only issue was the door to the outside/parking lot in room 1081 the threshold was missing and the door jam was warped so it was hard to open and close that door and there was a gap underneath that cold air or leaves/bugs might have been able to come through. Minor maintenance issue they may want to check on, but overall, it wouldn't keep us from coming back."
"My review is only for a one night stay, but it was a fine one. I can only compare the stat to the other BW I’ve stayed in the past few days. Room is on the smaller side but it does do its purpose. The heating is good, but it did get loud that we shut it off before going to bed. Beds were comfy, shower was good, no real complaint. Only two negative, 1- heard people in the hall at 5:30am, not hotels fault. Two, the lighting isn’t that great, there is additional lighting towards window, but the switch to turn on & off is by the door, so you have to go to the opposite side of the room to deal with lights. Should have some kind of switch over by window or by bed(s). Other than that, our stay was good. Oh, the bathroom door slides, so it can be loud if not a careful/ quiet person. "

"Arrived Friday night and if we didnt have invitations out for a birthday party we would have found somewhere else to go. The vanity area has lights burned out, bathroom has a broken tile that pinched my foot, we found 3 articles of dirty clothing, the tvs werent plugged in but they are mounted to a wall and the outlet is behind it so that was a challenge, and it was overly warm (so we turned the temp down). Woke up the next morning and it was 5 degrees warmer. We then (9am) called the front desk to ask if there is a trick to these thermostats. They said maintenance comes in at 10 am and they would send someone up. A little after that I go downstairs n hear 2 employees makin jokes about the girl in 331 who doesn't know how to use a thermostat. In the mean time our room is getting warmer and the hallway is an ice box compared to our room so we propped our door open and put fans in the doorway to try bringing in some cooler air. Then the head housekeeper comes down the hall yelling at her staff and asked if anyone offered us housekeeping services. We advise her they did and ask if she knows of any tricks with the thermostat. She said she is maintenance right now because they dont have maintenance on weekends. She comes in and says the thermostat is new so maybe we should try closing our door. We then pointed out the temperature difference between the hallway and our room and told her I am six months pregnant and need this fixed asap. After pointing that out she decided to check the circuit breaker and shut everything off n then turned everything on again and it still didnt work. Eventually a man (i believe his name is Chris) comes to our room and says he is maintenance (the actual maintenance man told us Chris is not maintenance). Chris pushes buttons on the thermostat and then takes the picture covering the circuit breaker down(in that process he knocks a bunch of stuff down and off of our food table including a hotel glass and the only thing he said about it was "oh well atleast that was a hotel glass" but never did he apologize for knocking over a bunch of stuff on the food and drink table nor did he try to help pick it up)and shut everything off and then turned it on again. He then goes to the other room (bedroom) and takes a pannel off the wall and messes with a bunch of stuff in there and looks at me and says "i can hear it running so it seems fine to me" and walks out leaving a (approximately) 12" and 6" screw driver on the toddlers coloring table. As he walks out the door of the hotel room he tells the guests in that room that another maintenance guy will come take another look when he comes in later today. The temperature got up to 86°!! The next maintenance guy didn't come in until the next day!! He came in and checked the thermostat and messed with those buttons as well. He then goes to the bedroom and removes the pannel from the wall (and tried to shove it into a balloon arch taped to the wall and popped 5 balloons so i rushed over the"
"Hilton's brand is also a drop! The room is a suite with living room, kitchen and facilities! Forgot to take pictures, busy on the road, this shop is next to the highway, it is very convenient to get on and off the road! Special thanks to Ctrip.com, I accidentally made the mistake of time, booked the next day's room, contacted the customer service, they responded quickly, immediately helped cancel the order for free, let me re-order the room of the day, and deal with it very quickly. All right! Let us stay in the room and get a good rest. Ctrip.com is trustworthy! As a veteran fan, I have been using Ctrip to book hotels and air tickets, but I have not switched to a foreign network like booking. Hope is getting better and better!"
"Hotel is right off the interstate but set back enough there wasn't any traffic noise. The hotel itself was also very quiet. Room was very clean. Decor was a little outdated but well maintained. Breakfast was typical hotel style food but several options for food and drinks. Staff was all very friendly! Will stay again!"

"Yes, snow can fly in October, and staying here makes concerts and other events completely enjoyable. No hassle parking and no fighting bad weather going to the Denny Sanford Premier Center or leaving afterwards as this hotel has a lovely attached indoor walkway connecting the two buildings. The atrium can be a bit noisy, but if that is a concern, ask for a room in the Executive wing. It is east of the atrium and much more quiet. On our last stay we stayed on the concierge floor, which offers an evening happy hour and a continental breakfast. Our room appeared updated with a king bed was spacious with a couch, desk and a small fridge. We will be back! "
"Excellent staff and facilities. Devon, the checkin clerk, and Dennis, security and van driver, were so kind and helpful. I landed in Sioux Falls at midnight and discovered the hotel I booked was awful. I called the Sheraton. Devon was patient and helpful in assisting me. He had the van pick me up at the other hotel to bring me to the Sheraton. The service overall was extraordinary. Comfortable bed. Good food on-site."
"The service was very good. My room was nice too. The restaurant served a nice dinner after traveling many hours it was nice to not have to leave the hotel to find a place to eat. The location was easy to find. As a single woman, traveling alone, I want to be comfortable and feel safe when I stay over night. The Sheraton met both of those standards too. I have no complaints."

Outstanding

"We stayed here for three nights during the week. Our room was huge and clean. Housekeeping does not come in your room while you're staying so if you need anything like more towels or toiletries you have to call down or go to the front desk to get them. There was a cute pool for children and a hot tub but we did not use either. Breakfast had a good variety considering covid. All the staff were wearing masks. It's in a great location right on the bike trail so we walked a few miles on that while we stayed here. The TV channels are extremely limited so if you go to a hotel to watch TV you might be disappointed. I docked 2 stars because they ask guests to wear masks, and to use the provided gloves while in the breakfast area. Every morning we saw other guests not wearing a mask at all and completely ignoring the gloves while touching everything with their bare hands. We wish the staff would have enforced their suggestions as those of us who believe in science would like to be kept safe from germs! They also individually bagged every single item which we understand but it does seem like such a waste of plastic/added garbage. Another con of this stay was that the housekeeping staff was incredibly loud starting at just after 6 a.m. every morning so we never got to sleep in. They would talk in extremely loud voices and slam the doors multiple times, especially the door is going outside right underneath our room. Our room was right outside of the elevator too so that didn't help with the noise. Our bathroom fan did not work the first day but maintenance did come and fix it the second day after we told front desk."
"It has been a long time since we were at the Clubhouse. Because of Covid we had been staying close to home.. We were attending a wedding in S.F. on Saturday Night so what better than to make a special evening even more special. Our room was perfect, as always, and opened to the outside, which my dog loves. It was wonderful to be back "HOME" again and to see my wonderful friends there. Following my husband's death I spent a lot of time there and did a lot of healing, thanks to the wonderful staff that are now my friends. I have stayed at the Clubhouse over 60 times and have never been disappointed. The breakfast is always wonderful and the kitchen staff are always working to make sure that every guests needs are being met. During this time of Covid all precautions are being taken to insure that every guest has a comfortable stay and goes home safe. Since my first visit there I have never considered staying anywhere else. MY HOME AWAY FROM HOME!! Kasey J."
"I hosted my son’s 3rd birthday party here. The king suite with the living room and kitchen area was appropriate size to fit the party. I expected the pool area to be a lot bigger but it was perfect for my son and his friends. Sidney, at check in was very pleasant ! She offered accommodations when I told her about my son’s party. Hotel is very clean and quiet! Wish I could have stayed another night but I know my son had enough fun for his birthday!"

"We have stayed here before and we love this motel. With that being said, will you PLEASE not have some foreigner from who knows where, that cannot understand or speak English take our reservations?!! I called several times to make reservations and it was a joke. Finally my husband called and in the end they still did not get the rooms right. We love the pool and hot tub, it’s not too huge and the kids have so much fun on the lily pad things. If it a busy night it does get a little too full. Breakfast is great, you get vouchers and can eat at the restaurant hooked onto the motel. Super good food and friendly service in there. Quiet and prompt. The rooms are nice and clean. The beds are honestly the best motel beds I’ve ever slept on. I hope the motel continues to feel super clean, j know it’s a newer motel so that’s why I feel comfortable staying here. It unfortunately is a ways away from the mall and other shopping but It’s worth it. It is very close to the runway so all the arriving planes do fly in close by but it didn’t bother me. My kids loved watching them. "
"This is our first stop on a trip out west and it was perfect. This hotel was clean and quiet with a friendly staff. It had a golf course outback which looked quite enjoyable if We had a little more time. They had a restaurant connected that was very nice as well. This is a very fair price hotel with a great location and comfortable accommodations. I would recommend it and probably stop by next time I’m in the area for a visit."
"This is a great hotel not too far from the Sioux Falls airport. It has an excellent attached restaurant/pub and very comfortable rooms. It also has a nice pool and gym. The rooms have a king sized bed with a comfortable mattress and a nice bathroom."

"Nice hotel with very comfortable beds. We have a king balcony room (there’s no actual balcony). Spacious for two people. Bathroom is updated with good lighting. Everything appears clean. A little noisy. We can hear every step the people above us make and every door that slams in our corridor. (Maybe this is why the room has two pairs of earplugs? Never saw earplugs provided by a hotel before...lol) Our room has a fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker (although we have coffee we have no coffee cups in our room!) and two free bottles of water. Check in staff was great and very friendly. We would stay here again. Would NOT eat at the restaurant on site ever again. The photos are of the view from our room on the 9th floor. "
"Booked this hotel for one night after flying in to FSD to start our South Dakota vacation. The room was clean and the location can't be beat since the downtown attractions of the Arc of Dreams and Falls Park were within easy walking distance. Plenty of dining choice also within walking distance and I recommend the Phillips Avenue Diner which is only a few blocks away. The price was right since I was able to book the room on Hotwire for $60 and with the daily hotel fee of $13.50, the total of just over $74 for the night was a good deal considering it was a Saturday night over the Labor Day weekend. Excellent deal, room, and location."
"The Holiday Inn City Center provides down home hospitality and the ‘best’ customer service. I truly appreciate a ‘good night sleep’ and that’s what I get at the Holiday Inn as I do at home. I spend 80% of my life sleeping and eating in hotels. I look for the best and I have found it here. Thank you "

"After being loyal IHG hotel members for many years, a very bad experience with one hotel & no help from corporate pretty much made us swear off the IHG brand forever...until the Staybridge in Sioux Falls. This staff was WONDERFUL to us. We had to get some repairs done on our rv,& they were gracious about letting us park our long Rv there with our truck during our stay, they were kind every time we spoke with them,& when we needed an extra night they were extremely accommodating & moved some things around so we could keep the same room. We stayed in a suite & loved the room. The ac worked great, the bed was comfortable,& the walls were pretty thick so we couldn’t hear much noise. We will definitely stay here again when in the area. "
"The customer service is great, and efficient. The gentleman explained any questions I had (where to let dog out). He clarified some questions I had as well. For it being a busy due to golf event, he was fast and pleasant. The room was extremely clean. Definitely recommend this hotel."
"Quick stay traveling through SD. Room was excellent! Very difficult to find a hotel that lets two teenage boys have their own bedroom and parents have their own space. This is much appreciated on a long road trip. Room was clean and the breakfast was very good. "
