A great spot for a family visit to Phillip Island. We booked the 2 bedroom apartment. It had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. The kitchen has pots, plates, cutlery etc. so you can prepare meals if you need to. The apartment was on the lower level and would be great on a sunny day as it over looked the playground. The indoor pool was great on a rainy day. The beds are firm but we did like that they give you a selection of pillows.

Just wanted to leave a review to assist others. The price considering it is semi shared accomodation with the kitchenette being in a common area and the walls being really thin (could hear everything from people in next suite on our level) was probably the only negative we had. Overall though, I found the place to be quite beautiful. Trees surround the property, the owner Harley was incredibly welcoming and friendly when we met. It was a cosy place to spend a few nights (we were attending a wedding up there). We even requested an iron and an ironing board with an iron was delivered right to our room in no time at all! They even offered to take our luggage up to the room. Balcony was so beautiful. I did enjoy our stay here, and it is so close to restaurants and bars. Perfect location. We have just had a week at the resort and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the staff were friendly and the two bedroom villa was perfect for our needs. Great kitchen that had everything we needed to cook our own meals . Living area was a good side and the adequate bathroom had a bath, great water temperature. Free wifi worked really well and the place was very clean and warm. We had decking area front and back with outdoor furniture, the villas are all individual and in a nice bush setting, the grounds are all well maintained the workers are always busy, good on them. We enjoyed the indoor pool and the indoor and outdoor hot spas. You had to ring each day to book a time for the indoor spa. We did that each morning for a late afternoon session, it worked well. There is a nice walk around the resort with plenty of Birdlife to see. There are two gyms, two pool complex's either end of this big resort also tennis courts, barbecues, game rooms which the kids would love and pedal carts. I imagine this place would be very busy during holiday time . Walked into town each day,takes about 40 minutes to the Port, good exercise. There is a restaurant on site but can't comment as we never ate there. A great place to stay, we look forward to returning.

A very clean well equipped motel. Whilst fronting the main Phillip Island road the rooms are off a quiet side street. Good beds and pillows. Toaster, kettle, microwave, hairdryer, usual toiletries and tea/ coffee etc. Some other little items included such as bottled water, chocolates, biscuits, makeup removal 'face washer'. Laundry room and ironing facilities in each room. More than adequate wardrobe. Large lawn for children including picnic tables. Many birds 'resident' in motel trees and very entertaining when fed. (Only appropriate bird food!!) For our 3 nights absolutely no noise. :-) Walking distance to Cowes great shops, beach or cruises. RSL one block away. Managers very pleasant. I booked direct online with ease and excellent confirmations etc.. I note the some 3rd party 'agents' were advertising rates different to the motel's rates. Our experiences have been that low advertised rates have a habit of increasing when one comes to book and advertised facilities etc have been been wrong.

I have stayed at Amaroo Park twice now. The park is lovely, cabins are very clean and comfortable. I needed to leave quickly due to an emergency at home and the owners were so kind and empathetic to my situation. I was able to come back without losing any money. Amaroo park is only 10 mins walk to the beach, super close to the shops and gorgeous cafes. I highly recommend Amaroo Park for the location, kind, friendly owners, clean and affordable accommodation. You won't be disappointed. 😊

Wifi is very fast and stable. The bedding is covered in white sheets and is very clean. 3 minutes walk to the beach, 10 minutes to the supermarket, surrounded by a variety of commercial facilities, eating and playing are very convenient, as well as Chinese restaurants. The Chinese boss is very enthusiastic and details the fun attractions on Phillip Island. Very recommended.

We went with another family and combined we had three 6 year old girls. We loved the ability to simply walk a few metres to the beach and also walk a few metres to the pool and outside spa. The pool/spa is setup prefect for adults and children to enjoy together. I have stayed there over nearly twenty years and some years back I did stay on a soft mattress but I am pleased to say that this time everything was perfect. The rooms are bog enough, clean and have all we need. The best part I enjoy about about staying at Kaloha is cooking breakfast on the bbqs in the late morning while the kids can run around and enjoy the playground or jumping castle.

Checked in late for an overnight stay, and it was brilliant. Lovely rooms, well appointed and clean, excellent location, with views of the bay. Friendly check in staff. Dinner and drinks at the hotel was great, good range, excellent venue and fantastic food. Plenty of off street parking for the Harley, but not a fan of gravel carparks. Great place to stay.

Australian motels are very mature, there are parking spaces in front of each room, it is convenient to get things, the toiletries in the room are in addition to toothbrushes and toothpaste, the travel friends prepare their own brushing equipment, the room is clean, the microwave refrigerator has an electric kettle and simple tableware. You can simply cook or microwave heating yourself, but remember to check out before 10 o'clock in the morning, and throw the key into the mailbox at the door.

Very basic motel- not good enough even for that. I usually don't mind a basic motel, that is if everything works and it is comfortable. The heating didn't work properly and we struggled to keep the chill off the air in the room. The two beds in the room had one blanket each -winter you would think there would be more. In the cupboard there was only one spare blanket for one bed. The outside lights were on all night and the window coverings were unable to keep out the light, especially the window above the door. There was nothing to wash the dishes with even though the sign in the room advised you'd have to wash your dishes (BTW I don't have an issue with washing my dishes). I only booked this motel because there was nothing else available. Definitely would not stay here again.
