The hotel is right on the edge of Lake Windermere, with a very good environment. The hotel lobby has a very British aristocratic style, and each restaurant is very distinctive, but my favorite is the breakfast restaurant. It is so beautiful and comfortable to sit by the window, look at the lake through the green lawn, and eat English breakfast. We ordered dinner, which was also very good, especially the appetizers. The room is also very large, and we can see the lake in our room. It is very shocking to get up in the morning and look at the lake under the blue sky and white clouds. The facilities are also very good. It is a hotel that is worth staying in many times.

My husband and I stayed here in one of the larger posh 4-poster bed rooms for 2 nights nights. It is an ideal location, being a very short walk from the village high street, across the road from the harbour with beautiful lake views, but tucked high enough away from any street noise. And because it's a proper hotel, the room we booked was large enough, and even had a bidet. There was adequate parking, a lovely full English breakfast buffet, and a fancy bar and restaurant onsite. The only downside was that the lift was broken, so we had to climb to the top floor many times a day, and construction was taking place on site, but that was quiet for us as our room was around the other side of the building. If you're there in the dead of summer, there was no AC. (Just a heads up in case you're from the states and used to it all hotel rooms) Not currently any pool or hot tub at the time of typing this. I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to my friends. 👍🏼

It's mid-mountain, and the environment is fantastic. However, the hike to the lake takes over half an hour, making it inconvenient. Driving would be perfect. There's no air conditioning, but there are fans. It might not be necessary on normal days when the temperature isn't high. But it was too hot on the first day, and the second day, when it rained and the temperature dropped, the air conditioning was completely unnecessary. The breakfast was excellent. If it were me, I'd just stay near the hotel, not go anywhere, and just stare blankly. It was so relaxing, hahaha.

Great location, friendly/helpful staff. Fine views from the bar and restaurant. Parking is expensive at £20 per night. Room was clean and decent, but overall it’s a little bit tired, with Wetherspoons-like carpet, worn paintwork, creaky doors etc. It could certainly do with a spruce up. Spa was very good.

A great location for photography...a very modern and beautiful and clean hotel...it always smells good...you can have several things in one place together...really take care of the cleanliness of the hotel every day...and I really liked the cleanliness there.

Overall, it's pretty good. The decor has a bit of an American style, giving it a warm and cozy feel. The view from the window is lovely, offering a direct look at the lake. The hotel restaurant is right downstairs, and we saw many foreigners sitting there enjoying drinks. The town itself is small; you can explore most of it within a 15-minute walk, which is very convenient. There's no mini-fridge in the room, but you can ask the front desk for ice, and they'll provide a large bucket.

The hotel was hospitable with very friendly staff however location wise it was quite far from the places I wantes to visit however it was close by to the town centre with many halal restaurant suchs as lake raj. Overall it was a pleasant stay!!!

The scenery is very good! ! The picturesque scenery, as mentioned in many reviews, the hotel itself is a scene. The traditional English manor style, blooming gardens, and tranquil lakeside all make people linger. During this trip to the Lake District, I went to the town center and ambleside. It is not an exaggeration to say that I personally feel that only by staying at the Langdale Chase Hotel can we truly appreciate the beauty of the Lake District. The attitude of the staff is also relatively good. The hotel is about 5 kilometers from the railway station and a taxi is 10 pounds; it is about 2 kilometers from the ambleside pier. You can also take a bus to these two towns, but the bus stop is five to six hundred meters away from the hotel, which is not particularly recommended. If you are not driving by yourself, it is better to take a taxi. If you are taking a taxi, it is best to call the front desk. It usually takes ten minutes. If you are in a hurry, it is best to advance. The toilet facilities are slightly outdated, but there is no major impact. The lake view room I stayed this time was quite spacious with a balcony. Overall, very satisfied!

First of all, I must like the design of this small hotel. It has a great sense of design. It is located in the lake area not too close to the lake. It is very quiet and the garden is very delicate. It is also very convenient to walk to the nearby lake for about 20 minutes. You need to make a reservation for dinner. It’s still dark at 10:30, so you can walk to the center of town to eat pizza. There is free parking, which is really nice.
