"Mengmeng's trip to the UK this time is a self-driving tour, so we went to some very niche attractions and checked in a very special five-star manor hotel. One of my favorite hotels is the Lanstern Hotel next to Southampton. The quaint manor really has the sense of being a movie blockbuster, and bicycles can be rented, and then take a circle in the surrounding forest. It feels great! ⛄⛄⛄ The coordinates of the hotel are SO212LT. It is about 7 minutes drive to Winchester Cathedral and about 25 minutes drive to Southampton. The entire hotel was converted into a 17th-century manor. So the biggest feature is that it is particularly large. According to the steward, it covers 63 acres! It took us more than half an hour to shuttle through the hotel's corridors without even finishing. In addition, the hotel was hung with oil paintings of the Louis period, and a lot of antique furniture was placed. So I often watch European and American novels and movies always feel a little bit cold. Coupled with the surrounding forest, unknown birds such as cuckoos have been calling, adding a little fear. ⛄⛄⛄ The environment is really beautiful, I feel a little afraid that it is actually my psychological role! In fact, the occupancy rate is particularly high, not only foreigners, but many British people like to live in such a manor hotel! The decoration of the room is very elegant and new, with about 50 rooms. The style of each room is different. Some rooms have a British four-poster bed! The bathtub in the room is also equipped with a TV and a spa. Bath products are also very high-end brands! ⭐⭐⭐ The mascot of the hotel is an owl. This hotel not only has an owl puppet in the room, but the hotel owner really has an owl! You can pay for feeding the owl, and train her to fly to your arm. It's just that Owl Cafe is everywhere in Japan, so we didn't train raptors, and families with children can try it. 🥘🥘🥘 Be sure to boast that the hotel breakfast is really delicious! It was later discovered that this restaurant was an award-winning restaurant, using local produce and herbs and vegetables grown in the hotel's back garden. During our trip to the UK, the breakfast we chose in each hotel was a full English breakfast. But only the black mushrooms in this hotel are particularly thick, probably picked from the nearby forest! Bacon and ham are not too salty. It ’s enough. I ate a CD! Dinner is delicious too! There is also a 24-hour room service. 🌲🌲🌲 The hotel's front yard, backyard, and corridors are particularly suitable for taking photos. There is a tennis court ahead. The parking lot is an English garden. The price of this hotel is really very suitable, five-star service, but the double room only costs 900 yuan, and also includes double breakfast. If you are driving near Winchester, I highly recommend staying here!"

"The hotel is located in the heart of Winchester, very close to the church, and other attractions and shopping areas are within easy reach. The front desk was very efficient. We arrived early, and they arranged for us to move in immediately without having to wait until 2:00 pm."
"Unchanging English breakfast, no work. The hotel is in a good location, walking distance to Winchester Cathedral, Winchester College, and the simple Austin House. The only downside is that the hotel elevator is not useful, or it is necessary to lead the luggage up the stairs."
"Really enjoyed my stay here. Caitlin + Rebekah + lovely guy on at night name similar to Liam .. They were warm and welcoming and helpful and made me feel at home. Also Laura at Room services. Can’t wait to go back. "

"We got married at the hotel on the 21 Feb 2020 and I could not fault the staff at all, from the moment we booked to the morning after the wedding day everyone was so attentive and helpful! Our coordinator, Sam, was amazing and made sure our day was absolutely perfect!! The room was beautiful and set up exactly how I imagined. One thing I would recommend is leaving the venue for a couple photos, we headed to Hyde Gate and the church down the road (2min walk) to take some photographs as there isn't much more than car park directly outside the hotel but what the hotel might lack in outside space it more than makes up for in amazing staff, food and beautiful rooms!"
"We stayed here in November and upon arrival we were happy with the loom of the place. The staff were great and upgraded us. The room as nice and spacious but like a lot of the hotel it’s showing signs of age! This isn’t making out it’s dirty (which it isn’t) but it just needs lifting and making a tad more modern. The spa facilities were ‘ok’ not the cleanest but not a health hazard. The only real gripe I had was hit and miss service at breakfast (things wrong, poor attitudes from the odd one) and the underground parking. Yes it’s free but my car was absolutely covered in muck, salt and grime! The concrete roof leaks and made a real mess of it! I had to clean and polish it to get the paintwork right again - be warned. Overall we did enjoy it though and would stay again without a second thought. "
"My friend and I stayed here after our Bombay Sapphire tour. The hotel was walking distance into town and the Cathedral. The hotel was very covid prepared. Sanitizer available and everyone wore masks. Paper cups in the room but had taken our own mugs. No cushions or bed protectors to save any cross infection . We upgraded to a club room and had a deal for the second night which included a cocktail and diner which was very nice. Breakfast was served at the table no buffet. All very safe! Staff friendly and helpful. We used the pool maximum 6 people but could not use the sauna etc but that was fine. No concerns at all about cleanliness and it being covid safe. Would return and highly recommend You will not be disappointed."

"The hotel is more than 10 minutes walk from the train station. It is not easy to find. The front desk asks if there is any driving. It feels like the city is going to drive by default. The room is quite big, with a large round table and two armchairs. The double bed in the double room is 1 meter wide and can be put together to sleep. The mattress is very comfortable. The most pleasant breakfast, a large sun room, a lot of varieties to eat, a waiter designated seat, looking out the window is a big green space, very enjoyable, but the weekend breakfast started at 8 o'clock, in order to catch the train missed a meal. The front desk gave the room on the ground floor of the new building. No problem. Later, I visited the second floor of the old building and found many steps. On the whole, there are advantages and disadvantages. If you don't look at the location, the overall environment is really refreshing."
"Though we had experienced difficulties on locating the property we received warm welcome from the staff and we had a wonderful time at this hotel"

"Didn't like liveliness, didn't choose the city center. The hotel should be a supporting course, and there is a golf course next to it, the environment is very good. The room was large enough, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was good and the view was great."
"The rooms are big, huge parking space outside which is free. The location is a bit out of the city, but it is very convenient by car. Very nice hotel, nice bed, overall nice stay! "
"Not bad, far from the city"

"The location is no better, the Winchester Cathedral is opposite the main entrance, there is no parking lot, but the hotel provides a parking permit for a nearby parking space, and there is no charge. Breakfast can be delivered to the room for free, or it can be eaten in a rustic restaurant decorated downstairs. The rooms are too big, the solid wood furniture is also antique, very romantic, and the bathroom is spacious and comfortable. The perfect hotel, will definitely go again next time. Excellent service attitude, check out later."
"The breakfast is super good, opposite the cathedral, convenient. On the first floor of the hotel is an old bar, where breakfast is also served in the morning. The room was a bit old and the bed was not very comfortable. But the service of the hotel is very good, the waiters are very sunny"

"The premier plus room we stayed in was a definate uograde from the standard room and would recommend. Whikst i had noted the restaurant was closed the day before my visit i got an email asking me to book a table to avoid disappointment. I emailed the hotel and got a direct response from a member of the hotel staff. When going down to dinner there was a very limited menu and you could either sit at a unmade table or take the food back to your room. We decided to sit at a table. We heard the ping of a microwave and then our food was brought out in a paper bag. Inside was a box and when you opened the flap the food. Pasta bolignaise was floating in the base of the box. The cutlery was cardboard and tge portion size was that of a slimming world meal. Wine was served in a tin. A very disappointing experience. I am sure that it cuts fien on staff cists and washing up. Until premier inn reinstated their full restaurant service i wull not be booking with them"
"We spent 2 nights here. We had evening meals on both and breakfast one morning. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. There was an issue with one of our meals. Liam and Jordan addressed it and it was resolved successfully. When I went to the reception at about 8 on Sunday evening, there were 2 notices saying that the desk was closed. In fact, there were 2 members of staff in the restaurant, both happy to help. Perhaps the desk notices could be more helpful."
"This premier inn was up to the usual high standards that we've come to expect, but with the C-19 restrictions in place. However, we had not been notified that the restaurant wasn't operating in the evenings, only offering 'ready meals', which meant we had a lady minute panic on our first evening. Luckily managed to find a local Italian that had a table available. Other than that, I have to say the staff were amazing, especially with breakfast, which wad table service. The second lockdown was announced during our stay, but did we see any glum faces?....no.... very professional and very helpful and accommodating at all times. Thank you all and hoping you all have jobs to come back too after this lockdown. "
