Very clean quiet hotel, rooms were very nice. Breakfast variety is amazing. Heated pool was nice during a cold front when we stayed. Chilli's and Another broken egg is located next door, Publix is also down the road too. The University Town Mall is 5 minutes away which is next to the Florida Turnpike. Will stay again next year during Dimitri Cup.

Hyatt Place was excellent ! The cleanliness of this hotel is outstanding. The Breakfast was by far one of the best that we have encountered in Hotel Stays. Management took care of our needs in a moments notice. Check out was expedient

I had a really awesome experience. The hotel is right next to the airport and 10 minutes from downtown Sarasota. It’s also right across the street from the tingling museum, which is beautiful. The rooms themselves are sleek and thoughtfully designed

The location is within img academy, so it is very suitable for boarding student care, the swimming pool is convenient to use, and the facilities and interior of the rooms are excellent.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this location. Excellent, clean rooms and property. Best breakfast selection. The pool was heated, which my daughter enjoyed tremendously. Staff was very friendly. Some of the housekeeping staff didn't speak any English, but I was still able to get what I needed from them. I wish I got her name. She was so nice. Will definitely start staying at other locations.

The room is clean, the size is OK, the bathroom is a little small, parking is very convenient, the location is close to the city center, after all, in this city to drive. Breakfast is a basic selection of smart choices. The swimming pool is also bigger than the big city.

Reviews From Real Travelers
This was our second visit to this area to visit family and this hotel has a lot going for it -- central location near restaurants, the interstate, shops, friendly staff and atmosphere, exceptionally clean and modern guest rooms and public areas. Once again, we felt welcomed by the reception desk and rest of the staff each day as we had during our first visit last year. However, some suggested areas of improvement: 1. If snacks are from 5 - 7 p.m., have them out on time. Only happened once in a week. 2. Remind us at check-in we could have received more bottled water as Hilton Honors members, and 3.Last, but not least! Eliminate the little slips of paper that were strewn all over the hallway each day (a week for us) from the new General Manager. We felt they were a waste. If they are left on doors, they don't stay there and litter the hallway. (What if you are handicapped and cannot bend to pick it up?) Not a good image/perception, at least for us. This did not happen last time we stayed and we felt just as welcome without the litter in the hallway when you opened your door each morning. Only good as scrap paper since pens and notepads are no longer provided in rooms (perhaps because of the pandemic?). Consider alternatives, e.g., a Welcome placard/tent card on the desk in each room with the same message from the GM with her contact info should suffice, and/or have a board (electronic or otherwise) by the elevators or by the breakfast room where you can post the daily forecast and who is serving breakfast, and a daily message from the GM. We've seen this done at other hotels, conference centers, and cruise ships. You are modern in every way ... come into the 21st Century with that gesture too.

We were greeted warmly by Rachel at check-in who made us feel REALLY welcomed. The layout of the hotel was very inviting with comfortable seating for breakfast. The rooms were roomy and very clean, the beds comfortable, and plenty of counter/shelf space in the bathroom for your articles. Plenty of electrical outlets and the lighting were substantial in both the bedroom and bathroom. The pool area was invitng and quite large. The breakfast was generous in its offering and the staff, Chelse and Stephanie were most pleasant. The hotel is surrounded by incredible shopping and eateries, many within walking distance. Two things stood out at this property. One, again, was our genuine and warm greeting from Rachel at check-in, and the second, a little note left at our door the next morning with a ”GOOD MORNING!,”, the extended forecast for the day, a note from the manager for assistance at ANY time, and that breakfast was waiting for us. downstairs. That personal touch was something I've never encountered at ANY hotel before and it impressed me greatly. This is one fine hotel!

This hotel is always has friendly and helpful staff. Very clean from my experience and they are in the best location if you’re a local. If you’re here for the beach, probably not where you wanna be. This place goes above and beyond to make the guest comfortable. The breakfast isn’t bad either. They have a nice variety although the same variety day in and day out. I will stay here again for sure.

Was looking specifically for property with 2 separate BR/BA and ”kitchen”. Location is right across from SRQ. The front desk staff was fantastic--so friendly with a ”can do” attitude (the staff at The Modern and Art Ovation could take lessons from these folks). Room was very spacious and comfortable. Lighting is too dim in the kitchen and needs stronger bulbs. Good refrig with automatic ice maker. Cookware must be 10 years old--at least invest in non-stick or provide steel wool pads to do dishes. Kitchen did not have a baking pan but staff found one in 5 minutes and also supplied me with aluminum foil. Very easy to cook basic meals there. Lot's of outlets to plug in electronics and work areas. Pool area furniture is filthy and old--wouldn't want to touch any of it. Needs new hairdryers. The smoke detector went off every time I dried my hair. Grill looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months so that wasn't an option. Property has complimentary basic breakfast. All in all, great team and great location. Not fancy in any way but really met our needs

We had come down to FL for a family funeral on short notice and booked across their parking lot at the Springhill Suites. It was a disaster - broken elevator, no hot water - and the staff at The Residence Inn was so helpful in getting us moved over at the last minute. They helped coordinate with my parents who didn’t get in until late that evening, too. They were gracious, kind and made a difficult weekend so much better
