Hotel does not make anything from outside, but within the rooms develop comfort. Great clean modern rooms. Very friendly reception. Breakfast does not leave any wishes open. No 10 minutes walk to the Münster and further 5 minutes to the fishermen district.

The hotel is located in the scenic area and walks out to be the main street of the scenic spot. It takes only 5 minutes to turn around the corner to know the foreign parking is a trouble. Although the hotel does not have a parking space, it is 2 minutes walk from the hotel. One of the best places to watch the cathedral is to stop this parking lot. Just stay at this hotel and walk to the attraction.

You get what you see on their website. Rooms small, but very clean. No work desk. Not much privacy as sink and shower are behind curtain, but otherwise open. Restroom separate. Surroundings are noisy which is to be expected in that location between Main Station and Shopping Zone. Windows really tune out the noise, as a consequence room gets quite stuffy and warm. Plenty of pigeons running around on metal framing above window, sounds like rats running inside the ceiling. This might be an issue of the sixth floor only, though. Staff mostly very friendly. Had one grumpy person but maybe they had just a bad day.

This trip went to several hotels during the trip. Except for the Hilton at the airport, this hotel was the most satisfactory one on this trip. Cozy little hotel, living in a triple room, a large bed plus a sofa bed. The room is small, it is a sloping roof, it is short, the bed is basically full, but it is very clean. Although Maritim is a major chain in Germany as well as throughout Europe, this is the first time my wife and I stayed in one of their properties. All in all, a great hotel offering some incredible views of the Ulm Minster and the Danube. The check in was very easy with most desk clerks having various language skills. What I didn't like was how much more parking and the breakfast was added on to the stay. Still, I must say that the any breakfast offering champagne says a lot to us as we always enjoy several glasses before hitting the pavement to walk the city. We also closed out our evenings each night enjoying more wine and/or champagne. Next time, perhaps we will dine up here in the restaurant with a panorama view overlooking the Danube and the city. This place had an indoor pool; however, the water was not warm. Perhaps that was intentional to dissuade usage in this COVID environment. As Germany continues to open, I may have to start checking this chain out as we were overall impressed.
