We had a very spacious family room in this wonderful hotel. There was a delightful breakfast with everything you could ask for, incl. freshly cooked eggs to your likings. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is located in a park with monumental trees, incl. Giant Sequoias.

Love this hotel... nice environment and surrounding. Too bad the weather was not favorable to our trip. Raining almost whole day make us difficult to get into a car as no private car park at the hotel and need walk across the street to pick up our car.

We had a renovated deluxe room, that might explain some differences with other people's experiences. And were positively surprised, except for the dinner restaurant ( see separate review). Actually this renovated room was real 4 stars, and better than our average Fletcher hotel experience. Twice as large as the standard room for 50% extra price, basically a mini-suite. Separate sitting area with desk and sofa, bathroom with separate tub and shower (all a bit crammed) and in the other half of the room a separate WC. Nice bed, balcony, good WiFi. Pool was surprisingly good and big for a hotel, also free sauna. Decent breakfast, more 3 than 4 stars in variety; and a bit slow in refills. The estate grounds are already very nicely landscaped but the walks in the nearby Veluwezoom reserve are stunning. The room had a small drawbacks though: no hooks etc. to put the towels, and nice shower gel and shampoo supplied but absolutely nothing in terms of soap, neither liquid or concrete. We did not complain, otherwise probably they would have fixed that.

We had to wait 3 quarters before we could in our hotel room. The room was good, spacious and clean. Unfortunately there is very saving on the single-layer toilet paper
The breakfast was not good, so the bread was not made enough to eat; and the other bread was delivered late on the breakfast table. The breakfast was very busy, there was a long line to come to breakfast and too little places for all guests. We also missed a box of waste on the tables, where you can lose the waste immediately during breakfast.
The closed cycling station was very bad; all Fletcher's bikes were in the station, which made the guests no place to place his bikes. The roof of the stall was broken, and the bikes were wet at rain.
There was a swimming pool, but there was nothing about bath jackets reported by the staff.
It's a very widely attacking hotel.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in Kleve für einen Kurztrip und wieder restlos begeistert. Da unsere Anreise kurz ist, haben wir Mittags eine Kleinigkeit gegessen (sehr lecker) und konnten deutlich vor der Zeit unser Zimmer beziehen. Wunderschön und mit Blick auf die Spoy! Restlos begeistert hat uns das Abendbrot. Selten bis nie haben wir außerhalb der Küste so guten Fisch gegessen. Ein kleiner Tipp, der aber auch bitte als Tipp und nicht als Kritik verstanden wird: eine bessere, mediale Präsenz zur Infomationensmöglichkeit wäre schön. Und ein Traum wären kleinere Portion für Erwachsene. So werden wir nie den Nachtisch schaffen. Der Wolfsbarsch war unvergleichlich gut, aber leider war danach kein Platz mehr für ein Dessert. Ein besonderer Dank an dieser Stelle an Heidi und die restlichen Engel für die vielen Tipps und die unglaubliche Geduld beim Thema Klimaanlage!

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, Tagungsraum in die Jahre gekommen, abgewetzter Bodenbelag, Tische mit mehreren Macken, das Zimmer war großzügig und in Ordnung. Mittag- und Abendessen waren gut, der Service sehr freundlich. Der Abend auf der Terrasse war vom Service her sehr unerfreulich. Der Kellner hielt sich ohne erkennbare Aufgabe an der Bar auf. Auf die Nachfrage ob auch draußen bedient würde (immerhin 25 Personen) reagierte er unfreundlich nahm dann aber doch die Bestellung auf. Die Getränke stellte er dann gesammelt an einer Seite des Tisches hin und verschwand. Ein derart unmögliches Verhalten ist bei einem Hotel dieser Kategorie schon bemerkenswert.
