The hotel is very good, the first time I booked the suite is good, the second time because I did not book a business room, I found that the business room orientation is the front of the hotel, the standard room orientation is close to the high speed on the back of the hotel, but the sound insulation is not too noisy, hotel parking If the indoors are 20 euros, the open-air gate is 10 euros, and there is a parking lot next to the hotel's open-air parking lot. It is 7 euros, but this parking seems to be unattended. The first afternoon to go there, I did not see the management staff. A cabin was closed. After checking out the next morning, I saw that someone was waiting to collect the money. It felt like it was cheap but not safe.

We were very satisfied in the beautiful hotel . The generous room with view to the rest and in the garden was exactly according to our taste. The comfortable bed provided relaxing sleep. The furniture modern and attractive. The bathroom is newly equipped with a large shower and practical very large washing table. Confortable with the separate toilet. The balcony is also very nice of size and is equipped with table and adjustable chairs as well as sunscreen. The menu for dinner was delicious. Breakfast was also good. There is also a hall bath and fitness room, but we didn't both use. The outdoor facilities with the beer garden were excellent. The location of the hotel is top. Parking is free. There were cheap outdoors as the garage was located. The bikes could be placed and loaded free in the garage.

Nice hotel in a nice location on the outskirts of Schwerte. The reception is well laid out, staff are attentive and rooms are clean and functional. My only grip is that, there is no blinds in the bathroom so when the sun comes up, it wakes you up irrespective of whether the curtains are closed or not. There is a great pub a hundred metre down the road, and has some fantastic meals available.

Het Schlosshotel Holzrichter ligt aan de rand van het dorpje Veserde, onderdeel van de gemeente Nachroth-Wiblingwerde. Schuin voor het eigenlijke slot een annex, waarin receptie en het restaurant. Beide gebouwen bieden prachtig uitzicht op het heuvellandschap van Sauerland. Het slot is natuurlijk geen echt slot .. het is tamelijk recent gebouwd in wel heel fantasierijke barokstijl. Kitsch .. ja, ”over de top?”, ja. Maar het is toch ook wel grappig om in zo'n Disneyland-achtig bouwsel te logeren. Wij logeerden in de Kronprinzen-kamer. We hoefden het gelukkig niet te worden. Ruime kamer, prettig, goed sanitair, balkon, goede bedden en gelukkig ook ruimschoots voorzien van barokkige details. Leuk en prettig. Sauna aanwezig en goed. Parkachtige tuin. Hetgeen men biedt in het restaurant is uitstekend .. men kookt met gevoel voor raffinement. Ontbijt uitgebreid en goed. Buiten fijn terras. Eén kritisch punt .. de koffie is niet alleen slecht, maar héél slecht. Overschakelen op cappuccino verhielp het probleem enigszins. Raar, voor zo'n plek waar alles verder perfect is. Andere koffieleverancier helpt vast.

I was staying with a friend in a twin room for two nights, to visit a member of the Starlight Express cast, the Hotel is perfectly situated right next door to the Theatre. The Reception Staff were very welcoming and our room was esy to find, using a lift. The room itself was very clean, spacious and airy (it was a very hot weekend). Water (both Still & Sparkling), was provided. The bed was very comfortable and bedding crisp and clean. Bathroom was fine with a good Shower. Room would be improved by supplying Tea & Coffe making facilites and an extra mirror, as good mirrors in bathroom and one full ength on Bathroom door, but the room could de with another mirror in the main room, so that two people can get ready at the same time. The Breakfast was really good, with an excellent choice of Continental, with a smaller choice of cooked, but excellent all around and the Coffee was very good. The Courtyard area is a lovely area for coffee or a Cocktail and the restaurant staff were really friendly, professional, with all staff speaking English.
