Overall, I was satisfied. The hotel met all expectations, and its decor was quite stylish, offering a more distinctive design compared to other hotels in the same price range. The location is convenient for getting around; taxis are readily available. Within walking distance, you can easily reach Xian'anfang, Li Huangpi Road, and the Jiangtan (riverfront), making dining and strolling around very convenient. Breakfast was just okay, lacking any local specialties, which could be improved. Also, I strongly recommend upgrading the hair dryers in the rooms.

My son was taking his high school entrance exam, and this was the closest hotel. Let me start with the negatives: 1. The hotel seems to have opened in 2016, so the decor and furnishings are quite old. 2. I really have to complain about the breakfast. We went at 8 AM and many items were already empty. When I asked a staff member, they actually said they'd refilled three times and wouldn't be refilling anymore. Doesn't breakfast run until 10 AM? Why couldn't they refill at 8 AM? Plus, the food selection was pathetically small. Seeing so many empty dishes, I couldn't stand it and they just refilled another plate of pumpkin, which was the only thing left, just to fill space. Out of all the hotels I've stayed in, this one is the worst. On the positive side, the front desk staff was great – very responsive and had excellent attitudes. Also, parking was very convenient; you just gave your license plate number when entering and exiting. We were originally supposed to check out at 12 PM, but they extended it for us until 2 PM.

It's really comfortable! A good place to spend the weekend with friends and family. I'm usually too lazy to write a review, but after this experience, I decided to come back and write a good one. [Environment] The scenery is quite pleasant. It's very comfortable to walk outdoors in this weather. I like this feeling of green all over. The activity area is large, and there are also children's play facilities, large lawns, and small lakes for various leisure activities for big and small friends. [Service] It is a very decisive aspect of the experience! The housekeeper responds to various needs very promptly and has a good attitude! The range of activities is still relatively large, and there are many shuttle buses. If you can't walk, you can contact the housekeeper to help arrange a car to pick you up. It's very convenient. [Room] The kitchen is equipped with the necessary pots, knives and seasonings, and you can also put your own ingredients in the refrigerator. There is a large tea table and complete tea-making equipment in the living room, so you don't have to carry it yourself. The room is relatively clean, and each room is equipped with electric mosquito coils. The small table outside the yard can be used for barbecue. You can prepare your own ingredients. The hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable. It's situated right on Yanjiang Avenue, directly across from a huge riverside park. You can step downstairs and immediately enjoy views of the Yangtze River, cherry blossoms, and the night cruise boats – no need to go anywhere else. Right next to the hotel are the Soong Ching Ling Former Residence and the Wuhan Municipal Government building. Behind it is the Wuhan Women's Federation, and the famous Bagong House is a short walk away. It's quite luxurious and grand. The hotel's swimming pool and amenities are all excellent and fully equipped. However, I generally wouldn't recommend the hotel breakfast. There isn't much to choose from; it's probably the worst breakfast I've had at a five-star hotel. If you have the option, definitely stay in an executive suite. You can enjoy river views right from your bed, and the toiletries are all brand-name products. For food delivery, you'll need to go downstairs to pick it up yourself. The hotel can deliver it to your room, but it's slow.

The room has a fantastic view, especially at night. There's a mirror directly opposite the window, and when evening comes, it reflects the outdoor scenery beautifully. It's truly stunning. In the evening, the Yijing Corridor had a ball game playing, and the resident singer was not only beautiful but had an even more amazing voice. You could even request songs, which was a huge plus. The hotel's location is excellent. There's a Manner coffee shop on the first floor, and just down the street, you'll find Tea Color Yuese and several crayfish restaurants, all within about a kilometer. The room was clean and the bedding comfortable. However, on the first morning, while I was still asleep, I was repeatedly woken up by housekeepers knocking on the door asking if I wanted cleaning. I've stayed in many hotels, but this is the first time I've encountered something like that.

When I visited Wuhan this time, I looked at many hotels and finally chose the Westin R&F. The hotel is located by the Yangtze River, making it convenient to take the subway to attractions like Yellow Crane Tower and Jianghan Road. The subway station is a short ten-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel's service was truly exceptional. Before my arrival, they called to ask if I had any special requests, and after checking out, they called again to inquire about my stay and any areas for improvement. The hotel breakfast was also excellent; the hot dry noodles were delicious. Restaurant staff proactively offered coffee, brought food, and cleared tables quickly and professionally. Housekeeping was also prompt and thorough. The staff in the executive lounge were very professional and enthusiastic, warmly serving guests with tea, water, and snacks. On my last day, I requested a late check-out, and the front desk staff immediately accommodated it – truly thoughtful service! I'll definitely stay at the Westin again on my next trip to Wuhan!

I spent a long time choosing a hotel and wasn't sure where to stay, but this one looked pretty good in the end. When I first checked in, there was nothing particularly special about it. No one guided me to my room, and no one helped with my luggage. The room felt a bit dated, though it did offer views of two bridges in Wuhan. There weren't any smart amenities. They had a delivery robot for room service, but it was incredibly slow. I had also contacted them in advance to prepare children's amenities, but they weren't set up upon arrival. The breakfast variety and taste were just average. The swimming pool was decent, and the views from there were indeed incredible, no complaints about that. Overall, I felt like many aspects fell short of five-star standards. There was one minor hiccup during my stay, but the guest services manager, Ashley, deserves praise for her excellent attitude and how she handled the situation.

The pool and gym weren't crowded, which was very comfortable. Although it's not in the city center, there are plenty of dining options, including a pretty good Cai Lin Ji hot dry noodle place nearby. The only minor issue was that I put out the sign for a second housekeeping service during dinner, but no one came. Perhaps I needed to call.

The location is excellent. The Guanggu Boulevard Station of Metro Line 2 is right outside the entrance, specifically Exit C, so you don't even need to cross the road. It's also very close to the HUST Optics Valley Stadium. 2. The service is also fantastic. They proactively offered us a free room upgrade because there was availability. Five-star rating! They also allowed a late check-out until 3:00 PM, which was perfect – we could come back and rest briefly after the graduation ceremony. Truly excellent.

The service was incredibly thoughtful and personalized. They not only upgraded our room for free but also gave us various snacks and fruits, and a handwritten card. They even put up signs in various places indicating there were exam takers, requesting quiet, and extended our check-out time until 3 PM. You can tell they put a lot of effort into making our stay comfortable. The room was very clean, and housekeeping was prompt. This is for our second night, and I wanted to add a few more details: 1. When the housekeeping staff cleaned our room, they noticed we used the table for drinks on the first night and replenished a box of tissues on the table, which wasn't there originally. 2. The housekeeper helped my girlfriend find her lost hairpin, even though we hadn't mentioned it beforehand. It's clear they clean very thoroughly, and they even folded our messy clothes. The housekeeper really deserves a commendation! 3. The turndown service was also good, and it's a nice touch that the hotel provides steam eye masks. 4. One point I missed in my last review that I'm adding here: I'm really curious why a hotel that opened in December 2019 is still using towels all manufactured in June 2019, with no replacements whatsoever. Personally, I don't think even my own towels would last seven years, let alone those used by rotating guests... There are quite a few things to complain about, but it's still pretty good value for money, and the afternoon tea is very photogenic. However, the hotel seems to put a lot of effort into the public areas, and the guest rooms really need more attention.

There's a park nearby, perfect for a stroll when the weather is good. Hotel manager Patrick communicated with me in advance about my room type and preferences and helped me with a free upgrade to a suite. I'd also like to thank Peng Jiale from housekeeping for meticulously decorating my room. Check-in at the front desk was very quick. The hotel service is also very good. The child got greasy all over after eating crayfish. I asked the front desk for detergent, which was delivered to the room quickly. The hotel bar has free drinks, and the front desk also has free water and drinks. The hotel service staff are very friendly. There is no uninterruptible power supply at the bedside of the room I stayed in, so it is not convenient to charge the mobile phone at night.

I came here specifically to visit Mao Zedong's former residence with my child. The Donghu Hotel, located within the East Lake Scenic Area, is a self-contained property. Upon arrival, staff inquire about your purpose before allowing vehicle entry, and there's a private road leading in. There's also a parking lot right at the hotel entrance, which made me feel quite secure. The service was attentive; after checking into the Nanshan B-Section Standard Room with a view that I booked, I received a complimentary fruit platter. The room itself was well-equipped with all necessary amenities. The hotel buildings each have their own unique charm, and the lush greenery makes it feel like a forest – a natural oxygen bar. From my room's balcony, I had a view of the greenway and the shimmering lake. It was raining moderately when we arrived, and I'd never seen the lake so turbulent, with waves crashing one after another. There's a dedicated shuttle bus that takes guests to the side entrance of the Hubei Provincial Museum, which is incredibly convenient as it's just a stone's throw away. After exploring the museum, I simply called the front desk, and they sent the shuttle to pick us up and bring us back to the hotel. My only regret is that due to the rain, I couldn't take a walk on the greenway to enjoy the scenery; I only managed a brief glimpse. I'll definitely come back with my child next time to experience the unique landscape again.

The owner and house manager were also super thoughtful and attentive; they proactively asked if I wanted housekeeping, but only emptied the trash without touching my personal belongings. Security was great too, with a coded main door and an extra lock from the inside. The lake view is stunning! My two-night stay was incredibly relaxing. This was my first time staying at a guesthouse, and it was a superb experience!

There is literally a very lively night market selling food, clothes, accessories, which start at sunset and finish around midnight. This can be a plus point for those who want to discover very local night market, but can be noisy for those wanting to sleep early. Noise continues until 1am so I suggest bringing ear plugs. The entrance to the hotel unfortunately passes by the trash point of the next door bbq restaurant, so have to bear 5 seconds of smelliness everytime you go in and out of the hotel. The receptionist was very nice and suggested some good recommendations for food.
