Room was very dirty on arrival, the floors needed vacuumed, and bathroom needing cleaned. Shower and tap was faulty, no cold water available therefore shower was scolding hot and unusable. Nice hotel but needs a good clean and not worth the price tag.

Great environment and cozy room. Although it‘s a bit far from city center. I found many people chose to stay here for vacation.

A lovely hotel with leisure and spa facilities. Dogs were welcome in most parts of the hotel, with a £20 per dog per night charge. Breakfast was well stocked with lots of options. Would stay again!

Lovely clean and spacious room with amazing bathroom. Spa awesome but treatments are a little on the pricey side. Only down point is restaurant and bar service is abit here and there on when or if you will be served.

Lovely country house hotel on the southern edge of Aberdeen with easy access to city.
Welcoming hotel with a very traditional feel in the main building. Bedrooms are modern and our Standard room was well equipped with a large double bed and plenty of tea coffee etc. The hotel is dog friendly for a small charge. We had lovely cooked breakfasts and continental also available. We ate breakfast in the drawing room, as dogs understandably not allowed in main restaurant. We only ate in the bar area one evening which was cosy and fast service. Friendly staff and nice touch of a Birthday platter delivered to room in recognition of a significant Birthday being celebrated.

Unfortunately my daughter nearly got badly scalded as the hot water in the shower went so hot & you couldn’t turn it down! There was hot water coming out the cold taps! The receptionist wasn’t really interested when we complained.

Overnight stay as had a party in aberdeen.
Room was spacious and clean.
Breakfast was a little disappointing. Having to cue for 1 coffee machine, also having stand to toast your bread 3 times over as the machine didn’t work properly was frustrating. There appeared to be plenty staff on, so why they couldn’t have come with pots of tea and coffee and a rack of toast I’m unsure, but would have certainly eased to congestion in the small room where all the breakfast items were set up.

Terrible stay went to have a shower and was scalded.went to reception to inform them and was told they know about it as the pump was broken and was not possible to get cold water.
In the middle of getting dressed in morning and maid just walked straight in with out knocking.Told reception complaints in morning but would have been better talking to the wall.

What a memoriable experience in a very comfortable and spacious room. Spacious rooms, reasonable rate and friendly staff. Would recommend this stay if in the area. Beautiful grounds and well played out walk or running trails around the property.
