Perfect room, clean hotel was not let into the restaurant because of age the restaurant manager, didn’t let us eat in the restaurant. We had to order room service instead, and there was tables in the restaurant the spa was okay, but the spa staff were making dirty looks on us and reception tried to charge us extra fees!

This hotel was pure luxury. The rooms were spacious and the bed super comfortable. I only wish we were here for more than one night, would have loved to explore it more. I was a little concerned that my room had two stairs down to the toilet but as soon as I got out of bed a sensor light came on.

We celebrated our 40years nursing reunion in Fitzgeralds woodlands house hotel last night. Everyone was blown away by the welcome, consideration, attention to detail and overall friendliness of staff. Our food was delicious and piping hot Nothing was an issue to the exceptionally busy staff. As the organiser I feel so proud of this amazing hotel in our beautiful village.... well done

We stayed here for two nights for a family wedding. From start to finish the Woodlands was fantastic: the bedrooms, the Bistro, the staff, the service, the function room, and the food (in the restaurant and at the wedding). Would 100% recommend for a visit.

Fab hotel went with husband and toddler. Loved the spa. really nice loved the pool. Staff are very friendly and nice . The playground and pet farm.ideal for small kids , would definitely recommend . The room was supposed to be upgraded they said. It was very dated , it was comfortable though .the only thing I wasn't that happy with was the restaurant. food was not great , breakfast was nice enough, dinner not great I got chicken curry and had to put salt and pepper on it , was edible then. It's a pity as the hotel is good otherwise, would recommend.

My daughter Claire and her soulmate Michael got married on Saturday 21st September and we had our reception here in this absolutely amazing and beautiful hotel. I'm finding it difficult to put into words how special our day was. This was made possible by David and every single member of staff. The food was unreal. The service and kindness of the staff. The top table were treated like Royals. The whole ambience was just perfect. I want to thank each and everyone of you in this hotel for making my daughter and my new son in laws day so so special. We had our wedding at the Woodlands last week and can’t thank David and the staff there enough. From the moment we first met with David right up until the morning after the wedding we felt so well looked after. Everyone was so kind on the day and we felt like the most special people. As well as that, our guests have had nothing but praise for all at the woodlands. I think the fitz and chips option went down especially well!! We already can’t wait to revisit for years to come, and just can’t say enough thanks for making our wedding day as perfect as it was.
