Since I was staying during a three-day weekend, I didn't have many options and my destination was close, so I stayed here. The buildings, equipment, and fixtures are so old that it would be difficult to find them anywhere in Japan, and they are so old that you wouldn't even use them on a school trip these days. The sheets are so thin that I wonder if I have chosen them tens of thousands of times. The air conditioner is noisy, the hot water doesn't come out easily, and the room is dark. I could complain endlessly, but I felt as if I were backpacking in a far away developing country while I was in Japan. I wouldn't complain if it was still cheap, but the pricing is pretty aggressive. It was a stay that made me think that the facilities and equipment had already been depreciated and there was no inves**ent in updating them, so the management was in poor condition.
