This was THE best hotel we have ever stayed in. Far exceeded our expectations. Every single member of staff were amazing and seemed very happy and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble and all with a smile too! 😄 We loved the food and there was so much choice. The a la carte Italian restaurant (bookable the day before) was amazing. The main restaurant had so much choice of excellent quality food. Liked the cakes and waffles in the afternoon. I tried yoga for the first time. The tutor was so friendly and encouraging. Sports bar was excellent with table tennis, pool table, bowling alley etc and screens to watch the football. The entertainments manager was very pleasant and helpful and always had a smile on his face - especially at my lack of skill in the bowling alley 😂. Infinity pool was so nice, along with the other pool. We didn't use the indoor pool or spa as we had a few trips out. Arda, our Jet2 rep, organised a ferry trip to Kos which was amazing. Only a 30 minute ferry ride. He was very helpful checking the wind speeds as I sometimes get seasick. Great trip and really enjoyed the experience. We will definitely be back.

As always a fantastic week on beautiful Xanadu Island. Lovely big room with fabulous bathroom. Treats in room on arrival. Fantastic food in the restaurants and a vast choice of drinks in the bar. Service impeccable from the friendly helpful staff. Special shout out to the amazing Mahsun and Agit in the Archipelago Pool Bar who made sure our glasses were always full!

We arrived at the hotel on the 23rd April around 11:3000:00 and were very pleased to see that we were able to get a very decent meal at the restaurant downstairs. It was disappointing that the air-conditioning wasn't working for the entirety of our stay and whilst, looking at the replies in the comments, the hotels view is that its for the comfort of all guests I can assure you that this guest wasn't comfortable and neither were any of the party I was travelling with. Maybe have the aircon switched on at the beginning of the season and let each room decide whether they want it on or not. On arrival it looked like the drawer units and desks in the room had been recently painted as they were sticky to the touch, think a pub that has had it's table wiped down poorly, the doors were also stuck. The room itself was of a good size and the view was breathtaking, the bathroom and shower were of a very good standard with stocks of gels, creams etc. The mini bar was decently stocked with soft drinks which are replenished daily although on one day it wasn't, others in our party reported the same thing across multiple days. One improvement that could be made in this area is to include a couple of cans of the wonderful Efes as its nice to have a cold one when getting ready in the evening or when you get back at night. You can get some at the bar to take back to the room anyway so wouldn't be a hardship. The bars were good, particularly the Rosebud where we had a particularly attentive waiter who looked after us, so hardworking that I'm not sure he actually sleeps. The sports bar was ok although they don't have spirits there and (so I'm told) the prosecco is a bit "off". The facilities, however, are very good. Evening entertainment wasn't very good during our stay, there's a huge stage there but it was only used on one occasion and it looked like that was for a private function which we crashed, unwittingly. Food options were very good throughout the week and the choices of drinks on offer were the best I've seen anywhere. The QR ordering system is a great concept but a bit hit and miss with delivery, sometimes drinks could take 20-30 minutes to arrive and some weren't delivered at all and on other days they would arrive within 5 minutes so it looks like a sheer volume and staff number issue. Also, if you were on of the people the moved a table away from its original location to somewhere else just expecting staff to know where the table has been moved to then have a little think about that. On several occasions we saw staff with a tray of drinks going around in circles looking for a moved table. All of the above said, we appreciate that it was early season and that thinks will improve as time goes on and it certainly wouldn't stop us coming again.

So I’m currently staying in this hotel room 4329 and my stay have been horrible to say the least. I’m with my two kids. And they are literally both sick because of how cold their pool are. Wether their indoor or outdoor pool this is a nightmare. We ask to put the heat up and they wouldn’t do it. Secondly, we had an extremely awful experience that I wouldn’t share out of modesty but we ask to change room. As the cleaning was not well done when we arrived we left them 2 days to do it in the new room. What a surprised when I discover that our new room is dirtier than the first one and the light is not even working. We are loosing a whole morning over this nonsense just because they are not able to do clean a room properly and check is everything is perfect. I still don’t have a room as I’m writing this. Our time on holiday is very precious and I’m just so so disappointed. Thirdly, the service is TERRIBLE. Literally no one is coming ask you if you need anything at breakfast, dinner, lunch. And when you do manage to catch someone they keep forgetting your order. You have to ask for forks, spoon, knifes. Maybe they just don’t want to work. I’m so so disappointed and can’t wait to go back home I’m literally counting the days right now !!!!!!!

We arrived at 23.40 on Sunday 28th April for our 7 night stay, check in was easy and a member of staff sat down to explain all about the resort . We were then taken to our room with our luggage by a staff member on a buggy. Our room was lovely and modern , bathroom was huge with a huge bath and shower room and nice outlook from our balcony in room 4206. After unpacking our first issue as we left to go for a drink at the Rosebud bar, the door wouldn't lock when shut, called reception to explain issue and waited about 30 mins for the fix while my wife and daughter waited in the bar. Upon returning to our room after a drink and bite to eat, I plugged my phone charger into a socket and tripped all of the lights, we waited until morning to report it we were tired and just needed a sleep after a long day. The issue was resolved in the morning, my contribution was holding the torch on my phone up for the guy to see better while fixing the fuse box. Two issues down in the first 10 hours of our stay we looked forward to the rest of our stay. Good points Always able to get a sunbed at any of the two outdoor pools, beach and bathing areas. Lovely views from anywhere on the resort and the beach although small was nice enough. Sports bar with free pool table, air hockey, table football, darts and 10 pin bowling and TV area for watching sports was good ,although when I asked for an alcoholic drink, the girl said we would need to go upstair to the Rosebud bar ???. Food was fine but some dishes repetitive and a few no description stew dishes, plenty of fresh fruit and breads, yoghurts , desserts, cheeses etc and a fresh omelette and toasties station. Drinks were fine as was the service in the main restaurant. Rosebud Bar very good selection of drinks premium spirits as well Grey Goose, Belvedere vodka, Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, Cocktails and so on, the service at this bar was pretty good as well. Not so Good The service at both the snack bars at the pools could be better, in some cases due to communication problems. Air Con in room didn't work. We had a good holiday but due to little ******* it could have been improved. We understand that as it was the start of the season, staff training wasn't maybe up to speed and communication problems will improve going forward. In hindsight the hotel would probably be better even a couple of weeks later than when we stayed. The guest relations and reception staff were good as well , the cleaning and maintenance staff work hard, I give my rating of 4 only for the issues I mentioned but understand they will be easily improved, we would probably return but a bit later in the season.

Absolutely fabulous week here again. It’s the little touches that make a difference Like a handwritten letter waiting for us in the room and a pillow menu ensuring a perfect sleep. The staff are very attentive with some shining stars Tahsin in particular is a credit to this establishment.

We have just had our third visit to Xanadu Island, our last being in August 2020. This time as there were three of us we opted for an Elegance Suite and I had emailed the hotel in advance to request a high floor and quiet spot- both wishes granted which was helpful. We arrived in the very early hours of the morning and were swiftly checked in and taken to our suite which was exceptionally clean and spacious. We took advantage of the 24 hr dining and had a sandwich each before bedding down. Breakfast the first morning was pretty much how I remembered it- a decent selection of all the usual breakfast items including lots of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as an omelette station. I liked the way the restaurant never felt busy however on the first morning we couldn't attract the attention of any waiting staff to get hot drinks for at least 20 mins. In the end, I went up and got my own Turkish tea and orange juices for the 3 of us and put it down to bad luck on the first day. We spent a lazy first day around the smaller pool and ate at the 'snack bar' there which was really good. Deniz and team behind the bar we extremely attentive and we never waited any time at all for drinks. Tuna salad here is really tasty as were the burgers and my son enjoyed the chicken *****s Evening meals in the buffet were fine- a good selection of foods, some a little colder than I like but always well cooked and often beautifully presented. Staff in the evening we much more attentive offering wine and water etc regularly. There are lots of fresh foods to choose from and the dessert section is like a work of art- just incredible. Only one a la carte restaurant was open- the Italian and we visited it 3 times during our stay. I thought the food was excellent and tables well dressed and presented as you entered. Staff here on all 3 occasions were very good, constantly asking if we needed drinks etc... also portions sizes in the restaurant were excellent. Second morning at breakfast, exactly the same as the first, no hot drinks offered in fact no staff spoke to us at all despite all 3 of us trying to attract attention so again I went and got drinks myself. Third morning one waiter did help us a lot with drinks etc and same again the day after. The hotel has a nice chilled out vibe - I enjoyed walking around the island and people watching. The beach area seems to have undergone some changes and in my opinion is not a s pleasing to the eye as it was and also felt smaller. The hotel is well kept and our air conditioning worked well although I barely used it. Decor is quite minimal but well maintained and rooms are quite comfortable however for us we did find the beds a bit too firm so by the end of the week we weren't really sleeping well at all. Bathrooms are really well designed and maintained. 5 days in to our week away ,new people arrived next door and we heard loud shouting one morning ( nothing the hotel can control at all we understand that) and lots of wa

A lot of hiccups along the way, service problems, room issues and no air con, asked for a fan, no luck, found out after 8 days (here for 11), that our door only locks part of the time, deadbolt, not sure what it does, room itself was lovely, run bath on arrival, dirty water, only redeeming feature was the food and the drinks, plenty of both. Massive shout out to the Salon, had a Turkish shave, manicure and pedicure, absolutely brilliant (Can and Fatma were total professionals). Also the animation team were outstanding. Shout out to my lovely Russian friend who kept my spirits up on the trip.
