The woman working in the front kicked me out because of my race. Yup, in 2023. Discrimination is a serious thing... I hope this place takes it seriously and fire that woman. If they do please contact me and I'll remove my review, I didn't stay since she kicked me out... it hurts to be treated like that.

Terrible lady that works as a receptionist. ******. Unhelpful. Rude. We decided to go to another place and cancel our reservation after talking with her for 3 minutes. I don't understand why they'd hire someone like that... the place looked fine.

Clean, easy check in, quiet sleep, working wifi, bathrooms and showers in good shape, lockers, shelf/storage and outlet at bed. Heat and aircon. The bed light is blinding and the common area is closed along with cafe/reception at night but it's a good location and a safe, comfortable stay. Plus an elevator so no taking the stairs!

This hotel is a bit far from beach staff could of made an effort to be more friendly no soap in bathroom not worth the money in winter time

The energy is amazing in this place. If you are looking for a nice, cheap and clean stay with proper wifi and AC, this is it. The staff is super friendly and down to earth. The guests are open and

The Camaleón hostel in Alicante is a disgraceful place, and those who run it and work at the reception are rude. We were calling from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. to let us know that we would be late to check in due to an unforeseen event. None of the 10 times we called did we get a response. In the end we arrived at the hostel the next day, and they told us that the reservation had been canceled when we didn't show up that day. Which is a lie, they lied to our faces, because later we called Booking Customer Service and they told us that the reservation had not been canceled, so they could give us a refund. This itself indicates that the room was still free, and they did not feel like giving it back to us. They just wanted to sell it again to make a profit, at the cost of leaving us, who had already paid for the room a month before, on the street. Literally. The attitude of the receptionist and the manager left a lot to be desired, they made no attempt to help us or find a solution. With a condescending and arrogant attitude. They treated us terribly. They did not want to give us an answer and they took away our reservation. Some SCORES.

Hostel without 'hostel flair'. Hardly any contact with other people. Facilities very simple. Cleaning approximately every two days. Very simple equipment. Location is ok.
