We visited villa Crespi for our anniversary. A wonderful retreat in a spectacular location. Especially in fall. Overall experience was great. We chose it for dining at Cannavacciuolo's renowned restaurant. Some disappointing details in both the room cleanliness and the restaurant plating, considering the very high expectations. Where do we begin! Paid for superior room 15 months before the holiday, organised by leger holidays. On arrival after getting in the room I had to call reception to check we had been given a superior room. Very small bathroom with shower and very tired looking. Room acceptable, until we looked out to find part of the building obscuring lake view. Dreadful noise from next door morning and very late every night, when I asked about it at reception I was told it was a guest! I knew full well it wasnt as no room number on the door......it was staff accommodation.....4 beds we saw as the door was left open. I asked to upgrade again told no available rooms. Food was basic and often inedible, definitely catered for coach holiday not the hotels full menu, standard was unacceptable. Bed was made daily and towels changed as necessary but sadly bathroom not cleaned all the week we were there. Breakfast was good and leila worked so hard in the breakfast room, always with a smile. Good position hotel on edge of village but sadly not all superior rooms got a good view. Outdoor areas and pool we're nice. Definitely needs more attention to detail, and would not recommend to anyone who expects a good standard. Wouldn't recommend leger either.

Breakfast is too good! The train station walks 300 meters. Opposite the lake can take a boat. Bathroom accessories are exquisite! Staff is very friendly and introduces many attractions! The lake room is great

Excellent position

The hotel is very comfortable and clean. The hotel is located less than 10 minutes from the central square of Orta. What is not liked · One neo: too short stay ... A point instead, a very unpleasant thing, but not because of management, but some guests. A dog in breakfast room that continued to drop during breakfast ... OK the animals allowed, now almost in every structure, but the owners that allow their four legs to disturb others, is quite irritant ...
