Maybe there is a bar next to it, it’s really noisy, I didn’t sleep all night, the price is cheap

This hostel offers an attractive price and a great location: close to the Rijksmuseum and Prinsengracht. However, there is no such thing as a free lunch. The flip side of the coin is a very tight location. There are three-tier beds, like on Indian trains...The highest of which is very uncomfortable to climb. And climb down too. Especially at night. Another unpleasant moment is the noise from the street from the bars working until the morning. I do not know how the locals live here. I sympathize with them, it's not easy to live in the tourist center of the world. They probably have windows with 100% insulation. So you won't be able to sleep well here.. Otherwise, it's fine. The staff is friendly. Clear.

IT was really nice, affordable and close to city centre. They've letted us inside few hours earlier, and even gave a free coffe on check out. Deffinitly coming back 😁

The location is at center of the city. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I had booked 6 persons mix dormitory shared bathroom, it's ok if you want to sleep in and stay out for the whole day. The lobby is cozy.

Hostel is eerie and high and narrow stairs. Not clean at all, the rooms are too small. I was in a room which included 3 beds in a bunk and there was only enough room for one person to stand up on the floor. I also wouldn’t recommend staying here if you’re tall as the beds are tiny. On a very loud street so bring earplugs if you want some sleep.

The location of the hotel is great, the problem is the facility and the staff. The rooms are really small to the point that you can't move around and are full of dust. The bunk beds did not have a ladder to climb up and the mattresses are so thin that you can feel the hard togs in the bed. The staff is incredibly rude, when we tried to ask for directions to a pharmacy we were told to "google it," when we left crumbs on the table after making sandwiches and threw out all the scraps, we were called back very rudely to sweep the table thoroughly demanding cleanliness from us that they do not offer. These are just a few of the numerous rudenesses we received in 3 days. Experience to be forgotten, totally not recommended, also because it is absolutely not worth the cost it has.

Choose another. People who work there are kind of rude. The beds and mattresses are horrible. It only accepts cash and it's a bit far from the center. Pay a little more and choose another one, that's what I'm going to do.

Worst hostel I have ever been to. In every possible way. I mean it ! Avoid at any cost !! They even ask me to provide good review if i want to store my bag in luggage room. If not, it cost 3 euro per bag..

What a smelly place, the worst hostel I ever saw. Bathrooms are for tiny kids, the stairs were made by blind people 300 years ago and the people that manage it are the thieves. Hopefully one day will burn.

I just left this hostel and its the worst hostel ive ever been to. It smells of **** inside the hostel, the beds are so skinny/worn out that you feel the wooden plank underneath it. My bed even cracked (I’m not more than 60kg). During my stay one of the other guests were sleepwalking and climbed into mine and another guests room while we were in the bed. When I (female 22) decided to tell the staff about this and telling them I felt too uncomfortable going back If it was alright if I could stay in the reception for a bit until I checkout. He just replied “it’s closed” so I walk around Amsterdam at 4 in the morning Cus I didn’t feel comfortable in my room. No lockers for your things, bathroom very tiny, and water flooding. Also one of the staff members stumbles into my room in the middle of the night, turns the lights on and changes a mattress, probably Cus someone complained.

A group of us, all clean women of a certain age stayed one night. My wife was ravaged by bed bugs. So big we could see them. Five days on she needs to go to the GP. When I emailed the hostel to advise them of the situation flatly denied having bedbugs. No plans to investigate, no desire to prioritise cleanliness. We are all disgusted. The hostel management clearly don’t care it’s purely about profit. AVOID ROOM 20 at all costs.

STAY AWAY!!! The place is a dump. There was actual poo on the floor in the restroom off the lobby. When we told them we couldn't stay because if was such a dump, they refused to refund ANY of our money even though we never stayed there.

During the check in they said it was cash only. It was not mentioned before. The room had an ensuite bathroom this is good. But the room was dirty, and when they change sheets they drag it on the dirty floor. I would avoid. BR

I think it's one of Amsterdam worst sleeping accommodations for money. WOW! 35€ per bed... and I don't know invest something back into your business.

The only good point is the location, close to the center, in the middle of pub/restaurant and many other center of interest. Otherwise, the room is so small that if you’re not sleeping, you cannot stay on it. Mattress are so uncomfortable and skinny that you touch the wood plank underneath when you are lay down. No commodities at all, you cannot put your stuff anywhere in the room, no shelf, no coat anger.. just mattress on which you can barely fit when you measure 1.75m. Bathroom and toilet…the smallest, I have ever seen, too small to sit on toilette, nothing to keep your clothes dry in shower. Very loudy noises all night long inside and outside the hostel. To run away absolutely. Would prefers to take an hostel a bit further to get comfort and good conditions.
