The rooms and hotel were kept nice and clean. Pool needs cleaning more often. Pool bar is the best place here and the staff in here are ace. Seemed to be short staffed in main bar in hotel and if you queued for the bar it took ages. Entertainment was diabolical. Most of the staff in restaurant were polite but one young girl was very rude when ask for cutlery… said she had ask someone else to get it but she was standing by the cabinet where it was all kept. Had to keep going to reception for extra water as the man that put water in rooms would not give me extra.. but he would to rest of family. The lady who books trips in the reception area was always in a rush .. wanted to book a few trip but she only had time to book one. The worst thing about this place was my granddaughter went back to her room and found two cleaners laying on the beds looking at there phones , they sat up when she came in then laid back down… grandson had to go in and asked them to leave. Will not be returning.

I traveled with my 2 year old child. It was a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, varied, with many options for children, the entire hotel staff was very kind, many activities for both children and parents.

Very nice atmosphere, nice and helpful staff. clean rooms, very good food despite the end of the season. The girls from aegeo spas were very polite, Nancy who gave me the massage is a professional, after her wonderful massage I felt relaxed. It was a great time spent with the family 😊

I read previous negative comments and agree that at the main restaurant, the food was often lukewarm. However, there was always a range of salads, cold meats, cheeses, pancakes, fruit etc. so always found an enjoyable meal. Hot food was available at the souvlaki corner, creperie, and in the evening at the Asian, Italian and Greek restaurants. 2 of which were also open at lunch time. The staff were delightful, (including those on reception). Being retired, we always travel at the end of the summer season, knowing that many summer staff will have returned to University and staffing levels may be lower than optimum. All other hotels will be experiencing the same problem. As for 'drinks being watered down', they are 'local' drinks and are manufactured with a lower alcohol content, not 'watered down'. Every 'All Inclusive' hotel we have been in over the years uses lower alcohol drinks. This did not detract from our enjoyment and is more desirable than experiencing drunkenness or hangovers. The beach is lovely and if you wear beach shoes, you will experience no problem with stones. There are lots of fish, so very enjoyable snorkelling. Ignore the negative comments. We had a fabulous time and found everyone very friendly. We did not want our holiday to end and would love to return any time.

This is the last night at this hotel. Worst place we have ever stayed in. Hotel is dated. Rooms ok. Drinks watered down. Food was really Bad, cold with random sauces on. My husband lived on bread rolls most of the week.

The rooms are lovely and clean. The spa was amazing. I had the anti stress massage with Nancy and I can not recommend this lovely lady enough. Excellent place we will definitely be returning in the near future 😀

Avoid this hotel, staff extremely rude. Especially the lady on reception, rolling her eyes at the slightest request or question, no idea what her name was as she wore different name tags most days. We were even told by another member of staff to just ignore her and that she’s just grumpy and overworked. Entertainment wasn’t great, drinks watered down, food poor, mini fridge in room rarely restocked, bad smell in our room which we reported and again we were met with a roll of the eyes. So many other beautiful options in Crete so do some research first.

We stayed for one week in the serita beach hotel…staff here are very warm and friendly and the room is lovely..beds are comfortable and the mini fridge gets replenished with water and juice daily…beautiful views of the beach 400m away…never go hungry with breakfast lunch and dinner and snacks and drinks all day…make sure u book a taste of the 3 independent restaurants Italian Asian and Greek as foods made to order and service which was lovely…a special thank you to Nancy in the spa who made my Sunday morning a break from the kids for a relaxing all over body massage…she was friendly and professional as was the other lady that introduced me to the treatments….would definitely stay here again

We had a lovely, relaxing time at the hotel. The staff were very friendly. We do wish we spent a bit more time looking into the location a bit more before booking as it was quite secluded but the time we spent in the hotel was very good. We would certainly recommend booking the restaurants as we found the food there was much better.
