Travelodge Halkyn

I was so impressed by the amazing lovely manner of both evening and morning staff at this hotel - THANK YOU!!

Looks a bit neglected on the outside, but of the standard we would expect on the inside. ( though a bit of wear and tear ) Staff were loverly and it's a good place to explore, though not near the major tourist areas. Just off the A55 but couldn't hear traffic in our room. Access from A55, or on minor road from Northop.

Ellie wonderful supervisor who went an extra mile to help us settle and gave us recommendations to visit pubs and places nearby. Rooms were absolutely great neat and clean, smelled fresh. Did not expect the hotel to be the one of the best hotels I've been too

This hotel is a great place to stay if you're going to visit different parts of Wales.The room was big, with the main double bed plus 2 single beds for the kids and some space to move around.

Stopped there on our way to airport. As usual our room was clean. It's really quiet considering it's on A55 -we always have a good sleep. Staff friendly as always, if you need anything they are more than happy to help. It's always a great stay and a great deal ( weekday booking).

Halkyn is obviously one of the older hotels. The welcome from the staff was first class, however the building is starting to look a bit run down and our room smelt a bit musty. The window had been left open in an attempt to improve the environment.

We stayed here for one night, chosen as it was the best price hotel n the area. Room was comfortable, clean and spacious. suited our needs ok, no issues at all, great value and friendly reception staff.

I have been staying at Halkyn on and off for the best part of 20 years, and as always had a fantastic stay. Despite being on the A55 the noise from the road is minimal, and there is plenty of parking so no fighting for a space. The staff are really great. They are friendly, helpful and always have a smile, and if you want it, time for a chat. Halkyn is well situated as a base for travelling both ways on the A55 into North Wales and Cheshire without having to travel long extra distances because of the road being a dual carriageway. The room was clean, well supplied, and there was plenty of extra tea and coffee available if it was wanted. Despite being on the A55, the room was quiet and a good night's sleep was possible. I have used Halkyn as a base many times before over the last 20 years and will definitely be staying again in the future.
