Professional staff with very clean, nice and comfortable rooms, strong WiFi, near to the metro station ( 300 meters) near to the archaeological sites, 10-15 minutes walk or 1-2 stations by metro. Best Hotel for holidays and business.

Nice hotel with professional staff and clean rooms, only 300 metres ( 2 minutes ) from metro station, strong WiFi everywhere, and very good breakfast. Is an honest hotel with low prices for what it provides and the rooms have all the amenities you need.

I stayed 3 nights at hotel solomou Location s not recommended.the neighborhood is creepy. Rooms are noisy in front of the elevators and stairs. Bed linen not very clean . Staff is friendly and the reception is 24 hrs wich is good for Security.

Very decent hotel and good welcome, but located in a disreputable area. You have to take a taxi to go to the city center, it's safer, especially in the evening. Clean rooms and bathroom

I stayed at this hotel through the Hurb agency. It is five blocks from Omônia square, which is the center of division of the city's main attractions. The hotel is simple, but very honest. Great bed, good shower (tight), minibar and cool working air conditioning. I had a problem in a room with air conditioning, and was promptly relocated to another with everything in order. The staff are VERY honest and helpful. I had a very pleasant personal experience with this, as I had problems with the reservation that were resolved with the local staff with a lot of attention and kindness. The location of the hotel, like everything else around Praça Omônia (which resembles Praça Sete in BH) is frequented by homeless people and **********, but nothing that interferes with careful walking and good accommodation. I used the breakfast one day and it was very good, within the hotel's standards. I really liked it and recommend the hotel as a whole, it is great value for money and the location is great for the main tours and close to the Omônia metro. Thank you, Solomou!

Low quality hotel, old rooms, weird a**osphere. Breakfast ok, the owner is a thick who stays there complaining about everything and everything. The location is decent, as it is close to good stores, by uber it is very cheap to get to Monastirak and the Acropolis. I don't recommend the stay, but if it's for a short period of time, it's not horrible.

Very friendly and family hotel but present in a more than questionable area. Overall clean room with beds that are redone in the morning and towels changed. Pleasant and welcoming staff. Small flat, the bedding of some beds is equal to a wooden table.

A fairly clean hotel with well-maintained common areas in a neighborhood that leaves something to be desired: ************, hard **********, rubbish... The rooms are quite spacious, except for those of 3, we sleep a few centimeters from each other. Some bathrooms are dilapidated, the shower head leaked a lot and we were not the only room with this problem. Another problem is the toilet drains, which are often clogged. No solutions if it happens to you in the evening, you have to wait until the next day and go down to the room... not very practical. We later learned that we were responsible: "no paper in the toilets" literally means that you have to put the toilet paper in the trash... That said, the reception staff are very friendly and do the maximum to make the stay pleasant. The meals are correct but not very varied: In 5 days, we had little choice, spaghetti bolognese, rice in a loop, a few pieces of meat, flamby and fruit constitute the only dessert offered every day! I do not recommend half board (except possibly for one night).

If I could rate it worse, I would. Just awful. The hotel was chosen by Hurb, in a travel package we bought during the pandemic. Lucky for us, it was just one night. The hotel is old, it smells bad, the elevator is bizarre, the reception was made by a lady with a few friends face, and the other day in the morning we heard shouting in Greek, we thought it was an argument (actually in Greek we don't know whether it was or not!) and when we arrived at the reception there were two employees (detail: we were in the room on the second floor and from there the screams could be heard). The area is very ugly, full of graffitied buildings and beggars, and at night what was already bad got worse. A strange area, which causes fear to walk during the day, imagine the night. The subway station is about five blocks away, which I don't see a problem for walking. But in this place… We even considered staying in another hotel, but as it was only for one night, we stayed. I think it was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.
