Good place if sky city isn t available...rooms are ok size.comfy bed

The room is clean, with a little sea view. Bright enough. Near the Sky Tower. Convenient. Reception is good. Just a section of sound insulation. The most authentic shower head is super powerful.

We liked everything. The room was very light, just perfect. The price was extremely hight dues to the pink concert. Breakfast was good. I can only recommend the hotel.

Excellent location. Very good service. Bathroom could be a bit more spacious. It is a tight fit and we aren’t big people!

Rydges is very central to resteraunts, sky city and a short walk to the Viaduct. The rooms are small, however the facilities are very clean and we enjoyed the happy hour at the bar and meeting new people

Rude staff at reception and left valuable item and when contacted to inform of my mistake was told disposed of super rude

Reception staff were not helpful, eould have paid for breakfast but was not offered on arrival, room was very basic for the price

After a long flight, i arrived early morning. The room as expected was not ready as other guests had not checked out. I was told to wait in the lobby and as rooms became available they would let guests into them. After 7 hours sitting in the lobby, and being the last sitting, i got a room, others that arrived after me on flights 3 hours later than mine had already been given rooms. So not a good start.

Location clean, staff was good, but could have been better, called desk asked for lotion delivered to room and mone was ever delivered. Staff was very polte abd cordial

The staff at Rydges Auckland were amazing. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They arranged an early checkin to one of our rooms so we could store our luggage there. They checked our luggage after checkout so we could utilize the day before our cruise started. They were helpful with arranging meals and suggestions on things to do and see. The hotel itself was modern and clean. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The location was excellent. Walkable to SkyTower, the port, Victoria Park and Albert’s Park and to shopping.

3 pm checkin, so if your flight arrives early morning and you wan to sleep, reserve the prior night for late check-in. Comfortable, clean, large rooms. Older hotel, well maintained. Resturant with great variety, 24 hours. Bar and coffee stand on site, good muffins. Grocery and liquor store across the street. Taxi charges $30 NZ anywhere in Central core. Uber is fast, half the price. Auckland is built on hills, so Uber over walking. Nice, friendly staff.

We saw many better looking properties in the area and our stay was way too expensive for the quality of stuff provided. The parking was a rip-off and we chose this hotel for the ******* VIP access which did not help in anyway.

The coffee bar in the corner of the lobby was outstanding, especially the service provided by Senar the barista. He made us feel welcome and at home. Coffee was very good, paninis were excellent.
