By far the worst hotel and worst rooms we ever booked. For starters, the receptionist was very unhelpful and unprofessional. The room is nothing like in the photos! At first glance it looked clean BUT when I left the door open to get fresh air in, I noticed at least 15 different bodily hair scattered between the bedsheets, on top and underneath! It was disgusting and OBVIOUSLY the sheets had NOT been changed! When reported to the reception and asked to come and see for herself, she said it wasnt her job to do and called the cleaning lady to change the sheets in our presence, which she did. During that time, we noticed, to our horror, that the bed pillows had Yellow stains everywhere, so did the mattress! It was totally GROSS and We decided to leave immediately! We paid 190 eu for 2 nights we did not stay there more than 30 minutes. Asked for a refund, the reception directed us to the hotel Manager. Not only did he refuse to refund us, but he shrugged it off, like its no big deal!!! He was completely unprofessional, did not even offer us an upgrade ( not that we would have stayed anyways). We insisted on the refund but he refused multiple times, even though the room hygiene was appalling and we did not use the accommodation. Our day was ruined. We would like to warn unsuspected holidaymakers as to avoid the Blue Harbour boutique hotel in Ayia Napa at all costs! In the end, we booked a 5 star brand hew hotel, so luckily our holiday wasnt completely ruined, but booking last minute cost us a small fortune. I hope noone else has to go through this and deal with such poor standards of accommodation and customer service. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
