The building is monumental, the staff is exceptionally attentive and helpful. There is a wide range of possibilities for activities in the hall, a heaven for children with a Vespa and a piano included. Our room was simple, nice and clean, suitable for a family with many children. The breakfast was rich and delicious. There is a patio surranded by the building. Our children had so much fun running around there. The whole atmosphere is so friendly and peaceful. I wish we could have extended our staying.

The room was four-fold, but it seemed double with adding another double bed (it could not even move or open the furniture as close as it was), When we arrived the water was brown, and it took a lot to warm up; the buffet breakfast was quite complete, but the coffee was only burned. The hotel is very comfortable for people who need to find a hotel near the entrance of the motorway for work or need. I haven't enjoyed breakfast so I can't give any judgement. Very clean, quiet rooms (not feeling the traffic of the cars) and quite spacious. I recommend to put at least one more coat in the room. Experience to be made again. I will certainly take back here in my next stay in Faenza

My wife and I were attending a wedding in the Villa Abbondanzi and decided to stay for another seven days. The receptionist was extremely helpful, and warned us that the hotel was fairly remote. We wanted a quiet break so that was OK. The hotel was busy on the night of the wedding and we could only get an upstairs room - nice room, but we are both disabled and the stairs were a challenge. They moved us into a ground floor suite the next day - clean and comfortable. Our only quibble is that it could have done with a table in the balcony/living room. We had planned to swim and relax but unfortunately the outdoor pools were closed. We had a nice swim in the Sensory pool (outdoor but heated) but this then also closed. So we made use of the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. A weird side effect was that the pool bars also closed and the main hotel had no bar - a hotel with no bar is a very odd concept. It didn't worry us but I can see it being a problem for some. But what a lovely place. There is a forest of magnificent, mature trees, a flamingo pool, a vegetable garden and storks nesting on the lampposts. Everything is clean and well kept. The Five Spoons (I forget the Italian name) is a very good fish restaurant, and the Pink Flamingo is very high class with a wonderful tasting menu - not cheap, but a bucket-list experience. Things may be different in the summer, but this hotel is perfect for a quiet break off season. The taxi service to the nearest town (Faenza) is inadequate but that's not the fault of the hotel. A final warning though - the lovely environment attracts flying insects as well as guests. Bring plenty mosquito repellant.

Hotel Vittoria, in the centre of Faenza, can really be said to the city hotel, for the location, the characteristics of the structure and, if we want, the lack of adequate competition. An ancient palace, a beautiful reception, the magnificent breakfast room from the refreshing ceilings, make the living pleasant and pleasant. In the second floor, we found a double room, comfortable and wide, for a third bed. But the matter does not affect the judgment. As said, really notable breakfast room, this of choice and quality. The hotel is well located with enough parking and good accessibility. Surprisingly for this chain, there was actually friendly staff available for checkin, not only the usual checkin-machines. For tours to the city, you can rent bikes at moderate 5 EUR per day. About half of the bikes look in reasonably good condition. So that was very good. The lobby has many self-service food and drink offerings, so that you can get by without going to stores. Else, just across the highway bridge is a big shopping mall. The rooms are spacious and the bed is according to our preferences. The critical downside: We had two rooms - and both had issues: One the AC was leaking, even with the AC off. The other the bathroom floor was very wet - it seemed the water was leaking from the wall or the toilet. When announced to the reception, they offered to clean up. But no repair was done or room changed. So the problem repeated the next day. During the day, the cleaning staff is super noisy, as if they would be trying to break through the wall with the vacuum-cleaner. And at night, the guests attracted to this hotel seam to bear all decency having lively and lengthy discussions on the hall ways (we are talking about 11p to 1 am, and not just one party being the issue), and continuing in the rooms with slamming doors every few minutes, puking and laughing. So while this hotel could be very nice, it fails the criteria of being a place where you actually can sleep and relax for the next days tour. Therefore, I wouldn‘t recommend staying here, nor do I think I‘d return again.

Sono stata ospite dell'hotel per una notte insieme alle mie due classi liceali . Sin dal nostro arrivo stati accolti con gentilezza e professionalità (cosa rara nelle gite scolastiche). Agli studenti sono state assegnate delle camere ”a tema cinematografico” (Pirati dei Caraibi, Western, Jurassic Park....) molto apprezzate dai ragazzi. Tutte le stanze erano spaziose, pulite e dotate di ogni comfort. Alla cena e alla colazione sono stati serviti piatti buoni e abbondanti. Che dire? Da consigliare vivamente!

Words alone cannot describe the dissatisfaction here. We arrived last night after a long days journey. Four star???? Lovely young lady at reception. That’s it for compliments. Unfortunately, we have prearranged transportation tomorrow and must stay another evening. The hallway carpets are filthy, the outside chairs are cracked, the shower has mold. One room looks as if someone tried to break in. We went thru the stairway rather than the lift and the door remained opened. Anyone could have entered. I went back up to close it. Just found a disgusting creature! See photos!

La scelta del Hotel Bisanzio è stata ottima per la sua posizione in pieno centro storico di Ravenna (tra l'altro città meravigliosa). Tutto il personale è molto gentile, accogliente e professionale. La colazione, servita dalle 07 alle 10 più che soddisfacente. Unica pecca, ahimè, è l'aspetto liso e vecchio della camera con tanto di moquette che non aiuta a migliorare impatto e che ”urla” una richiesta di ammodernamento. Nonostante questo, le Signore addette alla pulizia facevano trovare la camera ogni giorno in ordine e pulita.
