I would like to express my gratitude for the exceptional service provided by the hotel reception staff during our stay in Astera Resort Canggu. When we encountered a problem with our room, the staff was quick to assist and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable and comfortable experience. They not only resolved the issue promptly but also upgraded us to a more luxurious room for the remainder of our vacation. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and delightful stay in Bali.

Really disappointed with the management of hotel and trip.com.. booked this stay for my wedding anniversary I received the wrong room.. I booked the smart one bedroom villa, however the hotel claims that they received the reservation as one loft bedroom villa..I paid more for the smart one bedroom villa.. they hotel management asked to me to settle this issue with trip.com.. informed trip.com and they told me no error on their end the correct room was reserved..so I went back to the hotel management and they said they have evidence of the room reserved.. All I’m asking for is refund for the price difference, even I never get to stay in the room I booked I’m fine with it.. it’s really frustrating we came to Bali to have relaxing time for our anniversary but ending being super stressed up with this issue.. The room aesthetic wise looks nice however the hygiene was very bad.. the hot tub filled with tiny bugs went we arrived.. the shower rain has water stain all over and the shower knob was so rusty you can’t even turn on the shower.. the management was so bad I requested for a slightly late check out timing 1pm since my flight was in the evening and they refused my request.. which made me to rush my check out for the stay.. if you want complimentary service pls don’t book this hotel cause everything they charge even simple room decoration they overcharge..

Astera was amazing! The rooms are so luxe; very aesthetic design and super clean with everything you need. The staff are really friendly and accomodating to any needs. I was on crutches due to a foot injury in Australia and they assisted me the whole time and made adjustments. Will definitely be back! The villa is a little bit out of time (only 5 minute by car/scooter) but enjoyed having a quieter spot and going in when needed.

Worst stay in Canggu, Bali. Won’t ever come back their again. Next to a big road which means really noisy, couldn’t sleep cause of probably not very clean linen. I have stayed in many places during the holidays in Bali but regretted off booking at Astera.

The location is good as it is right in front of downtown Janggu. The main pool is not big, but since it is a private house, it is mainly a private pool. It's empty when you use it haha. It's not loud or noisy, but it's a great place to spend time with other travelers.

Nice hotel, clean, close to the attractions, spacious rooms and good staff. The 2 floors room was really beautiful and fun. Recommend for families and couples.

Music sounds good in the room This is a state-of-the-art facility. However, the breakfast is a bit poor and the staff are friendly but not flexible....

first thing that they haven’t mentioned while booking is they will take 500000 IDR as security money from you and will refund when you checkout so please keep in mind as this charged me a transaction fee from my card. Second the service was not upto the mark like sometime i have to call twice to get my bottle fill with water.

It was a perfect location and the villa is so beautiful and brand new . Just that the swimming pool is too deep without a staircase

Great stay, a little way from the beach but manageable. Awesome loft stay, with a beautiful hammock in the floor. Definitely will stay again!
