Really nice hotel. Great location next to train station and buses, easy walking distance to city centre. Staff were lovely and allowed me to work from the lounge the following day aftee I checked out with no fuss.
Breakfast is served but as far as I could tell, not lunch or dinner. I don't think there is room service either. But there are restaurants and takeaways close by.

The Alex was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was friendly and responsive. Walkable to Munsteplatz and restaurants. Everything was as described on website. We had an enjoyable stay.

Quiet boutique hotel in Freiburg, close to the old city centre, which is easily accessible on foot. We adjusted our booking so only got to experience a twin room (we had a double room previously). The room was very small, but clean. The single bed was comfortable, but the pillow was not. We had breakfast included; they don't have a good selection but then it is a small hotel. The property itself is great, with a cosy study where we had hot chocolate and relaxed after a day of exploration.
