Hotel Continental Balneario de Panticosa

Clean environment and rooms, the lobby with fireplace in the center is very welcoming, the staff are friendly. The location is truly suggestive and the structure is overall well designed and functional but requires radical renovation.

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. I made a reservation to spend a few days in Panticosa and relax in the SPA, but the day before traveling a weather alert was declared due to strong winds that prevented driving on the road, I also tried to move but the wind hit more every time we went up. strong the wind. I called the hotel to cancel the reservation and they told me that they were going to charge me 50% of the amount as a penalty. It seemed like abuse to me, since I was not to blame for the situation and it was a cause of force majeure. When I returned home I tried to talk to the manager, but he refused to assist me, so I sent an email and they told me that it is not cause to cancel. (If you look at the OCU for hotel cancellation due to bad weather or force majeure, it turns out that I have every right to get my money back) I felt cheated and cheated by this hotel, which only cares about money and not the customer satisfaction. I will not book again at this hotel or any of its chain. It is a shame that they treat people who want to enjoy a vacation like this.

Totally neglected, old hotel. They haven't touched anything for a thousand years. Burnt out light bulbs, bathroom full of stains on the walls. Dirty corridors. It's worth seeing. It's not worth the price you pay anywhere. The place is wonderful, yes.

Hotel in very poor condition and VERY POORLY MAINTAINED. In the corridors of the hotel and in the spa there are huge cobwebs. The rooms have handprint stains on the walls. The rooms were NOT cleaned every day. For lunch or dinner you have to go down to the town of Panticosa because there are no restaurants nearby. Price NOT according to the poor quality of the Hotel.

4 star hotel that would give it 1 star at most, the facilities were very outdated both in the room and the rest, the television was very old, the buffet was not 4 star at all, very poor and there were lines for breakfast that reached at stairs, bad organization. The views were very beautiful from the window and the silence and tranquility was very pleasant as was the entire environment that surrounded the hotel.

The stars of the hotels today we all know that they indicate practically nothing. Special mention to the "brasserie" where you eat well - we liked it, good food and at a good price (except for the desserts that are overpriced and out of market); and also the waitress from the brasserie was very professional. Curiously, in the brasserie they don't turn tables (they fill the ones that are there once, just one shift and that's it - being able to bill more, they don't do it, leaving the last customers out...). The animation of the hotel is good and is appreciated. Conclusion Hotel Continental: good value for money. If you know and understand where you are going, you have to admit the hotel is not bad at all. We will be back. Points in favor: spacious and spacious hotel, breakfast and dinner hours OK, the breakfast bacon is real (important for me), the bottled water from Panticosa is sublime, the welcome drink is great for booking directly on its own website. Negative points: decoration and comfort of common areas very spartan and basic, the buffet desserts are very mediocre. And I mention the details of the rooms separately, because it goes with the horrible design of the building. Special mention Building: The design of the hotel itself, common areas and rooms is appalling. Renowned architect, but... And be careful, I'm not talking about the deterioration of the venue in these fifteen years, but about the original project itself. The architectural design and distribution of spaces is a disaster. The hotel would need to be remodeled and updated by an avant-garde and professional hotel chain (which logically expects to recover the investment, but it can be done, this hotel can shine and shine well)

Hemos pasado 2 noches en el hotel Continental de supuestas 4 estrellas… Se observa una falta de mantenimiento enorme… suelos rallados tanto en zonas comunes como en habitacion, sillón de habitación (superior) que se le veía la espuma… Nos cambiaron las toallas, pero nos pusieron una grande y una pequeña (en lugar de 2 grandes de ducha) La puerta de la habitación no cierra bien y para cerrarla hay que dar portazo fuerte (molestando a otros clientes) Supuesta cama de matrimonio (hay dos camas unidas y se nota mucho la separación…y por tanto es incómodo dormir junto a tu pareja con esa separación en medio) Falta de información por parte del personal de recepción (podrían explicarte cuando llegas cuáles son las opciones de ocio, y restaurantes y qué instalaciones tiene el hotel, aparte del balneario) Cola enorme para entrar al buffet…Comida sin sal, escasa variedad, escasa variedad de fruta…no es zumo natural de naranja, no se ve ni una loncha de jamón (aunque sea serrano)… repito… hablamos de un hotel de 4 estrellas…que a pesar de un pésimo mantenimiento y servicio mantiene sus precios elevados!!!!! Si pagas bastante pero está bien, todo ok. Si pagas poco, pero faltan servicios etc, todo ok. Pero si pagas mucho y no está bien, ahí está el problema… Hay que pagar en función de lo que se ofrece y en este caso no se corresponde en absoluto!!!!! Lo BUENO: El entorno precioso…pero una pena que haya tanto edificio derruido, muchas obras a medio terminar y mucha dejadez en general… Mis respetos merecen los camareros, que lo dan todo para intentar mantener el servicio lo mejor posible!! Íbamos con una idea y nos ha decepcionado…NO LO RECOMENDARÍA en ABSOLUTO…una pena…porque con una buena gestión sería un lugar increíble!

En marzo decidimos celebrar nuestro 25 aniversario en el hotel balneario de panticosa, donde estuvimos hace 25 años. La experiencia no ha sido nada buena, teniendo en cuenta que es un hotel de 4 estrellas, que su precio por noche no es nada barato, 174 €, creo que debería estar mejor acondicionado. La bañera desconchada y con moho, con u a altura para entrar o salir descomunal, las toallas viejas y desilachadas,. La calefacción en los pasillos brilla por su ausencia, por lo que pasa frío cuando te diriges al balneario y te congelas cuando vuelves ya que lo haces mojado. Del bufet ni hablar, poco surtido y repetitivo y era lo único que había para poder desayunar, comer y cenar, los demás restaurantes cerrados.
