Praktik Garden

Stayed here when we went to Barcelona. Very good location, about 10mins walk to the main shopping area, lots of food, coffee and pastry which were very decently priced and good quality. The hotel itself is cozy, with a common outdoor space for you to relax with friends. The free donuts and coffee were also excellent and above all, and the warmth of the friendly Spanish people made us enjoy the travel to Spain.

Welcoming hotel in a good location.

If you are looking for a chic, reasonably priced, and comfortable place to stay in Barcelona this is it. This is a gem of a hotel just off of Passeig de Gràcia, one of the main boulevards in the city. You are within walking distance of many restaurants and 2 of Gaudi’s houses are on this street, 5 minutes from the hotel. It is in the middle of 3 very close metro stations. You are 10-15 minutes away by metro or 20 minutes walking to most sites like Sagrada Família or the Picasso Museum. It is very easy to get around from this central location. You hardly know that the hotel is there walking down the quiet side street, but once you open the red door, you find yourself in a modern, garden oasis. The lobby is beautifully done with plants and a wall of books that has truly been transformed into a piece of art. Nothing was overlooked when making this hotel. The open-air patio lounge is full of tropical plants and places to relax in the sun, or have a latte and muffin in the attached indoor lounge that I would love to have in my own house. The rooms are clean and bright with tasteful and modern art and the bathrooms are some of the best designed ones I have stayed in, even at much higher price points. The care they took in choosing the dark slate blue subway tiles on the walls, the black and white tiles on the floor, and the antique looking doors are truly stunning. This is not a cookie cutter hotel. It is a unique, boutique hotel that has an amazing and knowledgeable staff.

The hotel was clean and the outside garden was wonderful. The location was perfect, very close to shopping, metro and restaurants.

The Praktik Garden is well located near many tourist areas. It is just a few blocks from two subway stations as well. It is very clean and the staff is very helpful. The hotel is tastefully decorated but the rooms are extremely small and basic, good for the price but next time we’ll pay more to get more space and more than a small coffee area.

I loved the property. Room was small but charming. Staff was friendly. Only complaint is I wish the room had a safe and ironing board.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Very clean, comfortable bed and great shower. Tea and coffee available in the morning at the garden room and area.
