Hotel Queens - Adults Only

Good location for food and drink, no parking however and the multi-storey car park is €24 per day which is roughly a 8 min walk. Room was basic and there was a really bad smell in the room which I assume was coming from the bathroom drains. The breakfast was really good.and the roof top bar is a nice touch It’s just a pity about the smell in the room it spoilt our stay

We were upgraded to a large first floor room, with a balcony overlooking the square at the start of Tapas Alley as the first room was right beside the elevator. It was superb, with large bathroom, two very comfortable beds and spotlessl. Also cleaned and serviced every day with fresh towels etc. The roof terrace was very inviting. I am in my late seventies, my partner late sixties and we were not in the least disturbed by the large gatherings in the square every night. The staff were simply excellent and the added bonus of a cooked breakfast just made the holiday. I think those who wrote negative reports of the Queens were expecting 5 star accomodation at 2 star prices. It was excellent value for money and the Old Town beach, prices, tapas bars and restaurants made the stay really enjoyable. We would not hesitate to book again.

So we stayed the 12th till 16th April. First of the hotel had over booked lucky for us I had booked earlier but not so lucky for the group of girls who had one room less so got moved for the night. The rooms are small but okay. The breakfast is poor, 1 hot drink and only 1 thing allowed of the menu we did ask for fruit with our breakfast one morning but got told no only one item allowed. We only ate there twice as it came stone cold. Location is perfect. Staff are friendly. Now the thing that bothered us THE SMELL, the bathrooms absolutely stunk that bad we had to mask the smell with perfume before entering. This isn't a one of this happens in all rooms so be warned.

Don’t know where the last people stayed but I don’t think it was here! This place is brilliant and has been since the minute we got here. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Rooms, although small, are very clean and f have everything you need. Hair dryer, iron, lovely bed, complimentary toiletries, free safe and coffee and tea making facilities in room. Room was cleaned daily, towels were changed daily and bedding changed at least once. There were some loud people staying in hotel that is not managements fault. They are just disrespectful people who have had too much to drink and behave like ******. On the whole, for £30 a night in the heart of old town Benidorm , I don’t think you could go wrong. Well done all staff and management.

Love Benidorm and had a great time…but would not recommend Hotel Queens. There are so many better alternatives. Budget hotel so obviously expect basic rooms. But awful constant smell of drains in rooms and on roof terrace - couldn’t sit there for long. No towel change in 6 days, cleaner made the beds and left a loo roll one day. No cleaning done. Paper thin walls, sound insulation so poor you can hear neighbours’ conversations etc. so clearly that I thought they were in my room. Stayed there as a group of 8 and all but one room was extremely small. Not a deal breaker, but worth mentioning as it’s not easy to move around. Basic but ok breakfast, available until 11am, but female manager was really rude when we arrived at 10.45. The hotel attracts stag/hen parties so we were woken up most nights by shouting/arguing in corridors (and we weren’t in bed early). Customer service by the management was awful. Don’t work in hospitality if you can’t be pleasant and helpful. Really unprofessional and clearly inexperienced. Was stopped from using the loo to freshen up when checking out - no reasonable explanation given. It’s cheap, located close to beach & restaurants (very noisy into early hours with groups sat outside & bottle bins being emptied) but for us the bad far outweigh the good when there’s so much choice in the area. Won’t be back.

Lovely hotel, situated in a great spot in the old town. spotless, our room was cleaned every day, little bottles of toiletries left in the bathroom. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely book again, it will be the first hotel I look to see for availability.

Rooms - clean. Small rooms. 2 single beds pushed together. We booked a double bed. The beds are not clipped together, so they won't stay together. Kettle in the room but no tea, coffee and, milk extra. Tiny bathroom. You will definitely need ear plugs. But mainly for internal noises from Rooms next door. Breakfast OK. Some staff really friendly, some not so. Would I come to this hotel again - No

This small hotel has everything you need for a short stay in Benidorm. Ideal location in centre of old town with views of the ocean and small but compact rooms. Breakfast is ordered from a menu, so hot every time. Staff are so helpful and rooms cleaned everyday. Roof terrace is a plus with views across the town. Many bars and restaurants on door step so it can be a bit noisy at night but that’s Benidorm!
