Best hostel! I really enjoyed the environment of it, super clean and it has a vintage concept. The breakfast could be slightly better but overall can’t complain. And it is on the opposite side of a beach, in 2 mins foot you are there :) couldn’t ask for more

Great location near to the restaurants and bars.
Prepare well for the noise near around in the night. But of course you will be a night person when choosing this area.

Very nice stuff! Nice pool. There is a tablet tannins and they do a lot of activity! Very close to all the discos and pub’s.

A hostel where you intend to stay for 1 night but end up staying 2 nights. The breakfast pancakes come out beautifully. You can also choose a different menu. Because there are so many guests, noise is unavoidable.

Our stay at the Mayan Monkey Hostel in Cancun was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for our entire experience.
The staff at Mayan Monkey went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, but it was Roxy who truly stood out. Her exceptional service, sweet demeanor, and personal touch made our stay unforgettable. Not only was she attentive to our needs, but she also surprised me with a delightful birthday dessert and mini celebration. It was a gesture that truly touched our hearts and exemplified the level of care and attention to detail that sets Mayan Monkey apart.
The atmosphere at the hostel was vibrant and welcoming, with a perfect blend of relaxation and social interaction. The facilities were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The room was great for the price.
Didn’t seem like they clean the bathroom at all while I stayed.
Toilet was broken keep flushing the water every few minutes all day all night !
Water around the hotel smells very very strong and looked very dirty .. not to swim.
swimming pool was supposed to accessible till 22:00 but because they had an event so I could not go in where the pool was.
But if you go there to just sleep it’s good for few days :)

Perfect location right across the street from public beach access, bus transportation, and a short 5 minute walk from the downtown hotel zone. Especially loved Roxy who was helping serve at the hostel in the evenings. Her outgoing and smiley personality made it that mych more enjoyable
