The Waltzing Weasel B&B

we booked the B&B last minute for a quick getaway, we had a choice of 2 and after reading the reviews we had to book the Waltzing weasel and meet Carol!! we were not disappointed... amazing host! room was lovely, fully stocked with an arrangement of drink options and replenished after the first nights stay!!!! lovely plentiful freshly cooked breakfast with plenty of options and they are happy to accommodate any requests , with a side order of the lovely Carol in the morning , highly recommend and we will definitely be returning :)

Lovely place, all staff were really friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great with lots of choices. Rooms were very big too. New mills was a 30 minute walk away where there was a few pubs and restaurants. Would definitely stay again…..

Lovely room, amazing breakfast and great facilities. The owners have mastered the balance between being friendly and being non-intrusive, giving you the feeling of both being welcomed along with that of privacy. The perfect location for walking the stunning surroundings.

Lovely property in easy walking distance of Birch Vale. Extremely welcoming host and a fabulous breakfast.

Stayed 1 night, Saturday to Sunday in October 2023. Very nice accomodation with plenty of parking, also great it is walking distance to the local town with a few good pubs and restaurants to choose from. We ate at Colosseo and had a few drinks at the Kinder, which were both great. The breakfast was very tasty and large which it helped fuel the walk around kinder reservoir the next day.

very nice place to stay, Carol was very helpful. we stayed 1 night. rooms were very clean, home form n-home. breakfast was excellent, good quality and plenty of it. in a lovely location for all the walks. The only one thing i would say is our Mattress was very "soft & bouncy" but thats personal preference not a problem.

Had a wonderful few days at the Waltzing Weasel. Carol is a very amusing lady and has the ability to make sure you start the day with a smile on your face. Fantastic breakfast. Would definitely stay again

Very pleasant stay - friendly staff, fantastic breakfast and convenient location. Our room was cosy and well appointed, although bathroom starting to look a bit tired.

The Waltzing Weasel is family run and I received a warm welcome from Carol the owner. My room was very well appointed, very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. I enjoyed a bath (heaps of hot water) as a personal treat on my first night and showers thereafter. I’m not a great sleeper but had a great nights sleep! Despite all eight room’s being full it was very quiet. Breakfast was very generous and plenty of choices. The B&B is well situated for exploring the Peak District. I walked up Jacobs Ladder, visited stone circles and explored the small villages. Buxton for lunch was very enjoyable. The scenery is stunning. I plan to return! Thank you Carol and Simon.
