Hotel Ambrosia

We have been to this stunning hotel before so we new what to expect, but this time we were quite surprised to see all the improvements they have made. New sunbeds and mattresses around the swimming pool and on the beach, all new decking on the beach which looked very smart. Excellent food! Our room was spotlessly clean and overlooked the pool with a stunning view. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Had a warm and welcoming entry at evening, we were lost on the streets of Bodrum's mind boggling roads with the car weve rented but we called the hotel and they guided us very nicely. Beach, view and the location is pretty nice. It's worth it's price for sure. Thanks to Yasin for calling a local horse riding business and setting up a reservation for us. You must try it while you are there! The bar's drinks were perfect, especially when you drink it on the seaside tables. It's pretty hard to not fall asleep at the beach with those wave sounds.

Öncelikle front desk çok yardımcıydı, ellerinden geldiğince mümkün olan en iyi manzaralı odayı ayarlamaya çalıştılar tekrar teşekkür ediyorum. Benim için en önemli şey odaların temiz olmasıydı, konum olarak merkezi ve denize yakın olmasıyla da bir daha tercih edeceğim güvenilir bir yer oldu.

Just returned from a 10 day holiday stay at this wonderful hotel. The hotel was very quiet as the holiday season is not in full swing yet but the relaxed atmosphere was welcoming. The hotel and grounds were spotless and the spacious room cleaned every other day. The staff were very helpful and friendly but we would like To give a special thank you to Ahmet, Ayesha and Gizam who looked after our food,drink and local advice and to Yasin in reception for his help with hotel facilities and local knowledge.

It was an amazing stay at Ambrosia Hotel...the property is amazing and it has its own beach which adds to its beauty ..the staff was also very cooperative and took complete care of all our needs...Special Thanks to the Manager Mr. Yasin who made us feel at home...He was of great help and we are lucky that we could meet him during our stay at the hotel...

A remarkable first Bodrum experience for us! Well worth it's price for every aspect you can think of. A central place that is close to popular spots, Gumbet, Old Bazaar etc. Thanks to everyone at the front office, housekeeping and the restaurant. Everyone was as friendly as we could want. Hope to see you guys again one day!

We've just returned from a great two weeks at Ambrosia. It was quiet as it's the end of the season & a few places are closed, but that suited us & we still found plenty of places to eat. The hotel is lovely and I feel in the best location in Bitez with the nicest beach area. We had ground floor rooms facing the pool. The rooms were good with comfy beds. I've seen lots of reviews about the balconies being too small for two people, that's not the case! The pool area is lovely with plenty of good sunbed & seating options. The buffet breakfast was always tasty with a great selection. The bar & restaurant staff are fab & can't do enough for you! A few negatives unfortunately: - The info leaflet states bedding is changed every other day, our was changed once in two weeks. - The fitness suite was closed during our stay. - We enjoyed seeing the Turkish weddings, however they are very loud & last until the early hours so sleeping was difficult. We also couldn't use the pool area during one of them as the loungers were packed away. - The room cleaning wasn't great, not a huge issue for us but may be for some. That aside, we would happily stay again 🙂

We have just returned from a very enjoyable week staying at this bed and breakfast hotel in Bitez. Ambrosia Hotel is a stones throw from the beach where free parasols and sunbeds are provided (not the most comfortable but OK). The pool is wonderful too, large and spotlessly clean. Our room was fine for us. Recently renovated and very comfortable bed. As mentioned in previous posts, difficult to lock balcony /sliding door and safety deposit box not fixed down (although large and heavy so difficult to steal unnoticed I guess). The breakfast included was mainly Turkish and we personally were a little disappointed with the choices on offer but they will cook omelettes (limited fillings) on request. If you fancy a full English it's an extra charge so we had this elsewhere one morning for a change of scene. Ambrosia did nice lunches /snacks and we ate there one evening, again nice food and plentiful. A long ***** of restaurants just along the beach all plying for your trade. We ate at Almera, New Seasons, Aqua and also The Golden Spoon which is a bit further along and set back from the seafront. All were good but beware prices have risen in Turkey as with everywhere! We were paying around the same for food and drink as you would in England. £5/£6 glass of wine, £15/£20 for chicken/lamb meals, £6 desserts ( so not quite how it used to be). Therefore, might be worth considering all inclusive depending on your preference /circumstance. Big thankyou to everyone at Ambrosia for an enjoyable stay, James and Ahmet in the restaurant especially. Would recommend the day boat trip through Jesus who has a stall at the far end of the restaurant *****, only £25 going to 4 islands, stop and swim /snorkel, delicious lunch and tea/cake included. Takes smaller groups, up to 12 people and was a great day. The only negative for us was there are quite a few stray (big) dogs around, as well as cats. Having said that, the dogs were placid and if you ignored them they generally ignored you. I'm scared of dogs but was fine once they didn't come to me. To sum up, go to Ambrosia for it's location in a stunning bay , lovely pool, hospitality and laid back vibe.. ENJOY!!!

A hidden gem with great amenities for leisure and beach activities. Plus a beachfront restaurant with delicious food and great service. Such a beautiful hotel!! Nice pool and also has spa services available. Turkish bath, massage, etc. Live music every night at the beach as well as many televised sports events. The included breakfast is is ordinary Turkish. An absolute treat, truly worth it and very underrated.
