Sadly not impressed. Bathroom very tired and i would say almost dirty. No remote control for TV, asked at reception but was told that there was one upstairs and it was universal, no it wasn't!! Breakfast, asked for poached egg on toast and my husband scrambled, received a plate with egg on it and two pieces of toast in a rack 5 mins later. Definitely not worth the money and wont be returning. Shame

Short one night stay visiting friends in the area. Very good booking process by Carly and Ross and then a warm welcome. Our reserved room was unavailable due to a bathroom leak but we were offered the Junior Suite upstairs on the first floor of the outbuildings in the courtyard. sound night sleep in a very comfortable super king-size bed followed by an excellent full cooked breakfast which Ross made. All in all very pleasant first stay at the Broadlands Hotel.

We turned up around 2.30pm. We was able to check in which was great. Room basic. Not cleaned great. Dust in a few places. We popped out and back in again when we noticed bathroom had a funny smell. Went across to explain about this we had to push a bell and wait for someone to come. We explained about the problem ( while we were there we decided to have a drink at bar. We were told we could if anything was left as she hadn't checked as she has had a month of. ). They went to our room and filled it with bleach. The smell we think was coming from a link in the sink. Got up first morning to have a shower. No hot water. When we go across for breakfast and we explain about water. She mentioned she would go and look and fix. While eating breakfast another couple come in and had the same problem. They decided to leave hotel and not stay out there time booked due to this as they didn't want to take the chance of not having hot water for the next two days. Came back from day out. Room hasn't even been touched and still no hot water. Wake next day another cold shower. Considering one couple had left and we had mentioned it something would have been done. We were made to feel like she couldn't be bothered with anything. We had to ask for more tea and coffee as this was not replaced. Everytime we pushed bell she came across as we had ruined her day of doing nothing. When we spoke about it, it was like after lie and she just couldn't be bothered. After couple left they couples that were left knew about it at breakfast as she was placing breakfast bits down as a small child that was having tantrum. Unprofessional.

we spent 2 nights at Broadlands Hotel. We stayed in the junior suite. spotlessly clean, lovely comfy king size bed, very cosy lounge upstairs. However, the bathroom is in desperate need of a complete new one!, it needs ripping out and replacing with a complete new plumbing system altogether, (we heard other guests complain about the same thing). It is very dated and took about 15 minutes for the shower to get warm. The breakfast was average, not a lot to choose from, especially for people with food intolerance's/allergy's etc. Very Friendly staff though and i am sure they all work extremely hard. We paid £360 for a 2 night stay, which we found was extremely over priced for what it was! For £180 per night, i was expecting top end. The junior suites are in desperate need of a refurb!!!.

Not value for money . Tired looking . Bathroom not finished off properly tiling on floor . Marks on skirting boards and tiles. Had to stand really close to bath taps to be under shower head. Toilet seat moves . Lot of dust in bedroom area especially tv . Toffees and tablets found in carpet . Stained duvet in wardrobe. No remote for tv downstairs. Hospitality tray lacking , no hot chocolate very sp**** amount of milk , one packet of biscuits first day, none the next . Breakfast was ok but different amounts on different days . Only orange juice for one of us on first day . Some of crockery chipped. Toast cold . Thought £170 / night was steep for this. We have stayed in better places for less money .

Disappointing stay here at the end of October. Lovely room but bathroom in poor state especially the shower. Not clean enough. Does not warrant a 4* rating. Breakfast was ok. We will not be returning, too expensive for what it is. Nice location. £10 to is charged to park your car.

Breakfast lovely and very good choice Slightly disappointed with quality of rooms, room advertised as large but wasn’t overly large, towels were lovely and soft but shower needs looking at, we are quite small and struggled to stop water spraying all over floor Thought it was costly for what it actually was

The hotel is lovely and in the perfect position a quick 5 minutes walk to the main street. Carlie the host couldn't do enough for us, nothing was a problem, just amazing service. And the breakfast was much more than we expected. We would highly recommend.
