Ibis a 10 minutos andando del centro. Habitación amplia para ser un Ibis. Tiene como 2 ambientes, pero solo en uno hay un solo enchufe. El baño es pequeño. Sin secador. Los recepcionistas bastantes antipáticos y no hablan español. Cerca puedes aparcar, pero hay gorrillas que te piden 5€. Yo no dejaría el coche allí, por lo que lo dejamos en un parking público a 500m con el que tiene acuerdo el hotel y cobran 10€ el día. El desayuno vale 6,5€ por persona. No merece la pena, es el peor desayuno que he visto. Solo pan, unos mini croissant, café, yogur y poco más. Muy escaso para lo que vale.

The location is perfect with Avenue de la Libertade leading to the center, restaurants, activities, etc. The room was spacious, very comfortable, nice bathroom with an exceptional shower cubicle. The service was normal, nothing more. We didn't eat there so no comments, except for the very average room service sandwich, not even a few crisps to go with it, untoasted bread. Really insufficient, does not correspond to the hotel. Otherwise, everything is perfect. We recommend and we will surely come back if we pass Braga again.

The hotel does not have a lobby, the space is cramped, the interior and furniture are slightly cheaper, and the price is not the same as the four stars. Fortunately, the location of the hotel is very good, only five minutes walk from the old city. When we arrived near the hotel, we found that the entire street, including the hotel's private parking lot, was blocked. It turned out to be a parade of Easter. The front desk of the hotel was not willing to help explain to the police, nor was it willing to pay for the entire parking lot, showing a way of not accepting responsibility. Knowing that the guest's parking space will be cancelled during the festival, without prior notice to the customer, it is convenient for us to make other arrangements. We initially planned to stay in Braga for three days and then travel throughout the region. We liked the city, and especially this wonderful small hotel, so much that we stayed for a full week, and used it as a base for visiting other towns. Our room was quite pleasant, with modern decor, a very comfortable bed, and a decent sized (and attractive) kitchen area. Some people have complained about the fact that the shower has a glass wall that looks out onto the room, but you can lower a shade for more privacy if you wish. The location is amazing, 1/2 block from the cathedral but located on a small alley which was very quiet despite the lively seen in the cathedral plaza. The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to make you comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great views. The location alone makes it 4 or 5 stars. Right next to Bom Jesus, lots of walking trails, garden, children's park , outdoor exercise equipment, very small but cute and romantic lake with boat rentals in walking vicinity. Note, you have to go thru security gate to access parking area of all 3 or 4 hotels in same area. The hotel is a refurbished older boutique style hotel, which we loved. Clean, comfortable, quiet and room darkening shutters.
